Lets Talk About The Ronda Rousey Leaving WWE Reports.

Alright. So yesterday, I was scrolling down my Twitter timeline and saw headlines from a bunch of the wrestling news sites that basically says "Ronda Rousey Reportedly Leaving WWE After Wrestlemania". That got my attention and I clicked on one of the articles on my timeline. After that, I read other articles on that same story.

The ones that I've read all used the same quote from Dave Meltzer in his recent Observer Newsletter which is "very good chance" meaning that there's a higher chance that she could leave WWE after Wrestlemania 35. Don't know why their headlines were different than Dave's quote which is the reason why I'm writing this but I'll continue.

Ryan Satin over at Pro Wrestling Sheet said that Ronda Rousey taking a break to start a family is part of her contract but it's not set in stone yet. A spokesperson in WWE told TMZ that "Ronda Rousey is under contract with WWE until April 10, 2021. Whether she wants to start a family is a private matter.

Now, what did we learn from this? Well, first of all, TMZ is more credible than half of the wrestling news sites. Second of all, this is a good example of how some pro wrestling sites mislead their readers and I've admittedly made that mistake before when I write news articles. Moral of the story, ALWAYS when you read a news report, check who's the source of it. The fact that I see some people doing that on Twitter is a pretty encouraging sign.

WrestleFest DXB's Fahrenheit 971 | A Coherent W.

Being a fan of pro wrestling (or any other medium of entertainment) does have its pros and cons when engaging with the industry as a whole.  On one hand, you've witnessed an Eddie Kingston promo that'll make you tear up more than the opening scene of Up.  On the other hand, going to the wrestling subreddit will definitely have you questioning humanity as a whole and the fact that living in an area where a wrestling presence pretty much doesn't exist like a Vince Russo-written storyline that is, you know, GOOD!?  Luckily, the latter retracted my con as a fan because I'm talking about Wrestlefest DXB and their latest joint, "971 Fahrenheit".  Martin Bushby of now Post Wrestling Alumni brought the event to my attention because like a wrestler on an episode of RAW I get distracted all the time.  So, I decided to take a short journey to a taxi then a bus then a train then a 30-minute walk to the show itself and I know I'm going to sound biased as f**k but I l...

WWE Smackdown 14/1/22 | A Coherent Review.

WOAH, WOOOOOAH *Insert drums* BURN IT DOWN *insert more drums* Don't know why I just quoted Seth Rollins' theme song. Probably because I'm bored and have nothing else better to do on a Saturday afternoon (which explains the Smackdown review).  Now, how was the show? It was aight.  The Viking Raiders vs Angel And Humberto Carrillo vs Jinder Mahal And Shank vs Mansoor And Cesaro. Winner Gets A Blue Tag Belt Opportunity.  The best part about all of this was The Usos introduction of all 4 members. Gotta say, they're pretty natural at this and wouldn't mind them doing ring announcing full time.  The only thing they should avoid is threatening somebody with WWE lawyers.  The Viking Raiders won the whole thing and all I can say is, finally! No more Viking Raiders vs Happy Corbin and Madcap Moss matches.  Why WWE Be Messing With Sami Like That!?  That "InZayn" stunt show is sad to watch. He should've been doing so much better than trying to do knockoff Jacka**...

WWE RAW 17/6/19 | My Coherent Review.

Gotta be honest, I wasn't looking forward to Stomping Ground this coming Sunday but this episode actually did its job to build a bit of excitement for this PPV. I mean, I'm gonna watch that PPV regardless but it's really a good feeling when you get a pretty good RAW episode going into a PPV that I don't care for all that much. Elias Concert.  As you can tell from reading the title, this show started off with an Elias concert. The quote "greatest musical act in history" was crapping on Los Angeles and revealed that he's the special guest referee for the Universal Championship at Stomping Ground.  Seth Rollins came out and hits Elias with a steel chair. Rollins ended the segment by cutting a promo saying that he's warning anybody that wants to be a special guest referee that he's gonna get a steel chair shot on the back. This was okay. Short but decent.  The Miz vs Bobby Lashley vs Ricochet vs Cesaro vs Braun Strowman. Winner Faces Sam...
