WWE RAW 30/11/20 | A Coherent Review.

Monday Night RAW this week was one big meh. I didn't hate it. I certainly didn't love it. It was just kinda there.   Images via WWE.com A Moment Of Bliss. Special Guest, Randy Orton.  Alexa Bliss brings back her talk show segment but this time, it's a different Alexa Bliss obviously.  This scene is essentially about figuring out Bray's weakness which Randy did the first time 3 years ago aka the Wyatt compound.  In this case, Bray's weakness is Alexa Bliss and Randy might have The Fiend's number.  WWE is hitting similar beats in this feud between Bray Wyatt and Randal Keith Orton with the whole weakness angle and I'm intrigued?  Elias vs Jeff Hardy In A Symphony Of Destruction Match. For the first time ever, WWE actually made their show "Main Event" kind of important given that they aired a segment from Main Event involving two top guys on the flagship show.  There were some 24/7 championship shenanigans during the match. Cool.  What's weird abo

The 5 News Week: Michael Cole On How Long He's Going To Commentate, WWE Has No Plans For TLC 2020?

Hello, my fellow wrestling fans and welcome to the 5 news week. The post where I report 5 major or minor news of the week that I don't have time to do it separately.  By the way, this is the last 5 News Weeks post before I post a look-back article. 2020 has been a great year for The 5 News Week so thank  you guys so much for checking out this series.    Whether you're new or have been rocking with me since the first 5 news Week 2 years ago.  Without further ado, here are the 5 news week.   Some Images via WWE.com Michael Cole On How Long He's Going To Commentate.  Michael Cole is like the 2017 film, "Mother!". You either love it or hate it.  Cole's play by play commentator role was talked about in an interview with the Gorilla Position podcast.  At one point, the voice of Smackdown mentioned how long he's going to commentate for (from Sorta Post-Wrestling ):  "That’s the one thing. I’ve been able to evolve over the years and just stay steady and liste

An Update On My Podcast.

I was supposed to start recording my first ever podcast yesterday.  Exciting, right? Unfortunately, my anxiety got the best of me and I feel really sh*tty about it.  As of yesterday, my panic attack was so bad that I built up a stomach ache that led to some vomiting.  I've never felt this emotionally wrecked in weeks.  Why am I writing about this? Well, it's time for me to open up on what's going with me personally and it's way for me to connect with you guys on that level.  For now, I'm sticking to the written word and the podcast will be delayed indefinitely until I get the confidence enough to speak.  So, see you guys maybe on The 5 News Week?  Take care of yourselves, people because to quote Spiderman in Avengers: Infinity War, "I don't feel so good".

WWE RAW 23/11/20 | A Coherent Review.

Monday Night RAW this week felt like 7 hours instead of 3 hours because this show was a snooze fest.  There were a few good moments but for the most part, I was bored as f**k watching this episode.  Images via WWE.com This Segment Bruh…  To put it simply, the segment was straight up dogsh*t.  Pretty much all of the competitors in the RAW Survivor Series men's team stated their reason as to why they deserve a WWE title opportunity (with jokes from Riddle cornier than any Nick Cannon's comedy sketch).  Then, Braun Strowman attacked Adam Pearce because Braun was bothered by Adam Pearce saying, "last but not least" to him. Whyee?  That attack from Strowman made him look so stupid.  You (Braun) would've had a slight chance to face Drew for the WWE championship so why attack the guy?  The New Day vs Shelton Benjamin And Cedric Alexander For The RAW Tag Team Championship.  Moving on from something that is actually slightly worst?  I would be complaining about how we'

WWE Survivor Series 2020 | A Coherent Review.

Survivor Series 2020 was as a whole, okay. The show did have its moments but it ain't a WWE PPV without its setbacks.  So. The Miz just won a battle royal.  He, by the way, has built a decent momentum as a Money In The Bank holder than Otis ever did.  Who knew?  Images via WWE.com AJ Styles, Riddle, Keith Lee, Braun Strowman And Sheamus vs Seth Rollins, King Corbin, Jey Uso, Kevin Owens and Otis. Men's Traditional Survivor Series Match.  All bask in his f'ing glory because the man just got a brand new theme song and I love it.  It's a remix of his old theme song before WWE messed it up, of course.  Anyways, the opening match was skippable.  The Smackdown were all on the same page except for Seth Rollins who sacrificed himself "for the greater good" by giving Sheamus the opportunity to hit the brogue kick and pinned the guy, leading to the first elimination of the evening.  Well, that was meh at best.  At least Kevin Owens tried his best for the blue brand by h

The 5 News Week: Who's Sword Did Drew McIntyre Use In His Entrance On Monday Night RAW?, AEW Reportedly Struggling To Sell Tickets At Daily's Place For Dynamite.

Hello, my fellow wrestling fans and welcome to the 5 news week. The post where I report 5 major or minor news of the week that I don't have time to do it separately. Without further ado, here are the 5 news week.  Some Images via WWE.com Who's Sword Did Drew McIntyre Use In His Entrance On Monday Night RAW?  Monday Night RAW this past week was surprisingly a watchable show from start to finish ( click here to know more).  While Drew McIntyre vs Randy Orton wasn't THE main reason why, it was a decent encounter.  However, during Drew's entrance before he captured the WWE championship for the 2nd time, the Scotsmen revealed in an interview with Ryan Satin over at Fox Sports that the sword he used for that entrance belongs to Vince McMahon:  "I guess I’ll let the cat out of the bag: The sword that I had is actually Vince [McMahon]’s sword.  It was gifted to him by Stephanie [McMahon] and Hunter [Paul Levesque]. I believe the conversation went, “We need the sword. We

WWE Smackdown 20/11/20 | A Coherent Review.

I can't believe I'm saying this but Monday Night RAW was the better show than Smackdown.  I mean, it's only one episode but still, that is a big yikes.  Don't take this the wrong way, Smackdown isn't horrible, it's just that RAW did a much better job of delivering a go-home show.  Images via WWE.com The New Day Wants The Smoke From The Street Profits.  After Big E had some words for The Street Profits in a backstage segment, the rest of The New Day told The Street Profits that they'll give SmackDown tag champs the fire instead of the smoke which led to Kofi Kingston and Xavier Woods doing an Undertaker pose of some sort.  Out came Sami Zayn and he stated that he feels disrespected as Intercontinental champion and how he'll defeat the United States champion, Bobby Lashley at Survivor Series.  King Corbin showed up and the king reminded the RAW tag champs that they do not belong on the blue show anymore.  Dolph Ziggler and Robert Roode chimed in, saying th
