WWE RAW 30/11/20 | A Coherent Review.

Monday Night RAW this week was one big meh. I didn't hate it. I certainly didn't love it. It was just kinda there.

A Moment Of Bliss. Special Guest, Randy Orton.

Alexa Bliss brings back her talk show segment but this time, it's a different Alexa Bliss obviously.

This scene is essentially about figuring out Bray's weakness which Randy did the first time 3 years ago aka the Wyatt compound.

In this case, Bray's weakness is Alexa Bliss and Randy might have The Fiend's number.

WWE is hitting similar beats in this feud between Bray Wyatt and Randal Keith Orton with the whole weakness angle and I'm intrigued?

Elias vs Jeff Hardy In A Symphony Of Destruction Match.

For the first time ever, WWE actually made their show "Main Event" kind of important given that they aired a segment from Main Event involving two top guys on the flagship show.

There were some 24/7 championship shenanigans during the match. Cool.

What's weird about this is that after Elias pinned Jeff, Jeff used the ropes to break up the pin.

Like, isn't this match no DQ and no count-outs? I thought that made no sense.

The match ended with a Swanton Bomb from the top rope on to the outside through a table and that's how Jeff Hardy takes the W.

Keith Lee wasn't having it with Riddle in a "comedic" backstage segment.

Ricochet vs SlapJack.

Mustafa Ali said to Ricochet, "why can't you see what I see?"

Because you weren't on the show for a few weeks my guy.

Despite a Dana Brooke appearance, SlapJack wins the match.

Retribution has another W in their belts so that's nice, I guess (The match with Reckoning and Dana Brooke will tell that otherwise).

Miz TV. Special Guest, Sheamus.

The hosts in Miz and Morrison were getting into Sheamus' head with arguments such as how Drew didn't give a gift of his own to Sheamus and how Sheamus' career is an afterthought.

Then, a brawl happened and Miz laid down Sheamus.

The ending of the segment, as well as Miz’s convincing talk about Drew McIntyre, could be a factor into the demise of a friendship between the Scotsmen and the Irishmen.

I like this segment and the main reason as to why (and I can't believe I'm saying this) is The Miz.

Miz's latest promo had me saying, "big facts".

Asuka And Lana vs Shayna Baszler And Nia Jax.

Lana pinned Shayna Baszler to win this match. Something that I can't believe I'm saying.

You know what that means? A rematch but for the tag team championship at TLC.

Follow Playard Wrestling Post for more obvious predictions disguised as inside scoops.

Xavier Woods vs Cedric Alexander.

So. The New Day were recapping a trilogy of mostly bad book………...I mean, wins from The New Day against The Hurt Business.

The Hurt Business had a problem with that which led to a fun encounter.

By the way, Alexander's brainbuster NEVER gets old.

Another thing that doesn't get old is Alexander's lumbar check to win this singles match.

Watch. Kofi faces Shelton next week and Shelton wins.

Riddle pissed off AJ Styles ahead of their triple threat number one contenders match for the WWE championship and speaking of which.

Keith Lee vs Riddle vs AJ Styles In A Sudden Death Triple Threat Match. Winner Faces Drew McIntyre For The WWE Championship At TLC.

The match itself was fine for what it was.

The phenomenal one wins with his signature phenomenal forearm on to Riddle after a hard-hitting back and forth between Keith Lee and Riddle.

Dana Brooke vs Reckoning.

The faction first showed up 4 months ago and it's in December where Mia Yim aka Reckoning, finally has her main roster debut match.

Anddddd Dana Brooke wins with a roll-up. Reckoning will get her heat back in their second match because that's how wrestling works, am I right?

The Miz and John Morrison gave AJ Styles a pie but Styles' associate says that it's a cupcake.

Am I supposed to be laughing at that moment?

Drew McIntyre And Sheamus vs The Miz And John Morrison.

AJ Styles was the guest commentator and Samoa Joe on commentary should've asked Styles how is Wendy doing.

Another fine match that wouldn't blow your mind Gwen Stefani style.

The bout ended via a DQ thanks to a phenomenal forearm from AJ Styles.

Styles wanted Miz to cash in the contract and Miz refused at first but Miz changed his mind.

As soon as Miz gave the briefcase to the referee, Drew hit the Claymore Kick to the A-lister.

So, to recap for all of you slow mofos.

Like: The Miz TV segment, Xavier Woods vs Cedric Alexander.

Didn't like: The predictable writing makes the build to TLC less exciting.

WWE Wrestlemania 26 | A Coherent Review.

I've teased a mystery review on my Facebook page (which you can click here to follow us) and that mystery has now been unveiled. It's Wrestlemania 26. This review was delayed and was supposed to be up last Monday but at least is now up. Also, The first draft of this review was 7 pages long so strap in. By far, the longest review on this very website.  I thought it would be fitting to review a Wrestlemania from a decade back and how do I feel about it? It was a show that if you watched it, you're most likely going to have a good time. It was a mix of great things but terrible things at the same time as most shows.  The 26th edition of Wrestlemania took place in the University of Phoenix Stadium in the Phoenix suburb of Glendale, Arizona on March 28th, 2010.  The commentators were Micheal Cole, Jerry Lawler and Matt Striker. Honestly, Striker was pretty good and a far better colour commentator than Lawler was on this show (even today, Lawler is still bleh on commen...

WrestleFest DXB's Fahrenheit 971 | A Coherent W.

Being a fan of pro wrestling (or any other medium of entertainment) does have its pros and cons when engaging with the industry as a whole.  On one hand, you've witnessed an Eddie Kingston promo that'll make you tear up more than the opening scene of Up.  On the other hand, going to the wrestling subreddit will definitely have you questioning humanity as a whole and the fact that living in an area where a wrestling presence pretty much doesn't exist like a Vince Russo-written storyline that is, you know, GOOD!?  Luckily, the latter retracted my con as a fan because I'm talking about Wrestlefest DXB and their latest joint, "971 Fahrenheit".  Martin Bushby of now Post Wrestling Alumni brought the event to my attention because like a wrestler on an episode of RAW I get distracted all the time.  So, I decided to take a short journey to a taxi then a bus then a train then a 30-minute walk to the show itself and I know I'm going to sound biased as f**k but I l...

NXT Takeover: 30 | A Coherent Review.

NXT Takeovers have delivered greatly throughout the "30 years" of Takeover shows.  This one, in my opinion, wasn't it. For a Takeover program, this was disappointing.  All of the Takeovers are A's or B's and Takeover 30 was a C at best.  At least, I like the stage production set.  pictures via WWE.com PRESHOW: Breezango vs Legado De La Fantasma vs Oney Lorcan And Danny Burch. Winner Faces Imperium For The NXT Tag Team Championship.  It was a fine match. Joaquin Wilde's ring gear was really cool even though it took a bit out of the seriousness from the Legado De La Fantasma stable. I'm just nitpicking though.  Breezango actually won the match and will go on to face Imperium for the tag belts.  MAIN SHOW: Finn Balor vs Timothy Thatcher.  Timothy Thatcher started off this match with a series of punches which he then later transitioned into various submission moves.  Pretty much, Finn has no choice but to adapt to...
