Man, I'm impressed with WWE in terms of PPVs as of late because overall, this was a fantastic show in my opinion with great matches but the crowd was dead for most of the show so that sucks.
I finally watched the pre-show match between Finn Balor and Shinsuke Nakamura before I went to bed because the show aired at 2 am where I live and it was okay.
By the way, how interesting is it when on last year’s Extreme Rules show, Shinsuke Nakamura won the United States championship and now this year’s show, he won the intercontinental title. Also, it's funny that the intercontinental championship was the main event on last's year show and on this year's Extreme Rules PPV, it's on the preshow.
Shane McMahon and Drew McIntyre vs Roman Reigns and The Undertaker.
Mike Rome did better in announcing "The Best In the world" this time than on RAW. Mike Rome's announcement a few weeks ago sounded like that one friend that thinks he/she knows how to sing but you know he or she doesn't. I know I'm nitpicking over here but what does "they have butterflies in their stomachs" mean Renee?
Anyways, the interaction between Shane and Taker is MILES better than their Wrestlemania 32 match and speaking of those two, Undertaker was about to hit the chokeslam on the announce table to Shane McMahon but Elias hits Undertaker out of nowhere with a guitar.
Shane McMahon with the help of Elias and Drew McIntyre putting Taker in place, delivered the leap of faith elbow drop to Undertaker through the announce table. Shane them hits Undertaker with the coast to coast and minutes later, Shane wanted to pin Taker until The Deadman has risen and delivered the chokeslam to Shane and Elias.
The match ends with Roman hits Drew McIntyre with the spear, pushed Shane McMahon to Undertaker, delivered the tombstone piledriver from the Phenom and the babyface team won the match.
This is the no pun intended, the BEST I've seen Undertaker in years. Also, the match was very good and it had an Attitude era feel to it for some reason with all the chaos going on.
The Revival vs The Usos for the RAW Tag Team championship.
We went from an okay backstage interview between Seth Rollins and Becky Lynch to a RAW reunion show in a week to this match and it was very entertaining. During the match, The Revival delivered the finish for Demolition aka a backbreaker position into an elbow drop to Jey Uso which looked nasty.
After minutes of mugging from The Revival, Jey finally tagged his brother Jimmy Uso and he hits two Samoa drops each to Scott Dawson and Dash Wilder.
Scott Dawson then delivered a superplex to Jimmy which led to Dash delivered a splash of his own and Jey broke the pin from Wilder (that was a great sequence).
The match ended with a shatter machine to Jimmy Uso and just like that, they retained the championships. This was the first big win I've seen from the Revival and I'm pretty impressed. That was a classic tag team wrestling and it was a shame that the crowd was dead for most of that match.
Aleister Black vs Cesaro.
A very good physical match. The match started off with two guys trying to hit each other's finisher but failed. Aleister then tried to hit the double knee strike but Cesaro countered that with a pop-up uppercut which looked impressive as always when Cesaro hits that manoeuvre.
Then, Aleister reversed Cesaro's springboard swinging uppercut into a knee strike. After Aleister Black took a series of uppercuts from the Swiss Cyborg, Aleister Black immediately delivered the black mass and won the match. Is he happy now or Nah?
Backstage segment.
R Truth and Carmella were looking for Drake Maverick or "Hornswoggle" as R Truth will like to put it and he asked Alexa Bliss who came from her locker room with Nikki Cross, if "Hornswoggle" is in there?
She said that he is and Carmella pulled him from her and said that Bliss is lying. The Street Profits came out after Nikki and Bliss were talking and the NXT Tag Team Champions basically said that Bliss is using Nikki Cross.
Nikki like that loyal friend said that she and Bliss are going to be the first-ever co SmackDown Live tag team champions and speaking of which…..
Bayley vs Nikki Cross an Alexa Bliss for the SmackDown Live Women's Championship.
The champ got a 2 on 1 beating from both Cross and Bliss until Bayley got a comeback with a dive to Cross and minutes later, a figure four to Nikki and a crossface to Bliss at the same time which looked great.
Bayley reversed the twisted Bliss and Bayley delivered the elbow drop to Nikki Cross who was the legal woman and won the match. This was okay and I'm a bit surprised that Bayley won that match considering that I assumed that WWE was stretching that storyline and winning the title was a great start to that.
Maybe they can stretch that storyline without a title or titles in hands? Who knows? We shall see.
Braun Strowman vs Bobby Lashley in A Last Man Standing Match.
