WWE Wrestlemania 35 | My Coherent Review.

Strap in folks because this review is gonna be twice as long as my two recent essays combined which you can click here and here to read those essays. Now, was this show great? I wouldn't go that far but it was a pretty good Wrestlemania in my humble opinion. Now I've not seen the pre-show matches simply because I haven't seen it.

The main show after Yolanda Adams sang "American The Beautiful", kicked off with Alexa Bliss and she basically snapped her fingers so that she can get a Wrestlemania moment. That led to Hulk Hogan appearing on stage and he called Metlife stadium “the silver dome” intentionally of course. Hogan ended the promo by using his usual catchphrase. All the controversies aside, it was nice to see Hulk Hogan back at a stage that he’s familiar with and that’s Money In The Bank I mean, Wrestlemania.

After that, a pissed off Paul Heyman came out and he said that if the Brock Lesnar vs Seth Rollins match is not on last then this match might as well open the show and that's exactly what happened.

Seth Rollins vs Brock Lesnar for the Universal Championship.

WWE Photo
That entrance from Seth Rollins was great but Brock Lesnar interrupted that and wasted no time to beat the crap out of him before the match started. After the beating Seth Rollins took from Brock, the match has finally started and it was probably not the best opening match I've seen but it was a shocking moment because Seth Rollins won the match and the championship with two stomps.

AJ Styles vs Randy Orton.

WWE Photo
First things first, it's great to hear Jerry Lawler voice on commentary again. Second things second (Really Omar? second things second?), this was decent. Randy had great ring awareness in this match like how he reversed a calf crusher the first time Styles tried to do it.

Minutes later, Randy hits Styles with an RKO but Styles kicked out of 2. The match ended with AJ delivered the phenomenal forearm to Randy and The Phenomenal One won the match. Not a fan of the finish considering that the match could've gone a bit longer but again, it was decent.

The Usos vs The Bar vs Aleister Black and Ricochet vs Rusev and Nakamura for the SmackDown Live Tag Team Championship.

This was a fun tag team match. Man, Ricochet, as usual, is so impressive in any match I see him and this match is no exception. However, his team couldn't win the championship because The Usos won the match with the double splash, Samoan style to Sheamus.

The Miz vs Shane McMahon. Falls count anywhere match.

When Shane-O-Mac goes to the top rope, Miz's dad steps in.
At one point, Shane tried to teach Miz’s Father how to pose his fists for fighting and that moment made me laugh so hard considering that Shane has the worst punches I've seen in ages. Minutes later, The Miz absolutely put a mugging on Shane McMahon near the crowd area. The match ended with The Miz delivered a suplex on top of something to a covered long wooden object and an unconscious Shane McMahon pinned Miz and just like that, Shane won the match.

I'm disappointed that Miz’s Father didn't slap the shit out of Shane McMahon but nevertheless, this match was good in my opinion. Is this feud gonna continue? Will have to wait for the SmackDown Live after mania to find out.

Sasha Banks and Bayley vs Nia Jax and Tamina vs Beth Phoenix and Natalya (Divas of Doom) vs The IIconics for the WWE Women's Tag Team Championship.

This was a nothing match but that ending was not bad. After Beth hits Bayley with the glam slam from the top rope, Peyton Royce pushed Phoenix to the outside and Billie Kay pinned Bayley which led to them winning the WWE Women's Tag Team Championship for the first time ever.

To be honest, I don't mind this victory for some reason and I can't figure it out why because I do not like The IIconics as a duo whatsoever. Who knows, I may or may not like their reign as champions.

Daniel Bryan vs Kofi Kingston for the WWE Championship.

Kingston is ready to risk it all to capture the WWE Title.
I really, really, really, really, really enjoyed this match. So many near falls but the last one was special. Minutes after Bryan hits him with the running knee, Kofi Kingston delivered Bryan with trouble in paradise and became WWE Champion.

I cannot believe this actually happened and I have nothing and I mean NOTHING but positive things about this. Congratulations to Kofi Kingston. A very well deserved victory.

After that, the guys over at Saturday Night Live got checked in the WWE trainers room by Scott Hall and Kevin Nash dressed as doctors.

Samoa Joe vs Rey Mysterio for the United States championship.

WWE Photo
Well, that match ended quick. Samoa Joe retained his championship with the Kokina Clutch. Disappointed but at least that made Samoa Joe look like a monster heel champion.

Roman Reigns vs Drew McIntyre.

WWE Photo
This was Meh. Nothing really special about this match. Roman Reigns won the match with the almighty spear.

Elias Concert.

Elias begins his long-awaited performance at WrestleMania.
In this Wrestlemania edition of Elias Concert, he had himself play the drums, the piano and the guitar not at the same time of course. The drums and the piano, however, was played in the titantron while Elias was playing the guitar inside the ring (which was really impressive to watch).

After that, there was a video played in the titantron and in it, it was a baseball game from the 60s which led to John Cena coming out with his doctor of thuganomics theme song playing in the background. John Cena then absolutely destroyed Elias verbally and physically with the FU.

That was a great segment I'm not gonna lie and what a creative way to use John Cena in this capacity. By far the best Elias Concert segment ever.

