WWE RAW Before Wrestlemania 38 | A Coherent Review.

There it is. My 3rd time covering the RAW Before a Wrestlemania and like the previous years, it's pretty skippable and the reviews have the same amount of viewers as every lifetime movie on TV in that nobody watches or really cares about it.  And how was this week's episode of Monday Night RAW? To my surprise, it was pretty decent honestly.  Roman Reigns And Brock Lesnar exchanged a battle of the "I'm going to beat you at WrestleMania" line.  And who won that game? It's Brock obviously due to the way he said, "Welcome to Monday Night RAW" in the way only Lesnar can. Mike Rome looked at that and said, "I need to be the ring announcer that stepped up."  Both guys did a decent job of hyping this match and there's nothing to go further than that.  Akira Towaza gave a diamond ring to Tamina signalling a marriage of sorts (no sh*t, Omar) after they took down flippy Reg and his white friend. Cool.  Rey Mysterio vs The Miz.  Lucha Logan? More l

A Few News I Guess: RAW After Wrestlemania Will Be GREAT!?

Since this week's news was slower than the total box office revenue of Pluto Nash (until Saturday came in and said, "Well, you're wrong Omar because that excuse was sheer laziness"), I decided to showcase a few news, I guess?  Wrestlemania Plans For Bobby Lashley REVEALED!? Before he, unfortunately, sustained a shoulder injury, your guy, Bob, had some plans in place for the show of shows according to Fightful (6,000 patrons? SICK!) Select. That plan was facing the man with the in-ring skill of Giant Gonzalez as well as the promo skill of Curtis Axel ala 2011 NXT, Omos.  The idea of this bout screams "10-minute nap before the next match happens".  RAW After Wrestlemania Will Be GREAT!?  At least according to Cagesideseats and the show "will be booked in years past, with big surprises and returns on the show."  That was a lie because last year's RAW after WrestleMania was awful ( click here to read more ).  Quick Thoughts On Smackdown Yesterday

WWE RAW 21/3/22 | A Coherent Review.

We’re a few weeks till the so-called, “show of shows” and this has been by far, the weakest build I’ve ever covered. It’s so bad, I'll bet your "MyGm" playthrough in 2K22 had a better build.  And this episode proved my point. It isn’t the worst RAW I’ve seen but it’s definitely one of the most mediocre ones out there.  At least Veer is finally COMING! My man should talk to Sean Ross Sapp for a blue chew sample because it took him forever to come.  Kevin Baldwens!?  BOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO! THAT WAS AWFUL!  Owens, dressed as the rattlesnake himself, decided to mess with the audience by mocking Steve Austin (and no, it's not because Austin is apparently a fan of the Backstreet boys).  I will give Kevin credit here. He's trying to make this arc work but honestly, I'm not a fan of the execution mainly because the rivalry will lead to one big talk show segment at WrestleMania and NOTHING ELSE (could be wrong though).  Seth Rollins Wanted Styles To Take His Spot In F

A Few News I Guess: Cesaro Trademarked WHAT!?

Since this past week's news was as slow as the time it takes me to wake up every morning, I decided to showcase a few news, I guess?  A Name Change For A WWE SUPERSTAR!!? Elias has been, to quote Justin Timberlake, "dead and gone" for quite some time and it seems like the man with a "lead singer of a band" look, is getting a name change at least if you believe what Al Fightful Bin Select has to say.  In the report, it notes that Elias is getting a brand new character with vignettes being filmed for the *ugh* former 24/7 champion.  Fightful also stated that Elias will remain on the red brand with a name change being "pitched".  Cesaro Trademarked WHAT!?  My man Claudio looked at WWE after negotiations and said, "Nah, I'm good".  Last week, the man with only one singles match at WrestleMania in his decade tenure with the company, filed a trademark for the initial "CSRO" for the use of merchandise and his coffee goods as well as p

The 5 News Week: Peter Dune Now BUTCH!? WHY!?

