Besides David Otunga's awful attempt and being a heel commentator, this episode of Smackdown Live was a take it or leave kinda show for me.
Randy Orton called out Kofi for being a coward and stupid for what happened at SummerSlam however he gave Kofi a chance to redeem himself but the power of positivity will be crushed by three letters and that's R.K.O.

The New Day's music hits and Kofi delivers trouble in paradise outta nowhere and tried to stomp Randy on his legs with the help of a steel chair but The Revival came out and they ate a series of vicious chair shots from Kofi.
I'm glad that Kingston got his heat back from weeks of a beatdown from Randy Orton and The Revival. That promo by Randy before was simply great thanks to his passion shown.
Before the first round match kicked off, Kevin Owens went to Shane McMahon's office about the 100,000 fine and Owens said that 100,000 is too much because he has a family to take care of, bills to pay and asked Shane that he's a dad too so he could relate to it.
Shane said that he's going to think about it. That was not a Shane McMahon thing to say. Did he just turn babyface? (I know it's a stretch to some but you get the point).

The match without commercial breaks would've been better but this was a decent match. Minutes after Apollo delivered a picture-perfect standing moonsault, Andrade hits Crews with the Hammer DDT thanks to a distraction by Zelina Vega. Andrade is going to face either Shelton Benjamin or Chad Gable which should be a good encounter.
Elias was walking around backstage but he found a ref with a bad disguise and the ref told him that somebody is hiding inside the production box.
Turns out it was Drake Maverick and Elias forced Maverick to read a statement saying that the 24/7 championship rules have been suspended throughout the night. The 24/7 championship shenanigans have been a hit or miss as of late and I don't know what would the title need for a fresh soft reboot but it needs it right now.
Alexa Bliss told Flair that the match between Charlotte and Trish Stratus is a passing of the torch however Charlotte replied by saying that she took the torch. Charlotte also said that she's the face of Smackdown Live which is true actually.
Out came the SmackDown Women's champion in Bayley and she basically said that Charlotte is arrogant (no shit, Bayley) and pushed the queen out of Charlotte's chair. Whatever.
Why did I say that word? It's quite obvious. I have no interest in this feud so far but I said the same thing about Kofi vs Randy and I enjoyed that feud so who says that I can't change my mind?
Buddy Murphy had back to back outstanding matches between two of the biggest stars in this very company. The match ended with Buddy kicked Rowan's head off and delivered the Murphy's Law and just pinned the 5-time world champ.
After the match, he was about to be interviewed by Kayla Braxton but Daniel Bryan and Rowan ganged out on Murphy and Murphy took a devastating iron claw by Rowan.
If that doesn't give a warning sign that Buddy Murphy is a star, I didn't know what sign would.

This match was fine for what it was. The Revival somehow won this match with a beat-up back with a roll-up from Dash Wilder to Otis.
Chad Gable was interviewed by Kayla Braxton about him being the underdog while Shelton Benjamin put up a poster saying "you have to be this tall to be on King Of the Ring" on top of the men's locker room door and after the interview was over, Chad Gable look it and just like my thoughts on that poster, he saw it with a disgusted look on his face and said "funny".
Sami Zayn basically said to Miz that he's frustrated because he's being losing match after match after match and he called out somebody who can help him and that's the intercontinental champion Shinsuke Nakamura and they decided to beat up Miz to make a statement.
Honestly speaking, I really like this pair between Zayn and Nakamura and yes, they're both on different brands but do you actually think that they care about the brand split?
During the match, Shane McMahon oddly came out which led to a commercial break. Shane revealed that he's the official himself because before this match, he told Owens that if he puts his hands on an official then he's fired. Elias pinned him with a roll-up and McMahon counted that very quickly.
Not surprised that the match ended in a screwy finish. Meanwhile, Roman Reigns was shown by Daniel and Rowan on who's the actual attacker and it was a person that looked like an older version of Rowan.
Curious as to how this actually plays out because I had more questions than answers right now but like I said, I'm not gonna jump the gun and instead I'm just going to wait and see what happens next.
So, to recap for all of you slow mofos:
Like: Buddy Murphy vs Daniel Bryan, Sami partnering up with Shinsuke Nakamura, opening segment.
Didn't like: David Otunga as a heel colour commentator, poor job at building a Smackdown Live women's championship feud so far.

Andrade vs Apollo Crews. Round of 16 King Of The Ring Tournament.
