WWE Smackdown Live 29/1/19 | My Coherent Review.

Look, I'm just gonna get this out of the way. Smackdown Live was a disappointing show and here's why.  Opening segment.  The show started off with Becky Lynch coming out to the ring. Becky Lynch grabbed the microphone with a smile on her face and she said that unlike Ronda, she doesn't crumble when she loses.  Becky Lynch also said that she's not ashamed of build herself from nothing and proud that she went from being on the pre-show of WrestleMania last year to main eventing this year's Wrestlemania. The crowd then chanted "you deserve it" and minutes after that, Charlotte came out.  The queen said that she's proud for her friend/rival Bex. Charlotte also said that she's the reason that Becky is what she is today. After that, Becky Lynch hits her with a forearm which led to a brawl between Becky and Charlotte. Overall a decent segment in my opinion.  R truth vs Shinsuke Nakamura for the United States championship. Before the...

WWE RAW 28/1/19 | My Coherent Review.

This episode of Monday Night RAW was a very good show with one memorable moment and here's why.   Opening Segment.  Monday night RAW started off with Seth Rollins coming out to ring with a standing ovation. He then cut a promo basically saying that his love and his passion made him win the Royal Rumble match which led to the crowd chanting “You deserve it”.  After Seth made his decision to take his time to think about which champion he’s facing at Wrestlemania, Out came Triple H and Hunter said that Seth has to make his decision tonight. Out came Dean Ambrose and Dean said that Triple H doesn’t believe in you, Dean does.  Triple replied by saying that Dean believes in the same person that backstabbed him the night that his other brother relinquished his championship to fight leukaemia. Dean then waits to face Seth to which Hunter accepted. Overall a good segment.  Seth Rollins vs Dean Ambrose.  Decent match. During th...

WWE Royal Rumble 2019 | My Coherent Review.

Royal Rumble 2019. Was it all that good? The answer is nope. Wasn't awful, it just made some booking mistakes or as I like it to call it, They've made some booking holes (this joke is as clever as WWE's booking these days). Without further ado, on with the review.   PRESHOW: Rusev vs Shinsuke Nakamura for the United States Championship.  The match itself was decent but Nakamura’s win made Rusev’s title reign a complete waste of air time at this point. Like why Rusev capture the US title only for a month later for Nakamura to get the championship right back? Makes no sense to me.  Speaking of a complete waste of time. The creative team decided to pair Scott Dawson and Rezar (because Akam got injured and recently had knee surgery) to face Bobby Roode and Chad Gable for the RAW tag team championship only for Dawson and Rezar to lose the match. Gotta love WWE's “creativity”.  Buddy Murphy vs Hideo Itami vs Kalisto vs Akira Tozawa for the Cruiserwe...

NXT Takeover Phoenix | My Coherent Review.

NXT Takeover was a great show with great wrestling, energetic crowd and intriguing storytelling (OMG, REALLY? I didn’t know that).  War Raiders vs The Undisputed Era (Kyle O’ Reilly and Roderick Strong) for the NXT Tag Team Championship.  First off, cool entrance by War Raiders. Secondly, the match was entertaining. At one point, Strong did a superplex to Hanson. The match ended with War Raiders delivered the Fallout to Kyle O ‘Reilly and won the match. War Raiders are the new NXT Tag Team Champions deservedly so.  Matt Riddle vs Kassius Ohno. During the match, Ohno hit Riddle right on his mouth which absolutely looked brutal. Minutes after that, Riddle hits Ohno with series of elbow strikes which made Ohno tap out and won the match. A very unique finish but nevertheless, this was a decent match.  Johnny Gargano vs Ricochet for the NXT North American Championship.  Those guys put on the absolute clinic of a wrestling match. But that ending ...

Lets Talk About The Ronda Rousey Leaving WWE Reports.