Those two guys brawled in the ring, outside the ring, the crowd area, the concession stand, near the concession stand, the crowd area again and then, Braun Strowman hits a powerslam through a wooden object covered with a black skirt and the referee counted Lashley to 10 and won the match.
For a last man standing match, it was disappointing because the match was mostly slow but it was okay for what it was.
Daniel Bryan and Rowan vs Heavy Machinery vs The New Day for the SmackDown Live Tag Team Championship.
This match metaphorically speaking, is like a tasty starter but not the greatest thing I've tasted in my life. In other words, it was pretty good and the finish was something I didn't see it coming.
Big E destroyed Bryan with a clothesline and after Big E reversed that turnbuckle flip, Big E and Xavier Woods delivered the midnight hour and became a 6-time tag team champions. Shame that WWE didn't do anything significant with Daniel Bryan and Rowan but I don't mind the win nevertheless.
Kofi Kingston was celebrating his friends winning the titles and Kayla Braxton wa1s about to interview those guys until Paul Heyman took the microphone from Braxton and went straight to the stage area. Paul Heyman cut a simple promo saying that Brock Lesnar will cash in either the WWE championship or the Universal Championship. The question is, Did Brock cash in his contract?
AJ Styles vs Ricochet for the United States Championship.
Before the match started, Luke Gallows and Karl Anderson were hitting straight rights and lefts to Ricochet which I'm not gonna lie it was very smart.
At one point, Ricochet did a beautiful looking springboard shooting star press and Styles foot was under the ropes thanks to Karl Anderson reminding the referee that one of Styles' leg was under the ropes.
Luke Gallows puts his hands on Ricochet and Styles delivered the avalanche Styles clash and became the United States champion for the third consecutive time. Very excited as to how this storyline develops because now we've officially seen another layer put into this storyline. If WWE was smart, they could stretch this until Survivor Series but that's just me though.
Kevin Owens vs Dolph Ziggler.

That match ended quicker than a typical jobber squash. After Kevin Owens won the match with the stunner, Kevin Owens grabbed the microphone and said that Shane can kiss his ass and go straight to hell.
If they wanna put that match, at least produce some sort of a competitive match. Other than the promo from Owens, this was a waste of time and that amount should've been given to that US championship match if they wanna increase the PPV time limit.
Kofi Kingston vs Samoa Joe for the WWE Championship.
This match while not as quick as the Kevin Owens and Dolph Ziggler, it felt like a short match. Samoa Joe was at one point, was viciously hitting Kofi's fingers but that didn't get him to victory because Kofi Kingston won the match with the trouble in paradise.
Hoping that WWE doesn't book or write another wrestler to beat up Kofi Kingston because just like that Samoa Joe beatdown, it was a great example of lazy writing or lazy booking.
Seth Rollins and Becky Lynch vs Baron Corbin and Lacey Evans for Both The RAW Women's Championship and The Universal Championship In An Extreme Rules Match.
After Rollins grabbed the kendo stick from Lacey, Becky Lynch took another kendo stick and hits Evans really hard and very quickly too. Corbin then hits Seth Rollins a DDT onto the steel chair.
Becky tagged her boyfriend and Lynch hits Lacey Evans with a lot of steel chair shots and a leg drop from the top rope onto the steel chair. Lacey got a come back with a springboard elbow drop and a moonsault to Becky Lynch but The Man survived that.

The heel team delivered a chokeslam to Seth Rollins and Becky Lynch which is rare that I've seen a female in WWE deliver a chokeslam. Seth Rollins and Becky Lynch countered that with a double suplex on the steel ramp.
Immediately after that, Becky hits another leg drop to Evans and Seth hits a beautiful frog splash. The height from that splash was absolutely and I don't wanna sound cliche but it was breathtaking.
After the couple retained their titles, out came Brock Lesnar and he cashed in his contract to win the Universal Championship for the third time. Well hey, at least he wasn't dumb enough and actually cashed in the right time. Oh, and I didn't mind the ending.
So, to recap for all of you slow mofos:
Like: Roman Reigns and Undertaker vs Shane McMahon and Drew McIntyre, Aleister Black vs Cesaro, The Revival vs The Usos, The Smackdown Live tag team title triple threat match.
Didn't like: Kevin Owens vs Dolph Ziggler, the pacing was a bit off this time for some odd reason, another nitpick but for a smart crowd they were disappointing for the most part.
