NXT Takeover Phoenix | My Coherent Review.

NXT Takeover was a great show with great wrestling, energetic crowd and intriguing storytelling (OMG, REALLY? I didn’t know that).

War Raiders vs The Undisputed Era (Kyle O’ Reilly and Roderick Strong) for the NXT Tag Team Championship.

First off, cool entrance by War Raiders. Secondly, the match was entertaining. At one point, Strong did a superplex to Hanson. The match ended with War Raiders delivered the Fallout to Kyle O ‘Reilly and won the match. War Raiders are the new NXT Tag Team Champions deservedly so.

Matt Riddle vs Kassius Ohno.

During the match, Ohno hit Riddle right on his mouth which absolutely looked brutal. Minutes after that, Riddle hits Ohno with series of elbow strikes which made Ohno tap out and won the match. A very unique finish but nevertheless, this was a decent match.

Johnny Gargano vs Ricochet for the NXT North American Championship.

Those guys put on the absolute clinic of a wrestling match. But that ending was just shocking. Gargano delivered the slingshot DDT to Ricochet and just like that, He’s the new North American champion.

Shayna Baszler vs Bianca Belair for the NXT Women’s Championship.

This was a very good encounter between those two. By the end of the match, Bazler reversed the 450 splash and instead did the clutch submission to Belair. Belair then beings to fate and just like that, Shayna Baszler retain her women’s championship.

Aleister Black vs Tommaso Ciampa for The NXT Championship.

A great main event. My match of the night in my opinion. At one point, Ciampa delivered two fairytale endings to Black but Black kicked out. After that, Ciampa was aiming for the third one until Black was going for the black mass but his knee gave out.

Ciampa then delivered the fairytale ending to Aleister Black for the third time and Ciampa is still NXT Champion. After the match, Both Johnny Gargano and Ciampa hold their titles high on the stage area. I think Ricochet will be Ciampa’s next opponent at the next NXT Takeover show Wrestlemania weekend but like any predictions, they could be wrong.

So, to recap for all of you slow mofos:

Like: Every match except the Matt Riddle vs Kassius Ohno match (not that I hate it, just thought It was okay).

Didn’t like: (It’s a takeover show, what do you think?)

WWE Extreme Rules 2019 | My Coherent Review.

Man, I'm impressed with WWE in terms of PPVs as of late because overall, this was a fantastic show in my opinion with great matches but the crowd was dead for most of the show so that sucks.  I finally watched the pre-show match between Finn Balor and Shinsuke Nakamura before I went to bed because the show aired at 2 am where I live and it was okay.  By the way, how interesting is it when on last year’s Extreme Rules show, Shinsuke Nakamura won the United States championship and now this year’s show, he won the intercontinental title. Also, it's funny that the intercontinental championship was the main event on last's year show and on this year's Extreme Rules PPV, it's on the preshow.  Shane McMahon and Drew McIntyre vs Roman Reigns and The Undertaker.  Mike Rome did better in announcing "The Best In the world" this time than on RAW. Mike Rome's announcement a few weeks ago sounded like that one friend that thinks he/she knows how to ...

NXT Takeover: In Your House 2020 | A Coherent Review.

NXT Takeover: In Your House is like the rest of the Takeover shows, a fantastic 2 hours of professional wrestling.  What makes this show special is the additional nostalgia like how the show started with the NXT WWF inspired intro, the ice cream commercial narrated by William Regal doing his best Lord Alferd Hayes impression, icopro commercial and last but not least, Todd Pettengill.  This is a show that I'm definitely rewatching in years to come.  Mia Yim, Tegan Nox And Shotzi Blackheart vs Raquel Gonzalez, Candice LeRae And Dakota Kai.  A decent opening match. During the match, Nox did a Molly Holly top rope on to every competitor in the match.  Yim tried to give LeRae some Seoul Food but LeRae reversed that into a suplex. Several minutes later, Shotzi did a Salida Del Sol of some sort on Gonzalez to which Nox delivered the shiniest wizard on Kai and won the match.  Finn Balor vs Damian Priest. I actually thought that the closing mo...

The Coherent Wrestling Wednesdays: Holy Sh*t, The Revival Are All Elite, Matt Riddle vs Timothy Thatcher In A Unique Steel Cage Match.

Both shows had its weak points but overall, that was an enjoyable 4 hours of professional wrestling television. I personally liked AEW Dynamite this week.  From an awesome women's match with Shida and Christi Jaynes to The Revival showing up, AEW managed to give me a solid episode and successfully furthered their storylines to next week's exciting show.  NXT   Highlights (at least in my opinion because wrestling is subjective).  Kushida vs Drake Maverick vs Jake Atlas. Triple Threat Match Interim Cruiserweight Championship Tournament.  What a way to kick off this episode of NXT, am I right? Atlas delivered the rainbow DDT but Kushida broke Jake's pin.  Speaking of Kushida, he nailed the armbar submission, however, Drake pinned Atlas because Atlas' shoulders were on the mat and will meet El Hijo Del Fantasma for the finals next week.  I don't know if Drake is rehired or he's going to be rehired but Maverick has a big ta...