Alright. So yesterday, I was scrolling down my Twitter timeline and saw headlines from a bunch of the wrestling news sites that basically says "Ronda Rousey Reportedly Leaving WWE After Wrestlemania". That got my attention and I clicked on one of the articles on my timeline. After that, I read other articles on that same story.  The ones that I've read all used the same quote from Dave Meltzer in his recent Observer Newsletter which is "very good chance" meaning that there's a higher chance that she could leave WWE after Wrestlemania 35. Don't know why their headlines were different than Dave's quote which is the reason why I'm writing this but I'll continue.    Ryan Satin over at Pro Wrestling Sheet said that Ronda Rousey taking a break to start a family is part of her contract but it's not set in stone yet. A spokesperson in WWE told TMZ  that " Ronda Rousey is under contract with WWE until April 10, 2021. Whether she ...

WWE Smackdown Live 22/1/19 | My Coherent Review.

The Smackdown Live episode before the Royal Rumble was pretty good. However, it did things that I like and did one thing that I didn’t like. I will try to shorten my reviews from now on because looking at my reviews, it feels like I’m writing a mini novel.  Opening segment.  Becky Lynch was on the ring and she cut a promo basically saying that Asuka took her title without pinning her clean and Becky is confident that she will take her title back this Sunday.  Asuka then approached to the ring without saying a word until Charlotte Flair came out and basically said that she’s going to win the Rumble. That led to a sneak attack from Asuka which led to a brawl between Asuka and Becky. I get that they wanna set up a brawl between Asuka and Becky but the sneak attack made no sense to me.  Naomi vs Mandy Rose.   After the distraction, Mandy Rose pinned Naomi to the cut of three and won the match. Match itself was fine.  The Miz vs Cesar...

RUMOUR: Dolph Ziggler Done With WWE?

Holy crap, so many reports of wrestlers possibly leaving WWE. Anyways, according to Mike Johnson over at PWInsider , the show off is done with WWE. He, by the way, was given a producer role but turned down that offer and also wasn't at WWE's live events in recent weeks. Ziggler is expected to be on a comedy tour soon and his sources claim that Dolph's contract expires on 31/1.   What do I think of this? I feel like he's done pretty much everything with WWE and if this is official, I wouldn't be mad about it.  What do you guys think of this? Put your opinions and perspectives in the comments below and follow the blog for honest pro wrestling opinions. Anyways, stay safe smarks.

RUMOUR: Mike And Maria Kanellis Wanted A Release From WWE?

Mike and Maria Kanellis haven't been utilized to their fullest potential and according to Ryan Satin from Pro Wrestling Sheet , The couple requested WWE officials a release from their contracts because of that. Mike Kanellis started to sell new shirts from Pro Wrestling Tees which by the way, is rarely been implemented by other WWE superstars. At least to my knowledge.  What do I think of this? Just by watching his motivational videos, Mike looks happy and focused in his life. But, it is Interesting to see how this and the Revival reports play out.  What do you guys think? Let me know in the comments below and follow the blog for honest pro wrestling opinions. Anyways, stay safe smarks.

WWE NXT 16/1/19 | My Coherent Review.

My first ever NXT TV review and I have to say…. this was an okay episode and here’s why.  The street Profits vs The Metro Brothers (aka Deuce and Domino look like). This was a quick one. After Street Profits victory over The Metro Brothers, the forgotten brothers beat both Angelo Dawkins and Montez ford with funny crowds chants like “we forgot you” and “ you still suck”.  Backstage interview with Matt Riddle conducted by Cathy Kelly and Riddle said that his friend (Keith Lee) will teach Kassius ohno a lesson. After that, Aleister Black cut a promo basically saying that he wants to start the fight early. Which means that they're gonna have a face to face interaction on next week's episode. Should be interesting.  Bianca Belair and Shayna Baszler face to face confrontation.  Bianca was on the ring, grabbed a microphone and basically said that 2019 will be her year and she got 20/20 when it comes to the NXT Women's championship. Shayna Baszler...
