WWE Smackdown 22/4/22 | A Coherent Review.

A beat the clock challenge was announced for next week's show involving Ronda Rousey and Charlotte Flair which only means one thing.

Wishing that I have a beat the clock challenge to check how long I can last watching mediocre television programming like this.

Ronda Rousey And Charlotte Flair's Contract Signing Ended In Chaos Because Of Course, It Did.

Headline's been spitting facts as of late. Also, my man Drew Gulak has been a punching bag for this feud and I feel sorry for the guy. A dude as talented as him deserves so much better.

Xavier Woods vs Butch.

A match so predictable, my autocorrect filled in the "Xavier Woods vs Butch" headline.

After the former Dune lost to Woods once again, he went ed unhinged as he took out a bunch of security guards. I mean, I would too if I was called Butch every week.

Ricochet got his challenge for his IC title. The same title that hasn't been defended on PPV since last year's WrestleMania.

That challenge is facing Shanky. F**king great! Absolute brilliant stuff.

Gunther vs Teddy Goodz.

Another week, another one-sided win for the Austrian destroyer in Gunther. Nothing too noteworthy happened here obviously.

Riddle wanted to "ease the tension" between Drew McIntyre and Randal Keith given the previous history (which was water under the bridge for them).

Meanwhile, someone I haven't seen in almost several months, Xia Li said that she'll protect herself now. And that took you THAT LONG to make that decision?

Riddle vs Jey Uso.

A decent match is all I'll say. Riddle won with the most devastating move in wrestling today, the roll-up after reversing the Uso splash.

Natalya And Shayna Baszler Wanted The Tag Titles That Are As Worthy As The 24/7 Championship.

Headline once again spitting facts.

Madcap Moss declined the offer to reunite with the not so Happy Corbin.

I'm not sure how I feel about Moss' laugh since it reminds me of some guy named Tucker that works for the most-watched news program in the US.

Moss did have a match with Angel Garza and after his victory, he took a fat beating from Corbin to which Corbin took Madcap's Andre The Giant trophy. Al Cool Bin Tamam.

After Sami Zayn basically snitched (or lied depending on your interpretation) on Roman Reigns regarding what Drew McIntyre said about the tribal chief, Lacey Evans had yet another promo segment talking about her childhood struggles and how she overcame them.

Not gonna lie, those white woman tears almost got me but I remember my lesson on how to deactivate my raccoon chip.

Sami Zayn Ran From Drew McIntyre During Their Lumberjack Match.

That didn't work for the guy as he's going to face McIntyre in a salad steel cage (which was already taped since next week's show isn't live).

You don't need spoilers to know how that cage match ended.

So, to recap for all of you slow mofos.

Like: I guess I like seeing Drew McIntyre more ways than one?

Didn't like: Wished I overslept to not witness this episode.

The 5 News Week: An NXT Segment Getting Some Backstage Praise!?

Hello, my fellow wrestling fans and welcome to the 5 news week. The post where I report 5 major or minor news of the week that I don't have time to do it separately. Without further ado, here are the 5 news week.  some pictures via WWE.com Stephanie McMahon One Of The Best Heels In The Attitude Era? Jim Ross Thinks So.  Jimmy Ross recently talked about the role Stephanie McMahon and whether she was "one of the best heels we had in the attitude era" (from sescoops ):  “I always believe she was one of the best heels that we had in the Attitude Era. Because she took so much after her dad.” Stephanie played as the spoiled rich daughter of an a*h*ole boss and that is a dish of easy heel heat.  Stephanie McMahon's spoiled brat type of heel moulded well with a vicious, opportunist of a bad guy that Triple H portrayed as during the era of the McMahon/Hemsley faction.  Without her constant presence on TV, A piece of Triple H's persona especially in the year 2000, would b...

A Brief Guide To Pro Wrestling Websites.

So. You just become a fan of pro wrestling and have dabbled into the fandom for a bit (it's a mess ain't it?) You've just followed some news sites' social media platforms but aren't sure whether the articles they put out are accurate or not.  Well, you got the right guy to solve that problem if it's from a blog that barely gets any traction (that would be me in case you were confused).  The news we get from the medium that is pro wrestling is an integral part of the online space.  The reason being is that it's not only a great conversation starter but you could also learn something new today about the industry you love.  That doesn't mean that all of the news you see on the timeline is reliable.  I'm here to hopefully give you a guide to wrestling sites.  There are many wrestling websites out there but I wanna highlight some of the notable ones.  Okay? Here we go.  #1: Wrestling Observer Newsletter aka F4WOnline.  I can't talk about a guide t...

The 5 News Week Look Back At Each Individual Highlight Of Zack Ryder, Lio Rush as Cruiserweight Championship, The Writer Behind The Otis And Mandy Rose Story.

April 15th, 2020 is a memorable day for me. It is definitely the saddest and noteworthy day of not only mine and the fans' lives but as well as the performers and staff who were affected by this. I am of course referring to the day that WWE released dozens of talented, hard-working people.  For those who are new, I usually report on the 5 major or minor news of the week and that was the original plan.  However, since this week is probably going to be known in the future for the releases, I want to instead document 5 of the performers and staff's individual highlights in their tenure with WWE.  Understand that without the hardworking wrestlers, producers, ring crew, writers and the rest of the staff doing what they do best, there wouldn't be a Playard Wrestling Post. Without further ado, Ladies and gentlemen, this is The 5 News Week Look Back.  How Zack Ryder's Popularity In 2011 Played A Role In WWE's YouTube Strategy Today.  It's hard to believe ...
