RUMOUR: Kevin Owens Possibly allying Himself With Paul Heyman?

If you watched RAW this week, you know that by the end of that incredible match he took the microphone and said that he quit (click here for my In-depth RAW review). This Speculation came from a podcast of all things called Fired Up by Barn Burner and He says that Owens could pair himself with Paul Heyman.

What do I think of this? If done/booked right, I think they're going to be the BEST act on RAW. In other words, I hope this rumour comes true. Yes, Owens doesn't need a mouthpiece considering that he's great on the mic but paring himself with Heyman will do wonders for him in my opinion. It's a great idea that no one has pitched or at least no one that I know of.

What ideas do you have for the storyline of Owens "Quitting the WWE"? Jump in the comments below and follow the blog for honest pro wrestling opinions. Anyways, stay safe smarks.

WWE Smackdown 20/8/21 | A Coherent Review.

That CM Punk return was so noteworthy, it blew this entire episode out of the water. That’s it. That’s the opening statement.  Images via WWE.com   Edge Wasn't Playing When He Said That He'll Put Seth Into Darkness.  The show started off with the Rated R superstar saying that Rollins has made the guy find his heart when the blood runs black.  In other words, he'll beat the shit out of Rollins at slamming of summer.  Speaking of "the blood runs black", after Seth Rollins gave a speech on how he can't be on Sethy's level, the man that says "drip" more times than a white dude that streams on Twitch, was covered in black liquid following Gangrel's theme song playing in the background.  Edge ain't f**king around. I appreciated the uniqueness of the segment and how it was a tribute to WWE's continuity (which if you've been watching WWE for a longer period of time then you'll know that WWE acknowledging their storytelling cohesion ...

WWE NXT Takeover: Toronto | My Coherent Review.

Another month or so, another great NXT Takeover event courtesy of the NXT creative team filled with top-notch in-ring action and storytelling. I know it feels tiresome when you heard people praise highly talk about the Takeover shows but trust me they are that good.  The Street Profits vs The Undisputed Era for the NXT Tag Team Championship. During the match, Montez Ford delivered the people's elbow after hitting a spinebuster on Bobby Fish. The match ended with a frog splash from Montez Ford and The Street Profits continues to celebrate as tag team champions.  I'm very conflicted with this decision mainly because I don't want to see more okay matches between The Forgotten Sons and Danny Burch and Oney Lorcan but I'm going to be optimistic hoping that it's not the case.  Io Shirai vs Candice Lerae.  Io's theme song is simple yet badass at the same time (no shit, Omar). The match started off with Candice rushing to the ring and brawled on the outs...

The 5 News Week: Quick Predictions On Wrestlemania: Backlash.

Hello, my fellow wrestling fans and welcome to the 5 news week. The post where I report 5 major or minor pro wrestling news, rumours and spoilers of the week that I don't have time to do it separately.  Without further ado, here are the 5 news week.   A Brief Thoughts On AEW Dynamite.  For the first time on this very series, I am going to briefly discuss my thoughts on AEW Dynamite and it was decent for the most part. I do have some perspectives on a few key things.  Most notably, that Cody Rhodes promo which by the way, was without exaggeration, one of the worst PROMOS I've ever witnessed as a 14 year veteran in the wrestling fandom.  The overall dialogue was an example of American imperialism and without a little or too much propaganda (while having the basic understanding of American imperialism), it exposed the very dated nature of the "America vs foreign heel" storyline.  Let's move on to the positives. Miro's booking in recent months has been exc...
