WWE NXT 17/4/19 | My Coherent Review.

This was a wrestling heavy show for the most part and you know what? I like it.

Velveteen Dream vs Buddy Murphy for the NXT North American Championship.

WWE Photo
Great match. During the match, Velveteen Dream hit a superkick to Murphy that knocked Murphy's head off. Minutes later, Murphy hits a superkick while Dream was upside down followed by a sitout powerbomb to a near fall.

The match ended with Dream does his signature moves in the death valley driver and the purple rainmaker and won the match. Again, that was a great TV match and I know this early to say this but that was a match of the year candidate.

After this amazing encounter, Street Profits was knocking on William Regal’s office door and the War Raiders (yes, I'm gonna call them that because The Viking Experience is an AWFUL name) came from Regal’s and said that The Street Profits are getting their championship match next week. Weird that The Viking Experience wore the War Raiders shirt.

Johnny Champion Talks about his big win at NXT Takeover: New York.

WWE Photo
Johnny Gargano cut a promo basically saying that this a moment he's been waiting for. Out came Adam Cole and the rest of Undisputed Era to spoil the celebration and he said that Johnny Gargano win was a fluke with chants of “You tapped out”.

Gargano replied by saying that his win was undisputed and he's not gonna cry like a little bay bay if he lost the match (that was a great line). Roderick Strong from behind assaulted the champ along with the rest of Undisputed Era. Good segment. The question is, Are we gonna get a rematch? Hope so.

Dominic Djakovic vs Aaron Frye.

WWE Photo
That was a squash match. Dominic Djakovic with a dominant victory with a big boot. After the match, He cut a promo basically saying that he wants the North American Championship.

Oh, and a match between Johnny Gargano and Roderick Strong is scheduled for next week's episode. Also, Kushida will debut on NXT TV in two weeks. Can’t wait.

Shayna Baszler vs Kairi Sane for the NXT Women's Championship.

WWE Photo
During the match, Shayna Baszler beat up Kairi Sane arm so bad that the medical team came out to check on Kairi. After Shayna hits Sane on her arm, Io Shirai came out and pushed Shayna Baszler which led to the match ending in a DQ.

That was a unique ending. I thought that maybe somewhere down the road WWE could build a feud where Kairi Sane was angry at Io Shirai considering that Io costed Kairi’s championship match but I don't know if that's gonna happen.

So, to recap for all of you slow mofos:

Like: Dream vs Murphy for the NXT North American Championship, Johnny Gargano interaction with the Undisputed Era in an in-ring segment.

Didn't like: Nothing really.

AEW Dynamite Blood And Guts | A Coherent Review.

Another watchable episode of AEW Dynamite but this time, it features the first-ever Blood And Guts encounter. Kenny Omega And Michael Nakazawa vs Jon Moxley And Eddie Kingston.  Don Callis announced that Michael Nakazawa is going to face Mox and Kingston all by himself only for Kenny Omega to show up and compete in the match anyway.  A weird booking choice but I'm just nitpicking.  What wasn't weird was how the match ended with a double team dragon suplex into a clothesline from the duo of Mox and Kingston to Nakazawa.  Then, a beatdown ensued from Omega's Posse to Jonny Mox and Eddie Kingston. The Young Bucks vs Jon Moxley and Eddie Kingston? I'm down.  It was revealed later in the night that a number one contenders match for the AEW championship is set up for next week's show between Orange Cassidy and Pac. I'm assuming AEW is saving the Hangman Page and Kenny Omega encounter for All Out?  Either way, AEW has the potential to tell an interesting story of ...

WWE RAW 5/10/20 | A Coherent Review.

I have not said this in a RAW review in a very long time but the show as a whole was straight up dogsh*t awful.  It's so bad that I didn't like one ounce about this program.  pictures via wwe.com Randy Orton Remembers His Match At Clash Of Champions.  The show started off with Randy Orton recalling certain aspects about the WWE championship match at Clash Of Champions.  Orton goes on to say that Drew doesn't deserve the championship because the legends interfered in the ambulance match.  The promo ended with Orton bringing up the fact that he beat up four legends last week on RAW (again, explain the physics behind this?).  Drew showed up and he laid waste on the guy.  Randy has been quite exceptional in the dialogue department but this ain't it.  The promo actually put me to sleep and the show didn't even hit 10 minutes up until that point.  If they suddenly end the rivalry like nothing happened, while it doesn't make sense, I'm all for it be...

WWE NXT UK Takeover: Cardiff | My Coherent Review.

via WWE I don't watch or review the first NXT UK Takeover for some odd reason but I'm so glad I did because that was like the main NXT Takeovers, was absolutely great to watch. I'm just speechless and if you have watched the show then you'll know why (also, if you somehow didn't watch this show, what are you doing? Go and treat yourself with some wrestling goodness.) Noam Dar vs Travis Banks.  A very enjoyable opening match. Noam Dar proves that he's great at what he does with so many submission holes because if you don't know, I'm a technical wrestling connoisseur. Noam Dar won the match with a standing shining wizard.  Cesaro vs Ilja Dragunov. Always great to see Cesaro do what he does best and that's a fight inside the square circle. So, Ilja called out Cesaro because Cesaro's looking for an open challenge and Cesaro obviously picked his challenger.  The Swiss Cyborg started off this match by throwing Dragunov to the outside ...
