WWE Smackdown Live 9/4/19 | My Coherent Review.

Just like Monday Night RAW, this was an okay episode and now thinking about it, I feel like this is just WWE creative’s way to put stuff out so that they could refill their creative juices you know what I mean?

Opening segment.

The show started off with the new WWE champion, Kofi Kingston along with the rest of the members of the New Day in Big E and Xavier Woods.

They then talked about what happened last night on RAW including the split that Big E did and how Xavier Woods meeting Kingston back in 2014 was Woods’ honour. Kofi Kingston said that this moment wasn't supposed to happen but here he is and thanked his family for being the best version of himself.

The Bar came out with “shut the fuck up” chants and they proposed a 6 man tag team match in the main event between The New Day, The Bar and Drew McIntyre from Monday Night RAW to which The New Day accepted. An odd choice for Drew to appear on SmackDown Live but it is what it is. Overall a decent segment.

Aleister Black, Ricochet and Ali vs Rusev, Shinsuke Nakamura and Andrade.

The first 6 man tag match of the night and it was okay. The team of Aleister Black, Ricochet and Ali won the match with the 450 splash from Ali which led to an RKO outta nowhere from Randy Orton to Ali and a stunner from Kevin Owens to Rusev. Weird but I like it.

R Truth And Carmella Recaps Wrestlemania 35.

WrestleMania Women's Battle Royal winner Carmella remembers cashing in her Money in the Bank contract to become SmackDown Women̢۪s Champion.
You read the title right. That's exactly what they did until the United States champion Samoa Joe came out and put the inventor of the 5 seconds dance break to sleep. Braun Strowman from Monday Night RAW came out and they went back and forth until Joe retreated. Did the superstar shake-up came early or what?

The IIconics’ Women's Championship Open Challenge.

Local jobbers aka The Brooklyn Bells answered the challenge and it’s pretty disappointing but from a kayfabe perspective, it's smart that they're defending their championships against teams that bring no threat to them if that makes sense and technically if they do this then they are defending champions. The IIconcis obviously retained their championships with a double team manoeuvre I don't know but looked impressive.

Shane McMahon promo time.

Shane tells Greg Hamilton to get into the ring with him, and he thinks Greg̢۪s introduction was a little lacking tonight.
McMahon talked about how the WWE universe whats to see him beat The Miz and how he hits George Mizanin aka Mr Miz's potato face. Shane then called out Greg Hamilton to announced Shane McMahon’s name with conviction. This was okay.

After that, they played the same video back on RAW last night where a crocodile looking puppet was laughing in a dark background which I realize that's Bray Wyatt. I felt so dumb when I said that it's Mojo Rawley.

The Usos vs The Hardy Boyz for the SmackDown Live Tag Team Championship.

WWE Photo
This was a pretty good match. During the match, Jeff reversed the whisper in the wind from Jey Uso and instead did a whisper in the wind of his own. Hardy Boyz won the match with the championships with The Swanton Bomb and then Lars Sullivan came out and destroyed the new tag team champions. Like I said on my RAW review (which you can click here to read it), Lars Sullivan should be on the blue brand considering that RAW has a lot of big dudes.

Becky Lynch Talks About Her Big Victory Two Nights Ago.

Becky knows she̢۪s holding two big targets, and she promises to pull double duty after the Superstar Shake-up.
Becky Lynch cut a promo about her brawl with Lacy Evans on RAW last night. Becky Lynch ended the promo by saying that she welcomes all comers, all challengers. Minutes after she cut her promo, Lacy Evans hits Becky with the woman's right. Short but an okay promo from Becky Lynch.

The New Day vs The Bar and Drew McIntyre.

Before the match happened, Sami Zayn came out and simply said that this is not worth it. Okay? The match itself was okay. The New Day won the match with the trouble in paradise to Sheamus.

So, to recap for all of you slow mofos:

Like: The Usos vs The Hardy Boyz, the ending of the Aleister Black, Ricochet and Ali vs Rusev, Shinsuke Nakamura and Andrade match.

Didn't like: Sami Zayn coming out basically saying nothing before the main event.

For the fans reading this, don't expect an NXT review tomorrow because the NXT after a Takeover is usually a skippable show. Might post a superstar shake up predictions tomorrow. AEW Dynamite Blood And Guts | A Coherent Review.

Another watchable episode of AEW Dynamite but this time, it features the first-ever Blood And Guts encounter. Kenny Omega And Michael Nakazawa vs Jon Moxley And Eddie Kingston.  Don Callis announced that Michael Nakazawa is going to face Mox and Kingston all by himself only for Kenny Omega to show up and compete in the match anyway.  A weird booking choice but I'm just nitpicking.  What wasn't weird was how the match ended with a double team dragon suplex into a clothesline from the duo of Mox and Kingston to Nakazawa.  Then, a beatdown ensued from Omega's Posse to Jonny Mox and Eddie Kingston. The Young Bucks vs Jon Moxley and Eddie Kingston? I'm down.  It was revealed later in the night that a number one contenders match for the AEW championship is set up for next week's show between Orange Cassidy and Pac. I'm assuming AEW is saving the Hangman Page and Kenny Omega encounter for All Out?  Either way, AEW has the potential to tell an interesting story of ...

WWE RAW 5/10/20 | A Coherent Review.

I have not said this in a RAW review in a very long time but the show as a whole was straight up dogsh*t awful.  It's so bad that I didn't like one ounce about this program.  pictures via wwe.com Randy Orton Remembers His Match At Clash Of Champions.  The show started off with Randy Orton recalling certain aspects about the WWE championship match at Clash Of Champions.  Orton goes on to say that Drew doesn't deserve the championship because the legends interfered in the ambulance match.  The promo ended with Orton bringing up the fact that he beat up four legends last week on RAW (again, explain the physics behind this?).  Drew showed up and he laid waste on the guy.  Randy has been quite exceptional in the dialogue department but this ain't it.  The promo actually put me to sleep and the show didn't even hit 10 minutes up until that point.  If they suddenly end the rivalry like nothing happened, while it doesn't make sense, I'm all for it be...

WWE NXT UK Takeover: Cardiff | My Coherent Review.

via WWE I don't watch or review the first NXT UK Takeover for some odd reason but I'm so glad I did because that was like the main NXT Takeovers, was absolutely great to watch. I'm just speechless and if you have watched the show then you'll know why (also, if you somehow didn't watch this show, what are you doing? Go and treat yourself with some wrestling goodness.) Noam Dar vs Travis Banks.  A very enjoyable opening match. Noam Dar proves that he's great at what he does with so many submission holes because if you don't know, I'm a technical wrestling connoisseur. Noam Dar won the match with a standing shining wizard.  Cesaro vs Ilja Dragunov. Always great to see Cesaro do what he does best and that's a fight inside the square circle. So, Ilja called out Cesaro because Cesaro's looking for an open challenge and Cesaro obviously picked his challenger.  The Swiss Cyborg started off this match by throwing Dragunov to the outside ...
