WWE PayBack 2020 | A Coherent Review.

This PPV was 2 and a half hours long and you know what? I appreciate that. That doesn't mean the show was epic of all proportions or something along those lines. But, I can't say that I hated this PPV because I had a good time overall.  Also, I've not seen the pre-show match so I can't give my thoughts on it.  pictures via WWE.com Apollo Crews vs Bobby Lashley For The United States Championship. Not the greatest opening match of all time but it was really fun.  Lashley threw Apollo on the ring post which obviously looked brutal to watch. Bobby then nailed the dominator and Crews kicked out after Bobby tried to pin him. Unfortunately, Crews didn't get out of the full Nelson submission and he tapped out of that move as a result. Because of it, Bobby Lashley is a two time United States champion. Then, Apollo Crews attacked Bobby for a bit but as soon as the rest of the Hurt Business showed up, Crews got away. I don't mind a rematc

The 5 News Week: The Adam Cole vs Pat McAfee Match Wasn't Rehearsed!?, When's Jimmy Uso Coming Back??

Hello, my fellow wrestling fans and welcome to the 5 news week.  The post where I report 5 major or minor news of the week that I don't have time to do it separately. Without further ado, here are the 5 news week. pictures via WWE.com The Adam Cole vs Pat McAfee Match Wasn't Rehearsed!?  This past week saw a match at Takeover that was great.  The surprising part was that it involved a pre-show host by the name of Pat McAfee AND the fact that it wasn't rehearsed.  At least, that's what it is reported.  Earlier in the week, Wrestling Observer Radio and Dave Meltzer (from Cagesideseats ) said that the reason why the bout wasn't rehearsed is that quote:  "Just went in there and did it because they knew Pat was good and they know Adam is great." Something really interesting to put out in the side, in an interview with ESPN , McAfee talked about how he perfectly nailed the Swanton during his bout with Adam Cole:  "Jeff Hardy

WWE Smackdown 28/8/20 | A Coherent Review.

Before I start this review, I wanna say, rest in peace Chadwick Boseman.  Your strength and your passion is inspiring, humbling and most importantly, memorable.  Wakanda forever.  I also want to send my condolences to Scott Armstrong and his family including Road Dogg because their dad, Bob Armstrong passed away.  A guy that has wrestled since the 60s all the way till last year. Rest easy Bob Armstrong.  If there's one thing we've learned from this is that It doesn't hurt to say "I love you" to people you care about.  Now, how was Smackdown?  It was really underwhelming. Full of uninteresting things that happened in this episode.  pictures via WWE.com The show started off with WWE producer Adam Pearce telling security to stop everything Retribution.  Then, Pearce met with Vince McMahon and the chairman of the board gave Adam a mission. That mission is to have Roman Reigns, Bray Wyatt and Braun Strowman's signatu

AEW Thursday Night Dynamite | A Bit Late Coherent Review.

Fridays are my day off and while this is my hobby, I treat this site as work given the articles I put out and the amount of research that goes into those articles.  With that being said, what do I think about AEW Dynamite Thursday edition?  It wasn't as good as the Saturday episode however, it was at least somewhat tolerable to watch.  In other words, it was okay.  A Tag Team Gauntlet Match To Determine The Number One Contenders For The AEW World Tag Team Championship.  Look, I see the fans not practising social distancing despite wearing masks.  However, I would be lying if I didn't get a kick out of the fans singing Chris Jericho's theme song again.  Anywho, the entire thing was solid.  The Young Bucks got rid of Dusty Rhodes and QT Marshall but they can't get rid of Best Friends due to one man, Hangman Adam Page.  The possible falling out of the elite is something I gotta keep an eye on.  I'm curious as to where this leads

WWE NXT 26/8/20 | A Coherent Review.

The yellow brand came back swinging because this show was guud.  The main reason was mostly due to the in-ring action and a great return.  Wade Barrett made his WWE return in the commentary desk and he was superb in his  role.  pictures via WWE.com Karrion Kross Does What?? So, Kross separated his shoulder during the NXT title match against Keith at Takeover 30 (which you can click here to read the Takeover review).  Kross pretty much said in his promo that he has to relinquish the title but he'll get that title back.  It sucks that Kross has to give up the title given that he's at his A-game right now.  But, with disappointment comes some hope.  Because, later in the night, NXT general manager, William Regal announced that a match for the NXT championship will happen next week.  The match is a fatal four-way match but get this, it is going to be a 60-minute iron man 4-way bout.  The four men competing are Adam Cole, Finn B

WWE RAW 24/8/20 | A Bit Late Coherent Review.

Monday Night RAW is going back. By that, I mean, back to back dull episodes.  By the way, I'm not going to write about everything that happened on this show but rather the things that were eye-opening.  The reason being is that the show wasn't engaging as a whole.  pictures via WWE.com Drew McIntyre Opens The Show.  He indeed did and in it, a promo was cut pretty much saying that he's ready for new challenges but if he encounters Randy Orton again, unlike SummerSlam, he will kick his head off.  Speaking of the viper, Orton attacked McIntyre from THE behind as the champion was in the entrance stage area.  The beating continued in the gorilla position and the segment ended with a punt kick from Randy Orton.  By far, the best thing about this show. Started off hot and it stayed that way until the very next segment.  Keith Lee Debuts On RAW But With A Twist??  Keith Lee interrupted a Randy Orton in-ring promo.  Lee came out with a terrible theme
