A Few News I Guess: WWE 2K22 Has FANTASTIC Gameplay??

Since this week's news is slower than the way Peacock buffers, I decided to deliver my 3 viewers here a few news, guess?

Saliva On WWE’s Unreleased Recordings.

We all can agree that Saliva was THE band for wrestling fans in the 2000s, right?

If you said, "well, I like Trapt" then I should probably stay away from you.

However you feel about this topic, is up to the individuals. Sticking to the headline, Saliva's lead singer, Bobby Amaru revealed in a discussion with Reel Talker that they recorded a new version of Batista's "I Walk Alone" along with another track but it wasn't released (from WrestlingInc):

"They had reached out about us doing something a couple years ago. “I think it had to do about re-recording ‘I Walk Alone’ and doing something else. We ended up re-recording ‘I Walk Alone’. So it’s done, we just haven’t released it.”

This is why I hate corporations.

A New Trademark For Edge??

Speaking of said corporation, they have filed a trademark for Edge aka "what's the male version of milf?". The word is "Earn Your Scars". Here's the description of the trademark (WrestlingInc):

"Trademark registration is intended to cover the categories of clothing, namely, tops, shirts, jackets, sweatshirts, hoodies; outerwear, namely, coats; bottoms, pants, shorts, underwear, dresses, pajamas, lingerie, clothing ties, scarves, gloves, swimwear; Halloween and masquerade costumes; footwear, namely, shoes, sneakers, slippers, flip flops, boots; headwear, namely, hats, caps; wrist bands; bandanas; championship trophy belts."

Cooool.

WWE 2K22 Has FANTASTIC Gameplay!?

WWE 2K22 is like Smash players not knowing what a deodorant is but they know it exists.

This click-worthy headline stems from a podcast called Mazique Speaks published by a Forbes sports and video games journalist by the name of Brian Mazique.

In it, he's heard from his snitch that the build from the latest 2K wrestling game is "fantastic" from a gameplay standpoint and how the game engine is "completely rebuilt" as well as a cleaner mechanics control.

Mazique also revealed that the game is a "wrestling fan's wrestling game".

We all know how disastrous of a game 2K20 was. The game was so sh*te that there wasn't a WWE 2K21 (Thank God).

The rumour sounds optimistic but as the saying goes, "seeing is believing".

Top Dolla Aka AJ Francis On Wanting A Stable With Lio Rush And Isaiah ‘Swerve’ Scott.

During the conversation, Hit Row's Top Dolla stated that he wanted an idea for the Hit Row group to be himself, Isiah Swerve Scott and Lio Rush (From Post Wrestling):

"I came to NXT and originally, I wanted to do the crew with [Isaiah] Swerve [Scott] and Lio Rush. Lio got released, Swerve was doing like a mad scientist gimmick so I was like, ‘Ah, maybe I should focus on myself.’

Hunter comes up to me and Swerve and says, ‘Hey, would you have a problem with Swerve being part of the crew?’ And I was like, ‘Nah, that’s great. Swerve raps’ and he don’t know that in my mind, Swerve was gonna be it in when I first got here anyway, you know what I’m saying? So I’m like yeah, this is great. So then lo and behold, he’s already doing the storyline with Leon Ruff which ends up with me catching him off the ladder and giving him my finisher off the barricade and the rest is history."

The word "Interesting" came to mind after reading this (no f**king sh*t, Omar).

What do you think about the news I just reported and follow me on the tweets @omartheplayaguy? Anyways, stay safe smarks.

WWE Extreme Rules 2019 | My Coherent Review.

Man, I'm impressed with WWE in terms of PPVs as of late because overall, this was a fantastic show in my opinion with great matches but the crowd was dead for most of the show so that sucks.  I finally watched the pre-show match between Finn Balor and Shinsuke Nakamura before I went to bed because the show aired at 2 am where I live and it was okay.  By the way, how interesting is it when on last year’s Extreme Rules show, Shinsuke Nakamura won the United States championship and now this year’s show, he won the intercontinental title. Also, it's funny that the intercontinental championship was the main event on last's year show and on this year's Extreme Rules PPV, it's on the preshow.  Shane McMahon and Drew McIntyre vs Roman Reigns and The Undertaker.  Mike Rome did better in announcing "The Best In the world" this time than on RAW. Mike Rome's announcement a few weeks ago sounded like that one friend that thinks he/she knows how to ...

NXT Takeover: In Your House 2020 | A Coherent Review.

NXT Takeover: In Your House is like the rest of the Takeover shows, a fantastic 2 hours of professional wrestling.  What makes this show special is the additional nostalgia like how the show started with the NXT WWF inspired intro, the ice cream commercial narrated by William Regal doing his best Lord Alferd Hayes impression, icopro commercial and last but not least, Todd Pettengill.  This is a show that I'm definitely rewatching in years to come.  Mia Yim, Tegan Nox And Shotzi Blackheart vs Raquel Gonzalez, Candice LeRae And Dakota Kai.  A decent opening match. During the match, Nox did a Molly Holly top rope on to every competitor in the match.  Yim tried to give LeRae some Seoul Food but LeRae reversed that into a suplex. Several minutes later, Shotzi did a Salida Del Sol of some sort on Gonzalez to which Nox delivered the shiniest wizard on Kai and won the match.  Finn Balor vs Damian Priest. I actually thought that the closing mo...

The Coherent Wrestling Wednesdays: Holy Sh*t, The Revival Are All Elite, Matt Riddle vs Timothy Thatcher In A Unique Steel Cage Match.

Both shows had its weak points but overall, that was an enjoyable 4 hours of professional wrestling television. I personally liked AEW Dynamite this week.  From an awesome women's match with Shida and Christi Jaynes to The Revival showing up, AEW managed to give me a solid episode and successfully furthered their storylines to next week's exciting show.  NXT   Highlights (at least in my opinion because wrestling is subjective).  Kushida vs Drake Maverick vs Jake Atlas. Triple Threat Match Interim Cruiserweight Championship Tournament.  What a way to kick off this episode of NXT, am I right? Atlas delivered the rainbow DDT but Kushida broke Jake's pin.  Speaking of Kushida, he nailed the armbar submission, however, Drake pinned Atlas because Atlas' shoulders were on the mat and will meet El Hijo Del Fantasma for the finals next week.  I don't know if Drake is rehired or he's going to be rehired but Maverick has a big ta...
