WWE RAW 15/4/19 Aka The Superstar Shakeup Night 1 | My Coherent Review.

The episode itself was decent but some of the RAW draft picks (which that's what the superstar shakeup should be called, a DRAFT) were questionable.

Opening segment.

WWE Photo
The first night of the superstar shake-up started off with Stephanie McMahon. After that, Steph introduced her brother Shane McMahon and he was just being a douchebag to Mike Rome and the Montreal crowd with chants of “You suck”.

Minutes later, The Miz from behind came out and hits Shane McMahon with series of punches and grabbed a chair for some chair shots which that's exactly what he did. The segment ended with Shane McMahon retreated. Not a fan of The Miz being on RAW, to be honest considering that he still has a LOT to offer on the blue brand but hopefully, The Miz could do that on the red brand.

Aleister Black, Ricochet, Zack Ryder and Curt Hawkins vs The Revival and War Raiders.

WWE Photo
You read the last part of the title right. Not only War Raiders are on RAW but they are a victim of a name change (while not having the NXT tag team championships). Well, a tag team name change in this case.

They're now called “The Viking Experience”. I don't know but War Raiders sounds MUCHHHHHHHHHHH better to me. Another great example of a name change that's not needed but nevertheless, the match was actually decent. The Viking Experience and The Revival won the match with the Fallout to Zack Ryder.

After that, they announced that Cedric Alexander is coming to Monday Night RAW. Nows that a RAW pick I like so far.

Finn Balor vs The Next RAW pick.

WWE Photo
The next RAW pick is EL IDOLO. Yes, Andrade and Zelina Vega are on RAW which I don't mind because other than his matches with Rey Mysterio, Andrade hasn't done anything significant on SmackDown Live but I hope that they DON'T mess this up but this is RAW after all. However, the match was good and the finish was even better. Andrade won the match with the hammerlock DDT to Balor.

Elias Concert Time.

Elias claims his music is so powerful that it brought back The Dr. of Thuganomics John Cena and The Undertaker to the ring.
In his concert, he talked about how he doesn't know what The Undertaker and John Cena see in Elias. He then went on how Canada didn't make into the playoffs which made the Montreal crowd boo the crap out of Elias similar to what he did back in Seattle last year.

Out came Rey Mysterio and he beat up Elias which led to Lars Sullivan coming out and hits Rey with the freak accident. I was about to go on a rant about why I didn't like Rey Mysterio moving over to RAW but Lars Sullivan coming out COMPLETELY changed my mind. I don't mind Lars Sullivan on RAW as long as Braun Strowman is on SmackDown Live

Bobby Roode and Chad Gable vs The Next RAW pick.

WWE Photo
Before Bobby Roode cut his promo, the production guys made an oopse and put The Usos name on the RAW name graphic which minutes later, The Usos came out anyways. The Usos obviously won the match with the double splash Samoan style to Chad Gable.

Moment of Bliss. Special Guest, Sami Zayn.

WWE Photo
Zayn came out with a standing ovation because he is on Montreal after all. The production guys in the back then played his theme song again, again basically he was playing with the crowd. He did what any other heel does when they're on the hometown and that's crapping on their hometown. After Alexa Bliss defended the crowd, Zayn decided to leave. I don't know man. Not a fan of this character because it feels too similar to Daniel Bryan's character and his motivations you know what I mean? But my mind could change. Segment overall was meh at best.

The IIconcis vs Bayley and The Next RAW pick (Naomi).

WWE Photo
The match ended pretty quickly. Naomi won the match with a modified moonsault to Billie Kay. The question is, How long until Naomi sits on catering doing nothing noteworthy?

Braun Strowman vs EC3.

WWE Photo
The match hasn't even started because Braun absolutely destroyed the top one per cent and chokeslammed EC3 through the table near the stage area and that table is not the announce table (No shit, Omar). Who did EC3 piss off to get that much punishment in his main roster run so far?

Becky Lynch vs Ruby Riott.

