WWE NXT 22/6/21 | A Coherent Review.

You know a wrestling TV episode is good when it feels short. My mind after watching this episode was like, "Wow, wow, wow".

With the back to back enjoyable episodes of NXT, the "NXT of old" might be back beside the dull crowd, of course.

Johnny Gargano Says That NXT Needs A New Face.

Gargano called out the current NXT champion, Karrion Kross and stated that he has out-wrestled the big man.

Pete Dunne showed up and disagreed with Gargano's arrogant words. Later in the night, Pete Dunne teamed up with Oney Lorcan to face The Way's Johnny Gargano and Austin Theory.

Now, the match was an example of fast-paced action that some people in the community that shall not be named will definitely look at this match and say, "what a bunch of vanilla midgets, bro".

Gargano got a clean as glass finish with the one final beat to Lorcan.

It was a great way to protect Dunne while also further legitimizing Gargano's argument as to why he "belongs" in the main event scene.

Adam Cole vs Carmelo Hayes.

This match kinda surprised me. I really enjoyed this match and it's probably one of the best matches of the week.

With matches like this, Hayes is shaping to be a performer to keep an eye on if the creative overlords play their cards right.

LA Knight was cutting a promo relaxing near a pool, drinking some wine while talking sh*t about Ted Dibiase and Cameron Grimes.

The segment was way too funny to me because the idea of a grown man that is almost naked, drinking wine while talking sh*t is legit f**king hilarious to me.

Only as talented as LA Knight can pull it off.

A Women's Tag Team Title Brawl.

After Io Shirai and Zoey Stark defeated Jessi Kamea and Aliyah, Raquel Gonzalez (along with her partner Dakota Kai), Shotzi Blackheart and Ember Moon stated their case that they simply want those NXT women's tag belts.

A brawl ensued between all of those tag teams and the women's tag champs were watching on because it's the smart thing to do, duh!?

Two obvious conclusions came to mind after watching the ending.

Either they'll be a multi-person match for the women's tag championship or they'll be a number one contenders match involving the women that were brawling with each other.

And NXT picked the second option and you know what? I do not hate it.

Karrion Kross had a face to face eye staring contest with the enforcer, Samoa Joe to which Joe had another eye staring contest with Peter Dune himself. Don't f**k with Joe, is the moral of this scene.

Franky Monet continues to show her dominance as she defeated Elektra Lopez. Speaking of showing dominance, Hit Row did exactly just that with Ever-Rise.

While those matches were fine for what they were, I love seeing characters build the so-called "momentum". It's just a healthy path to construct a solid division.

Side note, Franky Monet's dog name is Presley and I'm not surprised by it because that is the name a white woman would probably name their pet as other than Daisy or Fluffy.

Jake Atlas assists in Mercedes Martinez's fight with Tia Sha's faction next week. Alright. Will see what happens.

Kushida vs Kyle O'Reilly.

A match that I was looking forward to all week long and I'm happy to say that it exceeded my expectations by a ton.

This match is a technical wrestling fan's wet dream and I have no shame in saying that because the encounter was legit THAT damn good.

Holy f**king sh*t, I love this match. I came out of watching the main event pulling an Oliver Twist saying, "please, sir. May I have some more?"

This might be my favourite match of a middle-aged 2021.

Kyle O'Reilly outsmarted the cruiserweight champion by rolling him up to pick up the victory.

Yes, a champion just lost in singles action but in the end, Kushida looked pretty good by hanging with one of the top main event guys in NXT.

After the match, O'Reilly had a brawl on the outside with Adam Cole *Bay Bay*.

Inside the ring, Kushida was attacked by the Diamond Mine in the returning Roderick Strong, Tyler Rust, Malcolm Bivens and Hideki Suzuki.

I'm happy that Roderick and Bivens are back, going to do something that is hopefully meaningful and rewarding as an audience member and as a fan of both men.

So, to recap for all of you slow mofos.

Like: Kushida vs Kyle O'Reilly, Adam Cole vs Carmelo Hayes, The Way vs Peter Dune and Oney Lorcan, an emphasis on building "momentum" for newer acts, LA Knight pool area promo.

Didn't like: Are you high? This was a fantastic episode.

WWE Smackdown Live 28/8/18 | My Coherent Review.

Overall, Smackdown Live was better than RAW in terms of having a somewhat good ending. Why you ask? Well, I'm gonna give you what's good, what's ok and the bad parts about this show were none in my opinion. Without further ado, this is my coherent, honest review of this week's Smackdown Live.  WHAT'S GOOD    New day's celebration  You have the new day celebration with their interaction with booker T and the addition of the spinaroonie or the spinaroonie, in this case, was entertaining and an odd but amusing opening segment.  Daniel Bryan vs Andrade "Cien" almas   Daniel Bryan's promo with Brie Bella by his side was like the Naomi vs Billie Kay match, it was there. However, the match itself was pretty good in my opinion. That chop by almas looked brutal bro like damn. Daniel Bryan wins Via DQ by miz beating him, almas hitting the hammerlock DDT, Maryse hitting a brutal looking DDT to brie bella and then miz hitting the skull cru

WWE Smackdown 14/2/20 | My Coherent Review.

Last night was my 2nd anniversary of pumping out written content on this site and I thought since this show has delivered 6 or sometimes 3 out of 10s for 4 months now, I've written some lyrics about my thoughts on Smackdown in the style of the current song opening for the blue brand.  If you wanna put the instrumental version of ACDC's Are You Ready while reading this then that's cool too.  *Cue the intro* Are you Ready?  Are you ready for mediocrity! Then, get ready for disappointment.  No one needs it.  No one needs it.  No one needs it.   Even Bischoff.  Are you ready for mediocrity! *ends with some guitar solos*.  The lyrics may suck but it is at least better than whatever the hell Justin Bieber meant when he sang his current single "Yummy".  Now, on with the review. The Return Of A Moment Of Bliss (Unlike The Return Of The Dirt Sheets, Nobody Really Cares).  Both Bliss and Nikki Cross talked about their c

WWE RAW 6/7/20 | A Coherent Review.

This episode of RAW actually made me look forward to Extreme Rules and that's something WWE doesn't do all that well in recent years. It was a great effort by the powers that be.  Dolph Ziggler Picks The Stipulation For The WWE Championship At Extreme Rules: The Horror Show.  McIntyre is waiting for Dolph Ziggler to pick the stipulation for their championship match at Extreme Rules.  Drew got his wish as Dolph Ziggler said that Drew has been stabbing people in the back and that includes the person that Ziggler brought up but not verbally, Heath Slater.  In a very emotional promo, Slater told his former 3MB mate that he was there for Drew McIntyre when Drew was fired from WWE in 2014 but the Scotsmen wasn't there for Slater when he was fired this year.  So, the one-man-band challenged him to a match and the WWE champion accepted. How was the match?  It was a squash bout. Drew wins with the claymore to which Ziggler was picking on Heath and Mc
