The episode itself was decent but some of the RAW draft picks (which that's what the superstar shakeup should be called, a DRAFT) were questionable.  Opening segment.  The first night of the superstar shake-up started off with Stephanie McMahon. After that, Steph introduced her brother Shane McMahon and he was just being a douchebag to Mike Rome and the Montreal crowd with chants of “You suck”.  Minutes later, The Miz from behind came out and hits Shane McMahon with series of punches and grabbed a chair for some chair shots which that's exactly what he did. The segment ended with Shane McMahon retreated. Hello, my fellow wrestling fans and welcome to the 5 news week. The post where I report 5 major or minor news of the week that I don't have time to do it separately. Without further ado, here are the 5 news week. Toni Storm Going To Do Stardom Shows In May.  We're starting and ending this week of 5 news week with minor news because the news has been kinda slow for the most part. Toni Storm who's currently part of NXT UK, is set to work Stardom shows on May 3 till 6 at their Shinkiba 1st ring shows and the 16th of May show at Korakuen Hall.  Toni Storm obviously made a name of herself at the Stardom promotion so it's great for Stardom fans to witness a great wrestler in Toni Storm once again. Just like Monday Night RAW, this was an okay episode and now thinking about it, I feel like this is just WWE creative’s way to put stuff out so that they could refill their creative juices you know what I mean?  Opening segment.  The show started off with the new WWE champion, Kofi Kingston along with the rest of the members of the New Day in Big E and Xavier Woods.  They then talked about what happened last night on RAW including the split that Big E did and how Xavier Woods meeting Kingston back in 2014 was Woods’ honour. Kofi Kingston said that this moment wasn't supposed to happen but here he is and thanked his family for being the best version of himself.  The Bar came out with “shut the fuck up” chants and they proposed a 6 man tag team match in the main event between The New Day, The Bar and Drew McIntyre from Monday Night RAW to which The New Day accepted. Overall, this was an okay episode of Monday Night RAW but it could've been so much better.  Opening segment.  The RAW after WrestleMania kicked off with the new Universal champion, Seth Rollins. After the crowd chanted “you deserve it” to Seth Rollins, Rollins replied by saying “we deserve it”. Minutes after that, Seth Rollins told Brock Lesnar that Brock should stay in Las Vegas and Seth Rollins is gonna be a defending champion.  Out came The New Day (yes, The New Day) and they said that The New Day can't wait for Tuesday because Kofi proposed a winner take all match for the WWE and the Universal Championships tonight and Seth Rollins accepted the challenge. I'm really confused about this segment but maybe I'm over thinking about this. What's gonna happen with the main championships after this? Strap in folks because this review is gonna be twice as long as my two recent essays combined which you can click here and here to read those essays. Now, was this show great? I wouldn't go that far but it was a pretty good Wrestlemania in my humble opinion. Now I've not seen the pre-show matches simply because I haven't seen it.  The main show after Yolanda Adams sang "American The Beautiful", kicked off with Alexa Bliss and she basically snapped her fingers so that she can get a Wrestlemania moment. That led to Hulk Hogan appearing on stage and he called Metlife stadium “the silver dome” intentionally of course. Hogan ended the promo by using his usual catchphrase. All the controversies aside, it was nice to see Hulk Hogan back at a stage that he’s familiar with and that’s Money In The Bank I mean, Wrestlemania.  After that, a pissed off Paul Heyman came out and he said that if the Brock Lesnar vs Seth Rollins match is not on last then this match mig...

My second Takeover review on this very blog so far and no shocker, it's great. Watch it if you haven't already. War Raiders vs Aleister Black and Ricochet for the NXT Tag Team Championship. Minutes after the match has begun, both teams were going back and forth with reversals which was entertaining to watch. So many noteworthy moments in this match like when Hanson delivered a Swanton bomb to Aleister Black and Rowe onto the outside and immediately after that, Ricochet did a corkscrew moonsault of some sort from the top rope to Rowe and Hanson. The match ended with The War Raiders delivered the Fallout to Ricochet and just like that, they retained their tag team championship. After the match, The War Raiders showed some respect to Aleister Black and Ricochet. Then, Black and Ricochet thanked the audience in New York. What a great opening and that ending was even better.