Triple H vs Batista. No Hold Barred match and if Triple H loses then his career is over.

WWE Photo
This ain't Wrestlemania without a big Triple H entrance and he as always delivers. A brutal match at times but overall, it was a very slow match. The man with three H’s won the match with a second Pedigree. Now, Hunter can wrestle a few times a year once again. YAY!

Kurt Angle vs Baron Corbin. Kurt Angle’s farewell match.

WWE Photo
If this is how WWE wants to end Kurt Angle’s career then I'm beyond disappointed. After Baron Corbin won the match with the end of days (yawn), Kurt Angle thanked the fans and played his music with you suck chants one last time as an active performer. The ending was great and Kurt surprisingly looked decent in the match but man, this storyline needed a payoff.

Finn Balor vs Bobby Lashley for the Intercontinental championship.

WWE Photo
That spear from Bobby Lashley to Finn Balor onto the outside looked absolutely devastating during this match. The match was okay. Finn Balor won the match with coup de grace.

After Alexa Bliss announced the attendance record of 82,265 fans, Alexa Bliss called out R Truth and Carmella so that they could do a 7 seconds dance break.

Ronda Rousey vs Becky Lynch vs Charlotte Flair for the RAW and the Smackdown Live Women's championships. Winner takes all.

WWE Photo
A very good main event but with an odd ending. Rousey was going for a armbar but Becky Lynch reversed it into a crucifix pin and just like that, Becky Lynch won both the SmackDown Live and the RAW Women's championship. I'm really glad that Becky won a women's championship for the third time. Should be interesting as to how WWE books the women's division moving forward.

So, to recap for all of you slow mofos:

Like: Ronda Rousey vs Becky Lynch vs Charlotte Flair for the RAW and the Smackdown Live Women's championships. Winner takes all, Elias Concert, Samoa Joe made to look like a destroyer in his title defence, Daniel Bryan vs Kofi Kingston for the WWE Championship, The Miz vs Shane McMahon. Falls count anywhere match, The Usos vs The Bar vs Aleister Black and Ricochet vs Rusev and Nakamura for the SmackDown Live Tag Team Championship, the ending to the Kurt Angle vs Baron Corbin match.

Didn't like: Kurt Angle vs Baron Corbin. Kurt Angle’s farewell match.

WWE Smackdown Live 28/8/18 | My Coherent Review.

Overall, Smackdown Live was better than RAW in terms of having a somewhat good ending. Why you ask? Well, I'm gonna give you what's good, what's ok and the bad parts about this show were none in my opinion. Without further ado, this is my coherent, honest review of this week's Smackdown Live.  WHAT'S GOOD    New day's celebration  You have the new day celebration with their interaction with booker T and the addition of the spinaroonie or the spinaroonie, in this case, was entertaining and an odd but amusing opening segment.  Daniel Bryan vs Andrade "Cien" almas   Daniel Bryan's promo with Brie Bella by his side was like the Naomi vs Billie Kay match, it was there. However, the match itself was pretty good in my opinion. That chop by almas looked brutal bro like damn. Daniel Bryan wins Via DQ by miz beating him, almas hitting the hammerlock DDT, Maryse hitting a brutal looking DDT to brie bella and then miz hitting the skull cru

WWE Smackdown 14/2/20 | My Coherent Review.

Last night was my 2nd anniversary of pumping out written content on this site and I thought since this show has delivered 6 or sometimes 3 out of 10s for 4 months now, I've written some lyrics about my thoughts on Smackdown in the style of the current song opening for the blue brand.  If you wanna put the instrumental version of ACDC's Are You Ready while reading this then that's cool too.  *Cue the intro* Are you Ready?  Are you ready for mediocrity! Then, get ready for disappointment.  No one needs it.  No one needs it.  No one needs it.   Even Bischoff.  Are you ready for mediocrity! *ends with some guitar solos*.  The lyrics may suck but it is at least better than whatever the hell Justin Bieber meant when he sang his current single "Yummy".  Now, on with the review. The Return Of A Moment Of Bliss (Unlike The Return Of The Dirt Sheets, Nobody Really Cares).  Both Bliss and Nikki Cross talked about their c

WWE RAW 6/7/20 | A Coherent Review.

This episode of RAW actually made me look forward to Extreme Rules and that's something WWE doesn't do all that well in recent years. It was a great effort by the powers that be.  Dolph Ziggler Picks The Stipulation For The WWE Championship At Extreme Rules: The Horror Show.  McIntyre is waiting for Dolph Ziggler to pick the stipulation for their championship match at Extreme Rules.  Drew got his wish as Dolph Ziggler said that Drew has been stabbing people in the back and that includes the person that Ziggler brought up but not verbally, Heath Slater.  In a very emotional promo, Slater told his former 3MB mate that he was there for Drew McIntyre when Drew was fired from WWE in 2014 but the Scotsmen wasn't there for Slater when he was fired this year.  So, the one-man-band challenged him to a match and the WWE champion accepted. How was the match?  It was a squash bout. Drew wins with the claymore to which Ziggler was picking on Heath and Mc
