Fite TV Announces Fitefest.

Regardless of how the shows are good or not, we all can admit that Wrestlemania weekend is a big weekend and a great weekend for not only WWE but the entire wrestling landscape. Fite TV has made us wrestling fans easier to purchase PPVs and they took that to a whole new level. Fite TV gathered all the pro wrestling festivities (no pun intended) from April 3rd till 6th in one bundle called “Fitefest” and it includes (this is taken from their announcement):  Wednesday, April 3 8:30pm ET - WrestlePro Does Funny Money Thursday, April 4 4:00pm ET - Westside Extreme Wrestling 4:00pm ET - Destiny Wrestling 7:00pm ET - WrestleCon Supershow 8pm ET - DDT Pro Wrestling 11pm ET - IMPACT Wrestling - United We Stand 11:55pm ET - Kaiju Big Battel Friday, April 5 11:00am ET - WrestleCon US vs. The World 11am ET - SHIMMER 3:00pm ET - Rev Pro Wrestling 3:00pm ET - WWN Super Show - Mercury Rising 4:00pm ET - Stardom Japanese Women's Wrestling 8pm ET - J

WWE NXT 27/2/19 | My Coherent Review.

This is a great example of how the length time of NXT is too short because this show honestly was great and I do expect NXT to top this show because it's NXT and they know what they're doing.  Opening Segment.  The gold standard of pro wrestling aka NXT kicked off with the former North American champion Johnny Gargano coming out to the ring.  Johnny Gargano grabbed a microphone and he said that his match with the Velveteen Dream was one of his toughest. Johnny also said that he feels like Johnny champion with no championship on his waist.  Out came his former arch-enemy, Tommaso Ciampa and he said that the both of them as a duo are unstoppable and how they need each other. After that, Tommaso Ciampa offered Johnny Gargano to team up with him in the Dusty Rhodes Tag Team Classic to which Johnny Gargano accepted.  Short segment but to the point and it gives some direction to this storyline. This Dusty Rhodes Tag Team Classic hasn't been that star-studded

WWE Smackdown Live 26/2/19 | My Coherent Review.

This was overall an okay show that did a decent job at building some intrigued for what is a waste of a PPV in Fastlane. By the way, There's no women's match on this show which is rather odd.  Opening segment.  The show kicked off with Shane McMahon, Stephanie McMahon, Rowan and Daniel Bryan all in the ring for a contract signing which is rare that a contract signing actually starts a wrestling show. Shane McMahon then showed Kofi Kingston career highlights which led to Shane McMahon and Stephanie McMahon introducing Kofi Kingston.  Kofi Kingston cut a promo saying that he finally got a one on one WWE championship match after 11 years and he's gonna beat Daniel Bryan for that title. After that, Daniel Bryan signed the contract and Kofi was about to sign the contract but Vince McMahon randomly showed up.  Vince announced that he's replacing Kofi with the returning Kevin Owens. First, Vince screwed Becky Lynch and now he screwed Kofi Kingston. That's odd b

WWE RAW 25/2/19 | My Coherent Review.

This episode of RAW was pretty decent with things that I like as well as the things that I didn't like. Without further ado, here's an in-depth look as to why I feel this way.  Roman Reigns Has A Big Announcement. The show kicked off with the crowd giving Roman Reigns a standing ovation. Roman Reigns cut a promo basically saying that he appreciates the fans and how he's gonna use WWE as a platform to help and raise awareness for Leukaemia. Then he announced that he's in remission (awesome news) and thanked the fans once again. I'm so happy for the dude. Nothing but positives for me.  Aleister Black and Ricochet vs The Revival. This was a quick one. The team of Aleister Black and Ricochet won the match with the black mass. I know I'm nitpicking but The Revival hasn't won a match ever since their championship win and that's not you book a champion or in this case, champions.  Elias Concert But With An Interruption Part I Don't Know

The 5 News Week: RAW Tag Team Championship Belt Reportedly Getting A Redesign Plus So Much More.

