The 5 News Week: Dean Ambrose Not Finished With WWE Quite Yet, Smackdown Live To Switch Channels Due To A NHL Game.

Hello, my fellow wrestling fans and welcome to the 5 news week. The post where I report 5 major or minor news of the week that I don't have time to do it separately. Without further ado, here are the 5 news week.

Toni Storm Going To Do Stardom Shows In May.

We're starting and ending this week of 5 news week with minor news because the news has been kinda slow for the most part. Toni Storm who's currently part of NXT UK, is set to work Stardom shows on May 3 till 6 at their Shinkiba 1st ring shows and the 16th of May show at Korakuen Hall.

Toni Storm obviously made a name of herself at the Stardom promotion so it's great for Stardom fans to witness a great wrestler in Toni Storm once again. Click here to read the full schedule from Wrestling With Demons.

Dean Ambrose Not Finished With WWE Quite Yet.

If you think that Dean Ambrose is done with WWE after that amazing RAW off the air send off, think twice because he's not done with WWE yet until his contract expires later this month. He's scheduled for some live events in St Louis, MO, Springfield, IL and Moline, IL.

He's for some reason advertised for RAW this coming week which wrestlingnews.co and moi agree that he'll likely not be on RAW in a storyline capacity but anything is possible in the world of professional wrestling.

Smackdown Live To Switch Channels Due To A NHL Game.

To all my canucks reading this, Smackdown Live will not air on Sportsnet 360 but rather it will air on OLNHD due to the NHL playoffs happening this coming Tuesday according to Mike Johnson over at PWinsider.

Dakota Kai Ran For The First Time Since Her Knee Injury.

Great news for me and to all the Dakota Kai fans out there. If you're under the loop, she has been sidelined with a double knee injury since December in a live event and now she tweeted about how she ran for the first time since her injury and quote:

"Ran today for the first time since my injury.. things are happening! #TheComeback #TEAMKICK"

Edge Looks Back At His Retirement 8 Years Ago.

Edge. Arguably the greatest wrestler of all time recently took to Twitter about his retirement speech 8 Years ago (can't believe it's been that long):
I remember watching that speech in my early teens and like a lot of people, I didn't have dry eyes. What a career that man had.

And that's it for this week of the 5 news week. Not the best week for big wrestling news besides the Sasha Banks story which you can click here to read my good friend Kevin Carroll’s article about that. Anyways, let me know what do you think about the news I just reported and stay safe smarks.

AEW Dynamite Blood And Guts | A Coherent Review.

Another watchable episode of AEW Dynamite but this time, it features the first-ever Blood And Guts encounter. Kenny Omega And Michael Nakazawa vs Jon Moxley And Eddie Kingston.  Don Callis announced that Michael Nakazawa is going to face Mox and Kingston all by himself only for Kenny Omega to show up and compete in the match anyway.  A weird booking choice but I'm just nitpicking.  What wasn't weird was how the match ended with a double team dragon suplex into a clothesline from the duo of Mox and Kingston to Nakazawa.  Then, a beatdown ensued from Omega's Posse to Jonny Mox and Eddie Kingston. The Young Bucks vs Jon Moxley and Eddie Kingston? I'm down.  It was revealed later in the night that a number one contenders match for the AEW championship is set up for next week's show between Orange Cassidy and Pac. I'm assuming AEW is saving the Hangman Page and Kenny Omega encounter for All Out?  Either way, AEW has the potential to tell an interesting story of ...

WWE RAW 5/10/20 | A Coherent Review.

I have not said this in a RAW review in a very long time but the show as a whole was straight up dogsh*t awful.  It's so bad that I didn't like one ounce about this program.  pictures via wwe.com Randy Orton Remembers His Match At Clash Of Champions.  The show started off with Randy Orton recalling certain aspects about the WWE championship match at Clash Of Champions.  Orton goes on to say that Drew doesn't deserve the championship because the legends interfered in the ambulance match.  The promo ended with Orton bringing up the fact that he beat up four legends last week on RAW (again, explain the physics behind this?).  Drew showed up and he laid waste on the guy.  Randy has been quite exceptional in the dialogue department but this ain't it.  The promo actually put me to sleep and the show didn't even hit 10 minutes up until that point.  If they suddenly end the rivalry like nothing happened, while it doesn't make sense, I'm all for it be...

WWE NXT UK Takeover: Cardiff | My Coherent Review.

via WWE I don't watch or review the first NXT UK Takeover for some odd reason but I'm so glad I did because that was like the main NXT Takeovers, was absolutely great to watch. I'm just speechless and if you have watched the show then you'll know why (also, if you somehow didn't watch this show, what are you doing? Go and treat yourself with some wrestling goodness.) Noam Dar vs Travis Banks.  A very enjoyable opening match. Noam Dar proves that he's great at what he does with so many submission holes because if you don't know, I'm a technical wrestling connoisseur. Noam Dar won the match with a standing shining wizard.  Cesaro vs Ilja Dragunov. Always great to see Cesaro do what he does best and that's a fight inside the square circle. So, Ilja called out Cesaro because Cesaro's looking for an open challenge and Cesaro obviously picked his challenger.  The Swiss Cyborg started off this match by throwing Dragunov to the outside ...
