WWE Smackdown Live 23/4/19 | My Coherent Review.

This episode was basically Monday Night RAW lite in terms of how long this show felt but it was fine for what it was.

Opening segment.

Reigns drops his microphone without saying a word…
The show started off with The best in the world, Shane McMahon and tells Greg Hamilton to announce his name with conviction just like the past weeks.

After that, discusses how he's disgusted seeing his father getting hit by Roman Reigns and how it's equivalent to disrespecting the United States flag.

Shane then called out Roman Reigns which that's exactly what happened (but at least I don't get to hear Micheal Cole say “here comes the big dog”).

Reigns threw the microphone and so did Shane McMahon but out came Elias which led to both Elias and Shane McMahon beating the crap out him.

So, we know who Roman is gonna feud now and I'm meh with it for now.

Kayla Braxton interviewed Kofi Kingston and she asked about his 11-year journey to become champion. Kofi Kingston said that it feels good to become WWE champion. Kevin Owens and Xavier Woods interfered and both of those guys said “New Day Rocks’.

Finn Balor vs Andrade.

A rematch from RAW last week but was it any good? Not really but it was decent. Balor won the match with the coup de grace with an unintentional assist from Zelina Vega. That distraction made Zelina Vega look like an idiot if you ask me.

After that, Elias sang a song where he proposed a match between himself and Roman Reigns to which minutes later, Roman Reigns in a separate segment, actually accepted the offer.

Kairi Sane vs Peyton Royce.

The match ended pretty quickly with an insane elbow drop from Kairi Sane. Oh, and the promo before this match from The IIconics was decent.

Jinder Mahal vs Chad Gable.

Before this match, Aleister Black cut a promo in a dark room and I wish I knew what he meant but I don't. The match, by the way, hasn't started because Lars Sullivan storms Chad Gable from behind and delivered the freak accident to Sunil and Samir Singh.

Out came R Truth and wasted no time to brawl with Lars Sullivan but R Truth came short. Lars Sullivan delivered a running sitout powerbomb to R Truth. Wow, A lot of stuff happened in this but I like it.

Becky Lynch and Charlotte Flair. Face to face confrontation.

“You are the web that management won’t untangle me from,” Becky exclaims.
Charlotte Flair cut a promo about how Becky Lynch pinned the wrong woman to become champion. Out came The Man in Becky Lynch and she replied Charlotte's comment by saying that she pinned Ronda Rousey in the middle of the ring.

Something Charlotte hasn't done before. Becky Lynch also said that she beat Charlotte countless times. Charlotte then said that Becky took her SmackDown Live women's championship by not pinning her and after Becky is through with Lacy Evans, Charlotte is next in line for the SmackDown Live women's championship.

Out came Bayley and she basically said that all she sees is a rerun and Becky hasn't beaten her before. Bayley then wanted a match between herself and Charlotte Flair to determine a number one contender. I love this intense version of Bayley but this segment was too damn long.

Bayley vs Charlotte Flair.

This was a good match. At one point, Bayley did a sunset flip onto the corner which looked devastating. The match ended with a spear from Charlotte. Look, they had fantastic matches and I would've loved to see it again.

However, a match between Bayley and Becky Lynch is a match a much prefer considering that it's a fresh matchup and we've never seen this match on the main roster.

Kofi Kingston vs Shinsuke Nakamura.

This was an okay main event. The match ended in a DQ because Rusev interfered and Kevin Owens along with Xavier Woods, managed to save the champion until Kevin Owens blindsided Kofi with a superkick.

Man, Owens is not a good friend to anybody except for Sami Zayn but how long do you think he's gonna backstab Zayn too? Anyways, I saw this coming and I'm glad that Kevin Owens is back playing a role he's best suited at.

So, to recap for all of you slow mofos:

Like: Charlotte Flair vs Bayley, the ending of this show, Lars Sullivan booked like a monster.

Didn't like: The Becky Lynch and Charlotte Flair segment was too damn long, the distraction from Zelina made her look like an idiot.

WWE RAW 29/3/21 | A Coherent Review.

Once again, this show was mediocre as f**k.  Images via WWE.com   The Hurt Business Is No More. Why? Because WWE hates friendships. All lame jokes aside, the actual reason is that Cedric Alexander and Shelton didn't get the job done on taking out Drew McIntyre.  Alexander and Benjamin weren't too happy with Bobby's words and it led to a brawl.   Wow. It looks like Shelton Benjamin and Cedric Alexander will go right back to not being on TV for a longer period of time. I don't like this at all!  Riddle suggested an idea to Titus O'Neil of a Wrestlemania roast to which the guy was attacked by Sheamus. Speaking of Sheamus and Riddle…… Riddle vs Sheamus.  I ain't a fan of Riddle but he and Sheamus have incredible chemistry because this match was fun. Sheamus pinned the US champion.  After the match, Riddle pushed Sheamus to the outside. I smell a rematch happening at Wrestlemania.  Shane McMahon Calls Braun Strowman Dumb By Bringing up Strowman's Fifth Grade Repo

WWE Smackdown 14/2/20 | My Coherent Review.

Last night was my 2nd anniversary of pumping out written content on this site and I thought since this show has delivered 6 or sometimes 3 out of 10s for 4 months now, I've written some lyrics about my thoughts on Smackdown in the style of the current song opening for the blue brand.  If you wanna put the instrumental version of ACDC's Are You Ready while reading this then that's cool too.  *Cue the intro* Are you Ready?  Are you ready for mediocrity! Then, get ready for disappointment.  No one needs it.  No one needs it.  No one needs it.   Even Bischoff.  Are you ready for mediocrity! *ends with some guitar solos*.  The lyrics may suck but it is at least better than whatever the hell Justin Bieber meant when he sang his current single "Yummy".  Now, on with the review. The Return Of A Moment Of Bliss (Unlike The Return Of The Dirt Sheets, Nobody Really Cares).  Both Bliss and Nikki Cross talked about their c

WWE RAW 6/7/20 | A Coherent Review.

This episode of RAW actually made me look forward to Extreme Rules and that's something WWE doesn't do all that well in recent years. It was a great effort by the powers that be.  Dolph Ziggler Picks The Stipulation For The WWE Championship At Extreme Rules: The Horror Show.  McIntyre is waiting for Dolph Ziggler to pick the stipulation for their championship match at Extreme Rules.  Drew got his wish as Dolph Ziggler said that Drew has been stabbing people in the back and that includes the person that Ziggler brought up but not verbally, Heath Slater.  In a very emotional promo, Slater told his former 3MB mate that he was there for Drew McIntyre when Drew was fired from WWE in 2014 but the Scotsmen wasn't there for Slater when he was fired this year.  So, the one-man-band challenged him to a match and the WWE champion accepted. How was the match?  It was a squash bout. Drew wins with the claymore to which Ziggler was picking on Heath and Mc
