WWE RAW 23/11/20 | A Coherent Review.

Monday Night RAW this week felt like 7 hours instead of 3 hours because this show was a snooze fest.

There were a few good moments but for the most part, I was bored as f**k watching this episode.

This Segment Bruh…

To put it simply, the segment was straight up dogsh*t.

Pretty much all of the competitors in the RAW Survivor Series men's team stated their reason as to why they deserve a WWE title opportunity (with jokes from Riddle cornier than any Nick Cannon's comedy sketch).

Then, Braun Strowman attacked Adam Pearce because Braun was bothered by Adam Pearce saying, "last but not least" to him.

Whyee?  That attack from Strowman made him look so stupid.

You (Braun) would've had a slight chance to face Drew for the WWE championship so why attack the guy?

The New Day vs Shelton Benjamin And Cedric Alexander For The RAW Tag Team Championship.

Moving on from something that is actually slightly worst?

I would be complaining about how we're seeing the same match again but since the match last week was great, I certainly do not mind seeing it again, ya know?

Unfortunately, this entire thing was set up badly in my opinion.

Before the match took place, the Hurt Business demanded a rematch for the titles against The New Day.

Because of the way Cedric talked to Xavier Woods, the champs accepted the challenge.

The bout ended via a double count-out due to Shelton and Kofi not entering the ring in time.

So, MVP restarted the match. I know I'm not on Twitter every day (@omartheplayaguy) but I didn't know that WWE made MVP the general manager.

Had the match ended in a double count-out and the rematch happening at TLC, I wouldn't mind this.

However, the spot where MVP restarting the match like he's the general manager ruined the entire thing for me.

In an interview with Sarah Schreiber, Lana wanted to soak in the moment.

Sarah followed up with a question about a championship opportunity and Lana thought about it.

Later in the night though, Asuka gave Lana a title shot.

Adam Pearce had some discussion with Bobby Lashley and Randy Orton regarding a WWE championship opportunity.

To which Pearce made a series of 3 matches conceding who's the next challenger for Drew McIntyre.

The winners of those matches will face each other in a triple threat match to determine the number one contender for the WWE championship.

All I can say is, Drew McInfart.

Riddle vs Sheamus. Winner Takes Part In A Triple Threat Match To Determine The Number One Contender For The WWE Championship.

The match was actually good.

Both men beat the holy hell outta each other with those series of chops and kicks.

Riddle used a modified version of a roll-up to qualify in the number one contender’s triple threat match.

The Firefly funhouse saw Bray Wyatt talking about friendship with the help of a new character, friendship frog.

Alexa Bliss then killed the amphibian and a tribute video was played about the friendship frog.

That was the best Firefly funhouse in many weeks now.

The theme of friendship with Bliss' match against Nikki Cross and the friendship frog blended it so well.

Asuka vs Lana For The RAW Women's Championship.

Did Lana pull off the miracle once again?

Nah, the match ended with a DQ due to Nia Jax and Shayna Baszler attacking Asuka after the RAW women's champion poured Jax some water.

The women's tag team champions took a page out of MVP's book earlier in the ring by setting up a match, this time a tag team match, Playas.

The babyface team wins here. As a guy that is engaged in the Lana sympathy storyline, I was uninterested throughout this entire thing for some reason.

Riddle pitched MVP a business proposition. What if pizza meets yoghurt?

That is the whitest thing I've ever heard all day.

Keith Lee vs Bobby Lashley. Winner Takes Part In A Triple Threat Match To Determine The Number One Contender For The WWE Championship.

So, another f**k finish happened thanks to MVP beating up Keith Lee. Ugh.

Lee is now in the number one contenders match for the WWE championship.

By the way, this is the first time that Bobby Lashley lost a singles match since he fought Drew McIntyre back in June.

Nikki Cross vs Alexa Bliss.

Once best friends now bitter enemies going at it in a short yet good story match.

Alexa Bliss used her manipulations to win this match.

Hollywood has to be looking at Bliss' performance like, "somebody call her agent because we just got a casting in the Barney movie".