Hello, my fellow wrestling fans and welcome to the 5 news week. The post where I report 5 major or minor news of the week that I don't have time to do it separately. Without further ado, here are the 5 news week. RAW Tag Team Championship Belt Reportedly Getting A Redesign.  Both the RAW and the Smackdown Live Tag Team Championships belt design looks like in need of a desperate makeover for years now and according to a report from Heel By Nature , a belt insider by the name of Belt Fan Dan (cool name by the way) said that WWE has contracted Dave McMillan to design the men's tag team titles for RAW and Smackdown.  Dave McMillan is the same person that designed the "penny"  tag team title belts and debuted it in 2010. The report also stated that the "penny" design was actually the design for the women's tag team championship but later WWE scrapped it because they didn't like it. Thank God. Fighting With My Family Movie Review.

Guys, I'm going to do something different and that's reviewing the new movie based on a true-life story called “Fighting with my Family”.  The premise tells an origin story of a young wrestler named Saraya-Jade Bevis or as we know her best as Paige (played by Florence Pugh) and she along with her brother Zak (played by Jack Lowden), have big wrestling ambitions to make it into the WWE or World Wrestling Entertainment.  They eventually got a WWE tryout at the O2 arena in London, England during an episode of Smackdown because of an audition tape her father Ricky Knight (played by Nick Frost), sent.  In that tryout, Paige was the only one that got accepted to got to Orlando, Florida and learn the WWE way of telling a story in the ring. Leaving Zak into a depressing state.  This movie reminds me of another comedy based on a true story called “Tag” in the sense that it’s heartwarming, humourous and kinda heroic.  Florence Pugh as Paige absolutely kills it in this role

WWE NXT 20/2/19 | My Coherent Review.

This episode of NXT TV was okay overall with a great main event and here's why.  Aleister Black vs Roderick Strong.  This show kicked off with a decent match. Aleister Black won the match with the black mass to Strong. After the match, the rest of the Undisputed Era came out with a 2 on 1 assault to Black. That led to Ricochet coming out to Aleister’s rescue.  After that, a backstage segment happened where Shayna Baszler and her gang were arguing with half of the women's division in the locker room.  This announcement has me excited because the Dusty Rhodes Tag Team Classic tournament is coming back in two weeks. The first 4 teams that are competing in this tournament on NXT TV two weeks from now are The Forgotten Sons, Undisputed Era, Street Profits and the team of Fabian Aichner and Marcel Barthel. The final 4 teams will be announced next week on NXT.  Mia Yim vs Xia Li.  Not a fan of this match to be honest. It's not terrible but it was boring. Aft

WWE Smackdown Live 19/2/19 | My Coherent Review.

This show was overall, a skippable show just like RAW yesterday and here's why.  Opening segment.  The show kicked off with Shane McMahon with his usual cheap pop. After that, Shane McMahon announced that Aleister Black, Johnny Gargano, Ricochet and Tommaso Ciampa will be on SmackDown Live just like RAW last night (click here to read my RAW review).  Out came The Miz and he said that he hasn't stop thinking about their match at Elimination Chamber. Miz also said he admitted that he used Shane because Miz wanted to make Shane McMahon understand where's Miz's coming from.  Miz then wanted a rematch between him, Shane McMahon and the Usos for the SmackDown Live tag team championship to which the Usos came out and insulted The Miz.  That led to Shane McMahon saying that the rematch is on but at Fastlane in two weeks. So we got the first official match scheduled for Fastlane and considering that Shane is a McMahon and has all the Authority, I don't

WWE RAW 18/2/19 | My Coherent Review.

The NXT calls up made this show a bit better but overall, this show was not only forgettable but as well as it was a visual Nyquil.   Opening segment.  This show started off with Triple H and cut a promo basically saying that history was made last night and also talked about DX being inducted into the WWE hall of fame (congrats to them).  After that, Triple H announced two things. One, 5 NXT talents will be in action tonight and showed a great video package highlighting those men. They are Ricochet, Aleister Black, Johnny Gargano and Tommaso Ciampa. Two, a tables match between Braun Strowman and Baron Corbin (sigh).  I don't know if that's an official call up but considering that WWE hasn't done pretty anything with the other NXT call ups, I'm not optimistic about how WWE creative books them in the near future.  Braun Strowman vs Baron Corbin in a tables match.  Braun Strowman won the match with a running powerslam through a table. Seriously, en
