The 5 News Week: Corey Graves On Vince Screaming In His Ears, AJ Lee To Co-Write A GLOW Comic Series.

Hello, my fellow wrestling fans and welcome to the 5 news week. The post where I report 5 major or minor news of the week that I don't have time to do it separately. Without further ado, here are the 5 news week.  AJ Lee To Co-Write A GLOW Comic Series.  GLOW or gorgeous ladies of wrestling makes its return to the com ic book world and I say that because there was already a GLOW comic book series released with 4 issues that lasted until this past July. This time it is a new series and It's set to be written by former WWE Divas champion AJ Lee and Aimee Garcia best known for playing Ella Lopez on the formerly FOX now Netflix's Lucifer (love that show) along with artist Hannah Templer who by the way, worked on that previous GLOW series. This new series also a four-part issue, is summarized by t he Hollywood Reporter as quote:  " the eponymous Gorgeous Ladies of Wrestling find themselves with an unexpected new nemesis: A news anchor who’s determined to convince ...

WWE NXT 20/8/19 | My Coherent Review.

Overall, a decent edition of NXT that has a lot going on and next week's episode should be even better than that given that the matches announced for next week's show.  Adam Cole Told The Fans A Long Time Ago That He's Keeping His Championship.   All members of Undisputed Era approached the ring and the leader in Adam Cole told people so that he's still going to champion and also said that if there was a Mount Rushmore of NXT champions, Cole's will be in it 4 times.  The rest of Undisputed Era, however, weren't happy on taking an L at Takeover: Toronto and Cole encouraged Fish, O'Reilly and Strong to get a rematch for the championship they each competed in. Just we thought that the opening segment has ended, Jordan Myles shows up with an NXT championship match contract and Adam Cole told him that facing him will guarantee Jordan an Undisputed failure.  Myles tried to hand him the contract but drop it in a trolly fashion. If I won the NXT Breakout t...

WWE Smackdown Live 19/8/19 | My Coherent Review.

Besides David Otunga's awful attempt and being a heel commentator, this episode of Smackdown Live was a take it or leave kinda show for me. Randy Orton Says That He Speaks The Truth.  Randy Orton called out Kofi for being a coward and stupid for what happened at SummerSlam however he gave Kofi a chance to redeem himself but the power of positivity will be crushed by three letters and that's R.K.O.   The New Day's music hits and Kofi delivers trouble in paradise outta nowhere and tried to stomp Randy on his legs with the help of a steel chair but The Revival came out and they ate a series of vicious chair shots from Kofi.  I'm glad that Kingston got his heat back from weeks of a beatdown from Randy Orton and The Revival. That promo by Randy before was simply great thanks to his passion shown.  Andrade vs Apollo Crews. Round of 16 King Of The Ring Tournament.  Before the first round match kicked off, Kevin Owens went to Shane McMahon's office ab...

It's Official: NXT Has A New Home In USA Network.

via WWE Well, the rumours are indeed true. The black and gold brand is going to air the best professional wrestling show in my opinion September 18th on the USA Network with a new timeslot of 2 hours. Here's a statement from WWE about the end goal for NXT on USA:  “The move to USA Network provides an opportunity to deepen our relationship with NBCUniversal and further build the NXT brand,” said Vince McMahon, WWE Chairman & CEO. “Over the long term, our goal is to develop a following that can be monetized to the same level as our flagship programs, Raw and SmackDown.” What do I think of this? it is certainly big news but I'm hoping that Vince doesn't put his dirty, greasy hands-on NXT because part of NXT's charm is that it's different than the main roster shows in RAW and Smackdown. I'm also curious as to how they execute a 2-hour NXT show.  NEWS Update!! : Turns out I spoke way too soon about Vince McMahon getting involved himself creatively in ...

WWE RAW 18/8/19 | My Coherent Review.

I'm back on my bs and don't worry people. On Saturday, I've caught up with RAW and Smackdown Live so I know what's going on. If you're new here, I basically took the week off last week of reviewing wrestling shows for personal reasons.  Now, what do I think about Monday Night RAW this week? I have a lot of nitpicks however, it was decent to me filled with little things that I really like.  Roman Reigns vs Dolph Ziggler.  Before this match kicked off, Dolph Ziggler cut a promo basically stating the "I'm suffering greater than you" sentence that somebody you know said it at one point and decided to superkick the big dog.  The match was very good though. Roman Reigns won the match by a devastating yet beautiful looking spear.  The King's Court. Special Guest, Sasha Banks.  Jerry Lawler replaced Corey Graves in commentary and he was pretty tolerable at to say the least but that's not what I'm talking about. I'm talkin...

The 5 News Week: Ronda Rousey Returns To Acting, Local Advertising For The Upcoming Friday Smackdown Show.

Hello, my fellow wrestling fans and welcome to the 5 news week. The post where I report 5 major or minor news of the week that I don't have time to do it separately. Without further ado, here are the 5 news week.   Local Advertise Matches For The Upcoming Friday Smackdown Show.  October is gonna be a big month. Not only I'm going to graduate on that month (yay me) but as well as all of your favourite shows will return to air but Smackdown is an exception because it's not returning per se but rather it's changing the air date (no F'ing shit, Omar).  The Staples Centre in Los Angeles, CA has locally advertised a three-way dance match (which is another word for a triple threat match for all of you slow mofos) between the champ Kofi, Dolph Ziggler and Randy Orton. The article that broke Dolph Ziggler story below made mention that this match is now being scrapped and instead it's a good old 6 man tag match so there's the update.  Dolph Ziggler Reportedly...

WWE SummerSlam 2019 | My Coherent Review.

Did the SummerSlam 2019 edition deliver or did it underperformed? I would say it did deliver but it wasn't a home run. It was a good show with one unforgettable SummerSlam moment which I will get to.  You guys know where I'm going with this, I haven't seen the pre-show matches for reasons I've stated many times in my wrestling reviews but if you're new, I was asleep during Summerslam because it aired at 2am my time so yeah. Now, on with the review.  Becky Lynch vs Natalya for the RAW Women's Championship.  I know it's minor but holy crap, pyro is back and probably not for long. It wasn't that long ago that the RAW and SmackDown women's championships were the main event at a big PPV and now one of those titles is opening WWE's second-biggest PPV of the year. Not that I have a problem with that but rather it's interesting to bring up.  Anywho, the match itself did deliver from a technical wrestling geek's perspective. Natalya ab...
