WWE RAW 30/3/20 | A Coherent Review.

God damn, what a night. WWE has from my perspective, killed all opinions of needing a promo with a live audience. By the way, sorry for the lack of pictures. WWE has a limit amount of them on its website.  Now, you're hearing from the commentary that Wrestlemania 36 is available for PPV pre-order which WWE hasn't acknowledged on television regarding buying their shows on PPV like ever.  I just got a notification from the folks over at Fite TV that you can buy the show on their platform which is huge for Fite TV. Did I do that? Hell Nah because I got the network duh?  The Undertaker Sends Styles An Ultimatum.  The show started off with the most real I've seen from the Deadman since the Big Evil/American Badass days. He tells Styles that for a small man named Allen Jones, he sure does have a big mouth.  Taker also mentioned that AJ can't last with the likes of Stone Cold Steve Austin, The Rock, Shawn Michaels, Triple H, Booker T, Edge and many of the goats of t

The 5 News Week: WWE Upset At The Brodie Lee Segment!?, Vince McMahon Assumes Fans Leave Certain Plot Holes!?

Hello, my fellow wrestling fans and welcome to the 5 news week. The post where I report 5 major or minor news of the week that I don't have time to do it separately. Without further ado, here are the 5 news week.  WWE Upset At The Brodie Lee Segment!?  On last week's edition of this very series, I talked about how the reveal of the exalted one, Brodie Lee was the original plan to lead the dark squad . Well, we got a different Brodie Lee story in the form of WWE angry at a particular segment.  So, what was the segment? If you haven't watched this past week's AEW Dynamite episode then basically, Brodie Lee had dinner with his followers in Alex Reynolds and John Silver.  The main highlight of this segment was when Lee was upset at John Silver for eating the steak before him among other things that angered him such as when Sliver sneezed and Lee was absolutely livid. So, why would WWE be angry at a wrestling segment from another pro wrestling company?  The

WWE Smackdown 27/3/20 | My Coherent Review.

via WWE A good episode of Friday night Smackdown that did a good job on furthering the storylines from the blue brand side of things for Wrestlemania.  Look, I've expressed my displeasure for Smackdown whether it's a series of lame jokes of mine or just stating the reason why for months.  However, I feel like Smackdown has improved with baby steps as of late. Maybe that's due to Wrestlemania being right around the corner but whatever the creative team is doing, they should do it more.  Bayley And Sasha Address The SmackDown Women's Championship Match At Wrestlemania.  The SmackDown women's champion, Bayley and Sasha Banks talked about how their road to Wrestlemania is a nightmare as they're facing each other among other opponents they have to deal with.   Out came Lacey Evans then Naomi and they basically said that they'll become Smackdown women's champion.  Tamina showed up and she said that action speaks louder than words a

The Coherent Wrestling Wednesdays: Triple H Addresses The Johnny Gargano And Tommaso Ciampa Saga, Matt Hardy Confronts Chris Jericho.

I gotta put my resident WWE shill hat on because NXT this week won me over this week. Dynamite, however, was aight. Not bad but not as good as last week's edition.  NXT    Highlights. Triple H Addresses The Johnny Gargano And Tommaso Ciampa Saga.  Out came Hunter to call out Tommaso Ciampa and Johnny Gargano to the ring. After that, Triple H promised both men that they'll fight each other in a bigger stage but Gargano doesn't want to wait that long so Hunter asked him how long do Tommaso Ciampa and Johnny Gargano would like their bout to take place? Gargano replied, "two weeks".  Triple H announced that he'll find a place with a ring and a ref but he wants this feud to end otherwise both men don't have to worry about who's the heart and soul of NXT. Oh, and a camera shot of the "world ending" video packages we've seen on the titantron revealed as Killer Kross.  That ending was random but nevertheless, the segment was grea

WWE RAW 23/3/20 | A Coherent Review.

A good episode from the red brand. This year's road to Wrestlemania doesn't feel like it however, I will give WWE some credit for at least trying to put on a build for us to be intrigued by in a global pandemic right now. Will see how next week's go home turns put which happens to be a filmed episode.  Brock Lesnar' Advocate Gives The World A Certainty.  Paul Heyman in a promo puts over Drew McIntyre as a fighter but he warns the Scotsmen that Drew cannot beat the beast, Brock Lesnar.  Heyman also said that Lesnar will not only make the beating quick but as well as it is not going to be painless and ends the promo by saying that Drew will be like everybody else once Brock Lesnar defeats Drew McIntyre.  An effective segment to start off this episode and at least, Heyman didn't show a video package after they showed up in the ring so that's a positive right there. But, they did an identical promo video before that segment and it didn't b

The 5 News Week: Eve Torres On Why She Left WWE, Wrestlemania 36 To Lose Over $20 Million!?

Hello, my fellow wrestling fans and welcome to the 5 news week. The post where I report 5 major or minor news of the week that I don't have time to do it separately.  This week felt like a month when it comes to news so let’s talk about what’s going on. Without further ado, here are the 5 news week.  Wrestlemania 36 To Lose Over $20 Million!? The entertainment industry could lose over $20 billion dollars and WWE is one of those entities especially pertaining Wrestlemania and it's business.  From Wrestlenomics , The host of the show, Brandon Thruston dives into WWE financials yet again (because that's the theme of the show duh?) and finds out that this year's Wrestlemania could lose around $20 million. Here's what the host Brandon Thurston had to say regarding the situation (that episode is a week old so excuse the outdated saying):  "Let's say the 65,000 paid at an average ticket price so let's go with last year's average ticket price

The Coherent Wrestling Wednesdays: The Exalted One Arrives And A Certain Broken One Emerges.

This is the coherent wrestling Wednesdays where I usually give you my thoughts on NXT and AEW but since NXT was literally a highlight reel, I'm only going to talk about the latest edition of AEW Dynamite. So, how did TNT's only wrestling show do this week?  Going into this show, I was afraid of how this episode will turn out because unlike WWE, they don't have a huge library of matches to fill  2 hours of programming.  But after witnessing this show, AEW did a fantastic job of executing the episode with an empty crowd. They put WWE to shame on how to air a wrestling TV show with no crowd and this is coming from the resident WWE shill.  Highlights.  Cody And His Elite Buddies Address Their Match At Blood And Guts.  The American nightmare starts off this episode of Dynamite in an empty area with a great promo about social distancing, Tony Khan his upcoming blood and guts match and his fellow Elite member, Nick Jackson.  Speaking of The Elite, out came the other
