THE Coherent AEW Take: Dax Harwood Cash Wheeler BEST AEW Dynamite Match EVER!?

AEW delivered a solid, enjoyable week of programming which that statement alone is as predictable as a distraction finish.  Rampage.  Highlights.  HOOK Said Something.  I know it's weird that a piece of dialogue is the only highlight of this episode but considering that Hook hasn't uttered a single word and his intimidation factor, made this scene pretty memorable.  Some Other Things That Happened.  Tomohiro Ishi lost to Adam Cole In The Owen Hart Foundation Tournament - Not gonna lie, seeing two performers from two different brands while Orange Cassidy and Rocky Romero were roaming around ringside felt like I was watching gameplay of WWE 2k because of how random this entire thing was.  Jade Cargill retained the TBS championship against Maria Shafir - that one-legged pin from Cargill into a leg bar from Shafir was *chef's kiss*.  Lance Archer DESTROYED Serpentico - Somebody check on Luther because his friend is getting destroyed and I'm not sure...

WWE RAW 25/4/22 | A Coherent Review.

We all have been saying "RAW Is Bore" for too long and now (at least for this week) it's "RAW Is Decent"?  Legacy Reunion Minus Ted Dibiase.  That was one part of the entire Randy Orton's 20th career anniversary aka the "superstars interrupting a champion" cliche but without the champion in question.  After Kevin Owens, Seth Rollins, Ezekiel and The Usos showed up to the ring, Adam Pearce decided to schedule an 8 man tag team match, playas!  That tag match (which was fun not gonna lie) saw the babyfaces in Cody Rhodes, Randal Keith, Riddal and "2022's Mr America '' Ezekiel as the winners of the bout.  Side note, why was The Usos talking about how they've watched Randy Orton as children like they haven't been with WWE for over 12 years (you know, the pre-career-threatening injury Edge)? Bianca Belair vs Sonya Deville For The RAW Women's Championship.  A match that I thought would happen two weeks from now but unsurprisin...

The 5 News Week: Why Did Kushida Leave WWE?

Hello, my fellow wrestling fans and welcome to the 5 news week. The post where I report 5 major or minor pro wrestling news, rumours and spoilers of the week that I don't have time to do it separately. Without further ado, here are the 5 news week.  Gangrel On Joining Edge's Faction.  Gangrel may not stop till he sees blood but something that he also wouldn't stop is wanting to be part of a group that stars Edge as a Far Cry 5 level cult leader minus the religiosity of it all.  Here's what he had to say about that in an interview with WrestlingInc :  "There’s no reunions, no talks, with Christian or Edge, Although it would be really cool to be with Damian Priest and Edge, that’s cool. I love how he’s got like a mixed Brood/Taker vibe with the raise of the chair and the fire. That was really cool. I am really happy for him, he’s a really good dude." Tony Khan Investigates In The BOTS!?  Tony Khan loves his top of the hour advertisements after a series...

WWE Smackdown 22/4/22 | A Coherent Review.

A beat the clock challenge was announced for next week's show involving Ronda Rousey and Charlotte Flair which only means one thing.  Wishing that I have a beat the clock challenge to check how long I can last watching mediocre television programming like this.  Ronda Rousey And Charlotte Flair's Contract Signing Ended In Chaos Because Of Course, It Did.  Headline's been spitting facts as of late. Also, my man Drew Gulak has been a punching bag for this feud and I feel sorry for the guy. A dude as talented as him deserves so much better.  Xavier Woods vs Butch.  A match so predictable, my autocorrect filled in the "Xavier Woods vs Butch" headline.  After the former Dune lost to Woods once again, he went ed unhinged as he took out a bunch of security guards. I mean, I would too if I was called Butch every week.  Ricochet got his challenge for his IC title. The same title that hasn't been defended on PPV since last year's WrestleMania.  That challen...

WWE RAW 18/4/22 | A Coherent Review.

How was Monday Night RAHHHHHH this week? It's the same old, "it's not great but better than last week".  Seth Rollins Was Like, "MY Wrestlemania Loss Against Cody Rhodes Was A Fluke."  Why? Because according to the man himself, Drippy Jesus wasn't prepared for a big comeback match so he proposed a rematch against the white savior in nature, Cody Rhodes on this very show and Cody responded with, "Yessir. Imma finna beat you a** my G".  The match didn't happen (a good decision on their end) so instead, Cody faced Kevin Owens (because Seth later pulled out of the match) and the bout itself ended via a count-out due to the fact that Owens basically said, "F it. I'm out."  Ever since Rollins lost against Cody, I knew we were getting a rematch. I just didn't expect Seth to portray as somewhat of a heel rather than a full-fledged one, ya know.  It's still the only feud that's worthy of my interest going into the Backlash ...

The 5 News Week: Paul Heyman Hall Of Fame Induction?

Hello, my fellow wrestling fans and welcome to the 5 news week. The post where I report 5 major or minor pro wrestling news, rumours and spoilers of the week that I don't have time to do it separately. Without further ado, here are the 5 news week.  NWA Referee Yali Sapphire On EmPowerr And The Knockouts Division.  The youngest in charge, Andrew Thompson recently spoke to pro wrestling referee Yali Sapphire (the only job where you get to take bumps harder than Eva Marie).   During the discussion, Thompson asked Sapphire about the empowerment she felt being part of NWA's all women's show, Empowerr (from Post Wrestling ):  "It was literally an empowering experience [NWA EmPowerrr] because right off the bat, Mickie [James] was so welcoming and so kind. Like she would speak to you as if you were a friend, like she had known you for years, so it was just mind-blowing, like oh my God. This woman that I saw as a kid was right here in front of me, she knows my name...

THE Coherent AEW Take: AEW kinda DISSAPOINTING!?

Sorry for not covering AEW for *looks at the archives* Since what it feels like the year 1456 AD.  Enough of the lame jokes and excuses, how did AEW do this week? Other than Wheeler Yuta stealing the show on the latest episode of Rampage, THE elite brand simply didn't deliver elite content. It was just kinda okay.  Rampage.  Highlights.  YUTAAAAAAAAAA!  We're not even in the middle of the month and already, we got a match of the year candidate. Wheeler walked out of this match as a legit main eventer that could possibly compete for the world title which I wouldn't mind.  It was so good, Moxley's mentor, William Regal shook Wheeler's hand out of respect (uh, I'd wash my hands faster than Wally West if I was Regal).  Sammy Guevara Nas Level ETHERED Dan Lambert's Misogyny And Wants That TNT Championship Too.  Based Sammy Guevara.  Oh, and Ethan Page can cut it both in promos and in m…..…………… (bro, it's Ramadan).  Some Other Things That Happ...
