WWE NXT 29/6/21 | A Coherent Review

Does NXT continue to be the best weekly episodic wrestling show out right now?? Yes.  Images via WWE.com   Shotzi Blackheart And Ember Moon vs Dakota Kai And Raquel Gonzalez vs Io Shirai And Zoey Stark. Winner Gets An NXT Women's Tag Team Championship Opportunity.  This multi-person screams the sentence, "quick-paced chaos". This match didn't have a dull moment and that's what differs from the rest of the program that features multi-person tag team matches, ya know what I mean?  Io Shirai's beautiful moonsault on Dakota Kai, led her partner Zoey Stark to victory along with a championship opportunity which should be a fun bout.  Johnny Gargano attacked Karrion Kross from behind. Later in the episode, Kross called out Gargano inside the CWC. The champ was sidelined with an attack once again by The Way's Austin Theory and it was followed by a brawl.  Don't mind the idea of this feud because I know for a fact that they'll pull off a very enjoyable matc

WWE RAW 28/6/21 | A Coherent Review.

This episode isn't all that great. However, it wasn't offensive to my viewing eyes. Simply put, The show was passable.  I will say, the episode didn't feel like it dragged on, which is ironic because that is by far,  the red brand's biggest weakness.  Images via WWE.com A Battle Royal Match To Determine The Participant In The Last Chance Triple Threat Money In The Bank Qualifying Match.  Riddle sent Adam Pearce and Sonya Deville a letter that "was written by Randy Orton" so that Riddle can compete on the battle royal on Randy's behalf.  The decision-makers were in favour of that idea so Riddle's in the match.  A short entertaining scene is all I'm going to say.  The match itself wasn't really noteworthy other than the fact that Riddle was victorious in the end.  In an interview with Kevin Patrick, Styles wasn't happy that the match is a triple threat match and how Omos has to overwork himself to oversee the entire bout. Cool.  Nikki Cross v

Let's Talk About The (Then) WWE Writer Situation.

There was a giant discourse online regarding the now-former writer for Monday Night Raw (Kenice Mobley) and how she revealed in the Asian Not Asian podcast interview that she wasn't required to have any grasps on the WWE product (even though I didn't use any transcript here, c heck out Andrew Thompson of Post Wrestling's transcript on it because he deserves every single shout out he gets).   The discussion online resulted in people giving very insightful comments like, "WWE is going in the wrong direction" or "this is why WWE sucks" (I'm pretty sure that isn't the case but go ahead, Gus). Dave Meltzer of igivewrestlingsitescontent.com noted in the Observer that the writer, Kenice Mobley, was "under the gun for speaking publicly on subjects that WWE doesn’t want stuff talked about."   To be fair, Sean Ross Sapp of igotmoremoneythanyourmom.com did state on Twitter , "I'm told fan reaction to Kenice Mobley's podcast appeara

WWE Smackdown 25/6/21 | A Coherent Review.

If you love rematches and storyline continuations that should've had a decisive conclusion, then this episode is for you!  This show, to put it lightly, wasn't good. As a matter of opinion, the program was so darn awful.  Images via WWE.com Bayley And Seth Rollins vs Bianca Belair And Cesaro.  They essentially had words to fill about "who's the winner and who's the loser" in an open segment before the match took place.  I find it really head-scratching that Bayley called the SmackDown women's champion, "Bianca Beloser" even though Bayley lost to Belair in a "clean as glass" type of finish.  I will say this, Seth Rollins laughing in the background every time Bayley said something about Belair is pure gold. Probably it's best to keep Rollins as a heel just for that laugh alone.  The match ended with a pinfall victory from Bayley to the SmackDown's women's champion and you know what that means? REMATCH!  I do not hate rematch

WWE NXT 22/6/21 | A Coherent Review.

You know a wrestling TV episode is good when it feels short. My mind after watching this episode was like, "Wow, wow, wow".  With the back to back enjoyable episodes of NXT, the "NXT of old" might be back beside the dull crowd, of course.  Images via WWE.com Johnny Gargano Says That NXT Needs A New Face.  Gargano called out the current NXT champion, Karrion Kross and stated that he has out-wrestled the big man.  Pete Dunne showed up and disagreed with Gargano's arrogant words. Later in the night, Pete Dunne teamed up with Oney Lorcan to face The Way's Johnny Gargano and Austin Theory.  Now, the match was an example of fast-paced action that some people in the community that shall not be named will definitely look at this match and say, "what a bunch of vanilla midgets, bro".  Gargano got a clean as glass finish with the one final beat to Lorcan.  It was a great way to protect Dunne while also further legitimizing Gargano's argument as to why he

WWE RAW 21/6/21 | A Coherent Review.

Holy f**king sh*t! This week's episode of Monday Night RAW was pretty enjoyable? In other words, the resident WWE shill is back, baby! Such a shill in fact that I avoid watching NXT UK, 205 Live and WWE Main Event.  Images via WWE.com   Kofi Kingston Challenges Bobby Lashley To A WWE Title Bout At Money In The Bank.  In MVP's VIP Lounge, The New Day showed up and Kofi Kingston challenged Bobby Lashley to a match for the big championship at Money In The Bank.  And with no hesitation, Bobby accepted the challenge. Xavier Woods has a match challenge of his own for Bob Lashley.  Woods wanted the encounter to take place inside Hell In A Cell and Bob was like,"Yea, I accept. Cool."  The thing I love about Lashley's run is his confidence. His confidence in that he can beat up anybody because he's God damn powerful in the ring.  WWE could've easily made him execute a typical heel move and say, "no" to all types of challenges but they didn't.  And tha

WWE Hell In A Cell 2021 | A Coherent Review.

It is an odd choice to move a PPV that is traditionally slated for October to June.  It makes sense to me considering that one, the weather is too damn hot and two, our world's current economics relies on profit rather than need.  Sh*t, this is damn near hell on earth, my guys.  All random tangents aside, how was the 2021 edition of Hell In A Cell? It was a decent/enjoyable 2 and half hours of professional wrestling.  I would be lying though if I said that y'all should go out of their way to see this show because nothing actually notable happened here.  I've not seen the tag match at the pre-show but based on the participants, I'm going to assume that the match was okay because ain't nobody praising it.  Images via wwe.com Bianca Belair vs Bayley For The SmackDown Women's Championship In A Hell In A Cell Match.  Like I've said in my previous reviews, Bayley's psychotic laugh is scarier than anything that WWE tried to pull off with Alexa Bliss.  I thought