All jokes aside, Alexa Bliss has to be the best character performer in professional wrestling right now other than Bray Wyatt.

The amount of personas she can depict is impressive.

You want her to portray as an innocent woman? Check!

You want her to portray as an arrogant heel? Check!

You want her to portray as an obsessive, manipulative psycho? Check!

Randy Orton vs AJ Styles. Winner Takes Part In A Triple Threat Match To Determine The Number One Contender For The WWE Championship.

The last match of the episode was decent. Styles tries to destroy Orton's leg with the calf crusher in which the hold lasted for minutes.

The Fiend's music hit and Randy's distraction was an advantage for Styles as the phenomenal one nailed the phenomenal forearm to be the last man remaining in the triple threat match.

So, to recap for all of you slow mofos.

Like: Riddle vs Sheamus, Firefly funhouse, Alexa Bliss vs Nikki Cross.

Didn't like: Opening match, the booking surrounding the raw tag team championship and the Asuka, Lana, Shayna Baszler and Nia Jax shenanigans, how the Keith Lee vs Bobby Lashley match ended, the show overall drags on.

WWE Extreme Rules 2019 | My Coherent Review.

Man, I'm impressed with WWE in terms of PPVs as of late because overall, this was a fantastic show in my opinion with great matches but the crowd was dead for most of the show so that sucks.  I finally watched the pre-show match between Finn Balor and Shinsuke Nakamura before I went to bed because the show aired at 2 am where I live and it was okay.  By the way, how interesting is it when on last year’s Extreme Rules show, Shinsuke Nakamura won the United States championship and now this year’s show, he won the intercontinental title. Also, it's funny that the intercontinental championship was the main event on last's year show and on this year's Extreme Rules PPV, it's on the preshow.  Shane McMahon and Drew McIntyre vs Roman Reigns and The Undertaker.  Mike Rome did better in announcing "The Best In the world" this time than on RAW. Mike Rome's announcement a few weeks ago sounded like that one friend that thinks he/she knows how to ...

NXT Takeover: In Your House 2020 | A Coherent Review.

NXT Takeover: In Your House is like the rest of the Takeover shows, a fantastic 2 hours of professional wrestling.  What makes this show special is the additional nostalgia like how the show started with the NXT WWF inspired intro, the ice cream commercial narrated by William Regal doing his best Lord Alferd Hayes impression, icopro commercial and last but not least, Todd Pettengill.  This is a show that I'm definitely rewatching in years to come.  Mia Yim, Tegan Nox And Shotzi Blackheart vs Raquel Gonzalez, Candice LeRae And Dakota Kai.  A decent opening match. During the match, Nox did a Molly Holly top rope on to every competitor in the match.  Yim tried to give LeRae some Seoul Food but LeRae reversed that into a suplex. Several minutes later, Shotzi did a Salida Del Sol of some sort on Gonzalez to which Nox delivered the shiniest wizard on Kai and won the match.  Finn Balor vs Damian Priest. I actually thought that the closing mo...

The Coherent Wrestling Wednesdays: Holy Sh*t, The Revival Are All Elite, Matt Riddle vs Timothy Thatcher In A Unique Steel Cage Match.

Both shows had its weak points but overall, that was an enjoyable 4 hours of professional wrestling television. I personally liked AEW Dynamite this week.  From an awesome women's match with Shida and Christi Jaynes to The Revival showing up, AEW managed to give me a solid episode and successfully furthered their storylines to next week's exciting show.  NXT   Highlights (at least in my opinion because wrestling is subjective).  Kushida vs Drake Maverick vs Jake Atlas. Triple Threat Match Interim Cruiserweight Championship Tournament.  What a way to kick off this episode of NXT, am I right? Atlas delivered the rainbow DDT but Kushida broke Jake's pin.  Speaking of Kushida, he nailed the armbar submission, however, Drake pinned Atlas because Atlas' shoulders were on the mat and will meet El Hijo Del Fantasma for the finals next week.  I don't know if Drake is rehired or he's going to be rehired but Maverick has a big ta...
