WWE RAW 25/2/19 | My Coherent Review.

This episode of RAW was pretty decent with things that I like as well as the things that I didn't like. Without further ado, here's an in-depth look as to why I feel this way.

Roman Reigns Has A Big Announcement.

Reigns thanks the WWE Universe and tells them he has missed them.
The show kicked off with the crowd giving Roman Reigns a standing ovation. Roman Reigns cut a promo basically saying that he appreciates the fans and how he's gonna use WWE as a platform to help and raise awareness for Leukaemia. Then he announced that he's in remission (awesome news) and thanked the fans once again. I'm so happy for the dude. Nothing but positives for me.

Aleister Black and Ricochet vs The Revival.

This was a quick one. The team of Aleister Black and Ricochet won the match with the black mass. I know I'm nitpicking but The Revival hasn't won a match ever since their championship win and that's not you book a champion or in this case, champions.

Elias Concert But With An Interruption Part I Don't Know What Number.

The Living Truth is upset that Ambrose interrupted his performance, and he takes a few shots at Atlanta.
Elias was interrupted by Lacy Evans and then Dean Ambrose interrupted Elias. Dean Ambrose said that he wants a rematch between him and Drew McIntyre but in a no DQ match. After a back and forth between those two men, Dean Ambrose delivered Elias with the Dirty Deeds. This was a decent segment surprisingly and I really liked how Dean Ambrose named Dirty Deeds as a song.

Ronda Rousey and Natalya vs The Riott Squad.

Raw Women’s Champion Ronda Rousey demands Mr. McMahon come to the ring!
The match ended in a DQ because Becky Lynch came out from the crowd which led to WWE officials and the Atlanta PD separating both women. After that, Ronda Rousey called out Vince McMahon and her daughter showed up. Stephanie McMahon said that it's not easy because Becky Lynch isn't professional and she's not on the road to Wrestlemania but she's on the road to jail.

Ronda Rousey replied by saying that she wants Becky Lynch NOW and it's time for Vince McMahon to make the right decision which led to Ronda putting her championship belt on the middle of the ring. I like this segment and I liked how Ronda put the powers that be in a tough position to book a big female Wrestlemania match for the RAW Women's championship. That gave me a reason to watch next week's show and that's a good thing.

Kurt Angle vs Jinder Mahal.

WWE Photo
Kurt Angle won the match with the Anklelock to Jinder Mahal. Whatever.

A Moment Of Bliss.

WWE Photo
After Alexa Bliss said that Ronda Rousey is basically unprofessional, Finn Balor came out and Alexa wanted Balor to show off his abs. Out came Lio Rush and Rush said that he doesn't deserve the championship. That led to Finn Balor challenging Lio Rush to a match for Finn’s intercontinental championship and Lio Rush accepted it. What's with Alexa Bliss flirting with somebody these days? First, it's EC3 not it's Finn Balor? It's weird but it is what it is.

Finn Balor vs Lio Rush for the Intercontinental championship.

Decent match. Finn Balor retained his championship with the coup de grace.

After that, a backstage segment happened between The Ascension and Heavy Machinery and basically, The Ascension were making fun of Otis’ weight. If I wrote this segment, I would've had Tucker Knight say something about how he forgot that The Ascension are employed which that's exactly what I thought when I saw them in this.

Bobby Lashley vs Braun Strowman.

WWE Photo
This match has not happened considering that Bobby Lashley hits Strowman during his entrance. Then Braun Strowman put both Bobby Lashley and Lio Rush down.

Drew McIntyre vs Dean Ambrose in a no DQ match.

WWE Photo
Well, that was a quick match for a no DQ match. Drew McIntyre won the match with the claymore kick. After the match, Baron Corbin, Bobby Lashley, Elias and Drew Mcintyre were beating up on Dean Ambrose. Minutes later, Seth Rollins and Roman Reigns came out to help Dean Ambrose and evened the odds. It's great that Roman Reigns is doing what he does best in the ring.

Bayley vs Nia Jax.

WWE Photo
This was a boring match, to be honest. Bayley won the match with the Elbow drop.

Ric Flair's 70th Birthday celebration.

WWE Photo
Triple H and Stephanie McMahon came out to the ring while the rest of the WWE superstars were on the stage area. Hunter and McMahon introduced Shawn Michaels, Ricky Steamboat, Kurt Angle, Sting and the birthday boy himself Ric Flair but he didn't show up because Batista beat the old man up. I honestly thought that this segment was going to be used for the Becky Lynch storyline but that was a fine replacement. That was a good way to end Monday Night RAW. In other words, I'm intrigued. Welcome back, Batista.

So, to recap for all of you slow mofos:

Like: the ending to both the Ronda Rousey vs Riott match and the Ric Flair's 70th Birthday celebration, Roman Reigns' Announcement.

Didn’t like: Bayley vs Nia Jax, The Revival losing for the third week in a row.

My Coherent Wrestling Wednesdays: Three Big Returns, A Great Inaugural Women's Championship Match.

If you have been a fan of this site since January, then you'll know that I've completely rebooted my review process and now, I'm doing that again.  Don't worry, the format for my RAW, Smackdown and PPV reviews will still be the same but not on Wednesdays. So, here it is, My Coherent Wrestling Wednesdays.  NXT The Highlights. Adam Cole vs Matt Riddle For The NXT Championship.  A match that opened this episode of the yellow brand, the original bro and the leader of The Undisputed Era tore the house down.  Whether it's Cole reversing the fireman's carry from Riddle into a backstabber, Cole hitting a Panama sunrise twice, a floating bro or the crowd chanting "Adam Cole, bro", it was a visual statement by NXT that the yellow brand is THE brand to watch.  Unfortunately,  Riddle felt short and ate the last shot but there was another highlight I wanna talk about….. Finn Balor Returns To N. X. T.  It's not a typo my friends, Finn ...

WWE Wrestlemania 26 | A Coherent Review.

I've teased a mystery review on my Facebook page (which you can click here to follow us) and that mystery has now been unveiled. It's Wrestlemania 26. This review was delayed and was supposed to be up last Monday but at least is now up. Also, The first draft of this review was 7 pages long so strap in. By far, the longest review on this very website.  I thought it would be fitting to review a Wrestlemania from a decade back and how do I feel about it? It was a show that if you watched it, you're most likely going to have a good time. It was a mix of great things but terrible things at the same time as most shows.  The 26th edition of Wrestlemania took place in the University of Phoenix Stadium in the Phoenix suburb of Glendale, Arizona on March 28th, 2010.  The commentators were Micheal Cole, Jerry Lawler and Matt Striker. Honestly, Striker was pretty good and a far better colour commentator than Lawler was on this show (even today, Lawler is still bleh on commen...