Decent match. Becky Lynch won the match with the disarmher. Then, Natalya came out to congratulate the champ champ and challenged her for the RAW Women's championship. Becky Lynch basically accepted the challenge and Lacy Evans came out.

She was informed by the McMahon’s that Lacy Evans will face Natalya and the winner will get a RAW Women's championship opportunity right now. Lacy Evans won the match with a good looking moonsault to Natalya.

Seth Rollins, Roman Reigns and the last RAW pick vs Bobby Lashley, Drew McIntyre and Baron Corbin.

WWE Photo
Before this, there was a video played in a dark background with a dollhouse, toys moving and a human-sized doll sitting on a rocking chair. Creppy. Anyways, The last RAW pick for this episode of RAW is the phenomenal one, A. J. Styles. The match was a take it or leave it kinda match to me. The babyface team won the match with the phenomenal forearm to Bobby Lashley.

So, to recap the show and the RAW picks for all of you slow mofos:

Like: Andrade vs Finn Balor.

Didn't like: Sami Zayn as a heel so far, the name change for The Wars Raiders (The Viking Experience).

Now, onto the RAW picks:

Andrade, The Miz, Rey Mysterio, Lars Sullivan, The Viking Experience, Eric Young (why?), Naomi, Lacy Evans, Aleister Black, Ricochet, The Usos and AJ Styles.

WrestleFest DXB's Fahrenheit 971 | A Coherent W.

Being a fan of pro wrestling (or any other medium of entertainment) does have its pros and cons when engaging with the industry as a whole.  On one hand, you've witnessed an Eddie Kingston promo that'll make you tear up more than the opening scene of Up.  On the other hand, going to the wrestling subreddit will definitely have you questioning humanity as a whole and the fact that living in an area where a wrestling presence pretty much doesn't exist like a Vince Russo-written storyline that is, you know, GOOD!?  Luckily, the latter retracted my con as a fan because I'm talking about Wrestlefest DXB and their latest joint, "971 Fahrenheit".  Martin Bushby of now Post Wrestling Alumni brought the event to my attention because like a wrestler on an episode of RAW I get distracted all the time.  So, I decided to take a short journey to a taxi then a bus then a train then a 30-minute walk to the show itself and I know I'm going to sound biased as f**k but I l...

WWE Wrestlemania 26 | A Coherent Review.

I've teased a mystery review on my Facebook page (which you can click here to follow us) and that mystery has now been unveiled. It's Wrestlemania 26. This review was delayed and was supposed to be up last Monday but at least is now up. Also, The first draft of this review was 7 pages long so strap in. By far, the longest review on this very website.  I thought it would be fitting to review a Wrestlemania from a decade back and how do I feel about it? It was a show that if you watched it, you're most likely going to have a good time. It was a mix of great things but terrible things at the same time as most shows.  The 26th edition of Wrestlemania took place in the University of Phoenix Stadium in the Phoenix suburb of Glendale, Arizona on March 28th, 2010.  The commentators were Micheal Cole, Jerry Lawler and Matt Striker. Honestly, Striker was pretty good and a far better colour commentator than Lawler was on this show (even today, Lawler is still bleh on commen...

WWE SummerSlam 2019 | My Coherent Review.

Did the SummerSlam 2019 edition deliver or did it underperformed? I would say it did deliver but it wasn't a home run. It was a good show with one unforgettable SummerSlam moment which I will get to.  You guys know where I'm going with this, I haven't seen the pre-show matches for reasons I've stated many times in my wrestling reviews but if you're new, I was asleep during Summerslam because it aired at 2am my time so yeah. Now, on with the review.  Becky Lynch vs Natalya for the RAW Women's Championship.  I know it's minor but holy crap, pyro is back and probably not for long. It wasn't that long ago that the RAW and SmackDown women's championships were the main event at a big PPV and now one of those titles is opening WWE's second-biggest PPV of the year. Not that I have a problem with that but rather it's interesting to bring up.  Anywho, the match itself did deliver from a technical wrestling geek's perspective. Natalya ab...
