WWE RAW 22/4/19 | My Coherent Review.

This was a decent show with some good stuff but the negatives made me scratch my head to the point that I almost got bald (it's a metaphor, relax guys).

Opening segment.

The Kingslayer thinks it̢۪s surreal to be back in his home state as Universal Champion.
The show kicked off with the man with three H’s in Triple H and as soon as he was about to speak, The beast slayer in Seth Rollins came out. The universal champion said that it feels good to be back in his hometown after everything he and Hunter been through. Triple H then said that he went into Wrestlemania as the King slayer and now came out of WrestleMania as a certified beast slayer.

Minutes later, Triple H told Seth that there are 2 triple threat matches and the winners of those two matches will compete in the main event of RAW to determine the number one contender for the Universal Championship at Money in the Bank PPV on May 19.

Out came Samoa Joe, Rey Mysterio, Drew McIntyre, The Miz, Baron Corbin and AJ Styles. They all basically said that they will beat Seth Rollins and become the universal champion.

The segment ended with Seth saying that he's gonna burn it down. Suprised that there's no brawl between all of those men but nevertheless, this was a good segment.

Samoa Joe vs Rey Mysterio vs AJ Styles.

A very good match. The Phenomenal One, AJ Styles won the match with the styles clash onto Samoa Joe. I know I'm nitpicking but I wish that he pinned Rey Mysterio instead of Samoa Joe considering that Joe's a United States champion.

Naomi vs Billie Kay.

WWE Photo
Match ended with a sunset flip pin from Naomi and Naomi won the match. It was a whatever match.

The Miz vs Drew McIntyre vs Baron Corbin.

Another great match and I can't believe I'm saying this but I prefer this match over the opening match of this episode. Kudos to all of those men for that match.

Sami Zayn Talks About the Toxicity Amongst People.

Zayn shows photos of him taking a vacation around the world while he was injured.
Sami Zayn cut a promo about how he's been reconnecting with nature by travelling the world and how the people's toxic are the reason why Sami Zayn has a sense of anxiety.

Zayn also said that he'll rather be travelling to Sweden then Iowa and told the crowd that they can go to hell. Well, that was not nice. In all honesty, this was decent and he should've cut that promo last week but that's just me.

Cedric Alexander vs Cesaro.

WWE Photo
Cesaro is on RAW for some reason. Anyways, decent match but the ending is just frustrating. Cesaro won the match with the uppercut. I gotta ask, WHYEE? There's no and I mean NO reason why Cesaro should win this match. Absolutely none whatsoever. Now you wonder why WWE rarely elevates new stars and book them to their fullest potential. Do you know how a win would I don't know, BENEFIT CEDRIC IN HIS MAIN ROSTER TENOR? This is your future WWE, remember that.

After that, Charly Caruso interviewed The Usos and in it, they talked about the entire tag team division and made a reference of their recent arrest which was funny. Then, out came The Revival and The Usos told them about The Usos penitentiary.

The Viking Raiders vs The Lucha House Party.

 WWE Photo
The match for some reason hasn't started. The Viking Raiders destroyed The Lucha House Party. After the destruction from The Viking Raiders, Zack Ryder and Curt Hawkins were asked in the locker room if their afraid of The Vikings Raiders and they basically said that their experience (get it?) will be their big advantage.

Becky Lynch vs Alicia Fox.

WWE Photo
Before this, Becky Lynch cut a promo basically saying that she's beaten a bleach blonde girl before. Lacy Evans came out and she told her that she's gonna teach Becky a lesson with the woman's right.

Becky Lynch replied by saying that she's gonna beat the crap out of Evans at Money in The Bank. Great promo by Lynch.

The match was okay. Becky Lynch won the match with the disarmher and then Lacy hits Becky with two woman's rights.

Ricochet vs Robert Roode.

WWE Photo
Yes, you read that right. Bobby Roode is now known as Robert Roode. What's with WWE and name changes like holy moly. Anyways, the man with an awful name in Robert Roode won the match with the glorious DDT. This loss is the same way I feel about Cedric Alexander’s loss. Why?

Then, there was a video played where Bray Wyatt with a smile on his face was in a what he likes to call it, the firefly fun house and introduced his friends in a blizzard with a Hawaiian shirt and a doll. Am I watching Mr Rodgers or Monday Night RAW? I can't tell at this point. In all honesty, I'm curious as to where this new character from Bray goes.

AJ Styles vs Baron Corbin.

WWE Photo
Finally, a win I don't mind. The phenomenal one won the match with the phenomenal forearm.

So, to recap for all of you slow mofos:

Like: The two triple threat matches, opening segment, Becky Lynch's fire promo.

Didn’t like: Cedric and Ricochet losing.

WWE Smackdown Season Premiere | A Coherent Review.

It is the season premiere of Friday night Smackdown even though WWE doesn't have an offseason.  Nevertheless, it was a decent program and had a WAY better ending than whatever the hell of an ending last year's premiere of Friday night Smackdown showed.  There isn't a women's match this week and all of the AEW fanboys are looking at this like, "sEe, WWE dOeSn't feATuRe wOmeN'S mAtChEs aLsO."  pictures via WWE.com The Season Premiere Of Smackdown 2020.  The show started off with Triple H and Stephanie McMahon highlighting the scheduled matches for Smackdown as well as the superstars.  Chaos then ensued thanks to a huge brawl. Then, the "super freak" Lars Sullivan came out and delivered the freak accident to Shorty G.  Somehow, Jeff Hardy attacked him and that led to the opening match of the night between Lars and Jeff.  You know, I'm kind of surprised that two white people in McMahon and Hemsley knew who Rick James is.  Maybe I'm igno...

The Coherent Wrestling Wednesdays: Fyter Fest 2020 Came Back Swinging?

Last week, on this very series, I said that I enjoyed Great American Bash better than Fyter Fest.  Well, this week is the exact opposite. AEW came in swinging with night 2 Fyter Fest.  I've not liked a Dynamite episode in several weeks so it's nice to see that the show finally executed a great show since God knows how long.   NXT      Highlights (at least in my opinion because wrestling is subjective).  Mia Yim vs Candice LeRae In A Street Fight. The match went underway after Yim quickly attacked Candice LeRae during LeRae's entrance.  In the crowd area, Candice tried to nail the suplex on the table but Yim got out of that position and kicked her to which she landed through the table.  The Streetfight concluded with LeRae striking Yim with the brass knuckles followed by a swinging neck from the top of the table onto a bunch of chairs and that's how LeRae defeats the HBIC.  A fun opening match even though...

THE Coherent AEW Take: Christian Dior, Dior. Eddie Kingston up in all the stores!

Ever since AEW Dynamite was on Saturday night for a bit, I've been WAY behind on AEW content so excuse my ignorance. And It's Full Gear weekend which means another PPV that would last longer than the Snyder cut.  Sheeit, I'll bet the collar and elbow hold alone from the Hangman Page and Kenny Omega championship match, is longer than the entire Queen's Crown tournament.  As far as how I feel about both programs this week, well.  They did an okay job on building towards the final AEW PPV of the year this Saturday. Rampage.   Highlights.  Bryan Danielson vs Anthony Bowens.  And no, the highlight doesn't include Max Caster's verses. I'll rather listen to f**king Riff Raff than Max Caster's dig on anything.  The worst part, people are probably going to look at this and say, "can't wait for a Max Caster's appearance on Wild 'N Out!"  With that being said, this opening match was good. Danielson wins with the rebel lock.  Eddie Kingston (wi...