Hello, my fellow wrestling fans and welcome to the 5 news week. The post where I report 5 major or minor pro wrestling news, rumours and spoilers of the week that I don't have time to do it separately. Without further ado, here are the 5 news week.  WWE Makes MORE CHANGES For WRESTLEMANIA!?  It's specifically related to the women's tag team championship and how instead of the match being a standard tag team match between Carmella, Zelina Vega, Sasha Banks and Naomi, the championship encounter will be a fatal four-way tag team match.  The reason being is that Liv Morgan and Rhea Ripley pinned the tag champs this past week's Monday Night BORE and Natalya "YEA, BABY" might be teaming up with either Shotzi or Shayna Baszler.  All of this came from the latest Observer Newsletter (from WrestlingInc ).  WWE loves their multi-person match so much, I'm surprised they didn't bring the fatal four-way PPV again.  Here's hoping Vinnie Mac doesn't change the

AEW Dynamite 9/3/22 | A Late Coherent Review.

Since this past week's Rampage episode is a go-home show for Revolution (aka an anarchist's favourite word besides the concept of not showering), imma just review Dynamite solely. And how was Dynoomitte!?  To the shock of no one besides that antismark, it was a pretty darn good show.  Inner Circle 2.0 This opening segment went from Chris Jericho and Eddie Kingston respecting each other to turning on Kingston as well as Santana and Ortiz to form an Inner Circle 2.0 with Daniel Garcia, the former Ever-Rise and Jack no Swag.  But what made this segment so special to me wasn't Chris' millionth heel turn but rather Eddie Kingston's promo. The way he tied his dialogue with his article was SO F**KING GOOD!  That man will always be a gem.  Hangman Page defeated Dante Martin For AEW Title To Which…………..  Out came Adam Cole and he basically did the "loss wasn't fair" cliche and challenged him to a 6 man tag team match, playas for next week's episode.  Later

The 5 News Week: AEW Revolution One Of The BEST PPVs EVER!?

Hello, my fellow wrestling fans and welcome to the 5 news week. The post where I report 5 major or minor pro wrestling news, rumours and spoilers of the week that I don't have time to do it separately. Without further ado, here are the 5 news week.  Why did Keith Lee JOIN AEW!? If you're an "e-drone" (God, that name is so bad, it makes Nikki Bella's "wished you died in the womb" line look award-winning by comparison), Keith Lee is sacrificing his dignity for leaving one corporation to another or something stupid.  For mofos that touched more grass than travel vloggers, I'll let the man himself state why in an interview with Bleacher Report (From Post Wrestling ):  "I think that it was quite a simple decision. Not only for business’ sake, but there’s a lot of people there that I know. And I have a lot of friends and associates that I’m just comfortable with. But more important than any of that was that I had a couple of very laid-back, chill mee

WWE Smackdown 4/3/22 | A Coherent Review.

Ronda Rousey made her Smackdown in-ring debut which is insane to think about. The fact that they actually maintained the integrity of the brand split.  How was the show this week? Like all of their programming as of late, it was aight.  Naomi vs Carmella.  This was meh. The so-called "most beautiful woman in all of WWE" lost with a moonsault to Naomi.  Not gonna lie, seeing both Naomi and Sasha Banks in the tag team sphere feels not only a random arc to book but it's also a creative demotion since they're capable of so much more.  Drew McIntyre vs Jinder Mahal.  Aka a match that they definitely thought about as their WWE championship match at last year's WrestleMania.  One former WWE champion delivered the claymore to another former WWE champion which led to Drew's victory. Coolinos.  The Viking Raiders vs The Usos For The Smackdown Tag Team Championship.  A pretty good tag team match, playas! The raiding guys were about to walk out of this episode as the tag

WWE RAW 28/2/22 | A Coherent Review.

Another week, another episode of Monday Night RAW aka a 2 hour podcast for an angry bearded white guy.  Kevin Owens and Seth Rollins spoke with Alpha Academy and………..  It led to a stunner from Kevin Owens to Chad Gable  I can't criticize the way Gable says thank you because after all, he's a chad.  The segment followed with a decent tag team match between two former rivals and the Academics.  And like their dating life, the Alphas took an L here.  This is the part where I would be mad at the tag champs getting pinned but those titles, as well as the entire tag division, are so meaningless, I don't have the energy to do so.  T-Bar vs Omos.  T-Bar lost a match and Omos can't wrestle for sh*ts. In other news, the colour of blood is red.  Bianca Belair, Rhea Ripley And Liv Morgan vs Becky Lynch, Doudrop And Nikki A.S.H.  Bianca once again proves that she owns all of the EST by leading her team to victory with the KOD on Nikki Ash Ketchum.  Tomasso Ciampa vs Robert Roode.  T
