WWE RAW 27/8/18 | My Coherent Review.

RAW was a decent show in my opinion. Not a great show but not an offensive episode to watch. Why you ask? Well, I'm gonna give you what's good, what's ok and what's bad. Here we go.

WHAT'S GOOD.

The opening segment

Mr. Monster in the Bank mocks Reigns for getting “his boys” to protect him last week.

I really like this segment. Roman Reigns has held up pretty well on the mic in my opinion. Braun Strowman announcing his cash in for the championship at a hell in a cell match.  Dolph and Drew coming out and baron announcing a tag match was generic RAW stale formula but it was a good way to start the show in my opinion.

Seth Rollins vs Owens

First off, what a promo by Kevin Owens bro.  So good especially when he spoke French and pissed off the Toronto crowd. Absolute GOLD. The match was FREAKING FANTASTIC in my opinion.

Seth delivering a triple suicide dives looks awesome, Kevin Owens doing a brutal looking crossface, Kevin Owens delivering a stunner to Seth.  So many near falls.

The match ends with Owens missing a moonsault and Seth immediately delivered the curb stomp, puns Owens to the count of three and retains the championship. Again, what a match. After the match, Kevin took the microphone and declares that he quits. I don't what was that but it is interesting.

Elias Concert

Elias was you know, doing his thing until Trish Stratus returns and their interaction was GOLD but that let to a Natalya and Alicia Fox match which I talked about it if you scroll down to my what's ok.

WHAT'S OK

Baron Corbin vs Finn Balor

It makes sense that he made the match considering that he's been asking for Kurt Angle the match last week and him losing clean to the demon at SummerSlam.

The match itself was decent but the Toronto crowd made me laugh with their chants like "Corbin sucks" and "you can't wrestle". The match ended in a DQ but Corbin restarted the match into a no DQ and wins the match quickly with an end of days.

What if the match has a stipulation that if baron loses then he loses his active GM role or something like make it interesting in order to make this feud have a somewhat satisfying conclusion.

Sasha Banks vs Dana Brooke

I thought Bayley looks ridiculous with that glasses but the match itself was quick. Sasha wins with the bank statement.

The B team vs The Revival

Forgettable match. The revival wins the match but they did cut a good promo about the tag division.

Natalya vs Alicia Fox

The match was quick. Natalya wins with the sharpshooter. A backstage segment happen between Trish, Ronda, Natalya and the Bella twins and they (the Bella twins)  are back for in-ring action next week against the riott squad and all I can say is meh.

WHAT'S BAD

Dean Ambrose vs Jinder Mahal

Man this match of RAW is a great example of why the third hour is a straight ZZZZZZ. Dean wins with the dirty deeds.

Bobby Lashley vs The Ascension

First off, how's facing the ascension in any way a "punishment" for Lashley. Anyways, Bobby Lashley wins with the dominator.

The match was meh but that ending was infuriating. One of the WORST Ending I've seen all year. Really, Braun Strowman turns heel? What a backwards thinking by creative. Why? Why? Why? Why? This was so damn stupid. You know you can build that match with both guys being babyfaces right?

Sounds off in the comments below on what do you think about RAW last night and follow the blog for honest pro wrestling opinions. Anyways, stay safe smarks.

WWE RAW 9/5/22 | A Coherent Review.

Yes, I didn't review Wrestlemania Backlash because one, I knocked out after a long day and two, why not? I did watch the show and it's like an episode of a Telltale game in that it's short and sweet.  How was the red brand this week?  Even though Wrestlemania Backlash is over, it still feels like I'm watching a build toward that show. It's like eating yesterday's leftovers with some fresh salad on the side, ya know. I'm hoping Hell In A Cell concludes everything.  The Street Profits vs RKBRO For The RAW Tag Team Championship.  Hey, look. A good tag team match, playas! Yes, they've fought each other more times than Call Of Duty sequels but like I said, I enjoyed it. RKBRO retained the championship with an RKO from Riddle to Montez Ford.  Rhea Ripley Is Now An Evil Goth Girl.  She said, "f**k them, kids". Also, why's Edge rocking the "I believe in white genocide" look? Ripley had a match with Liv Morgan and of course, she won the w...

WWE Smackdown Season Premiere | A Coherent Review.

It is the season premiere of Friday night Smackdown even though WWE doesn't have an offseason.  Nevertheless, it was a decent program and had a WAY better ending than whatever the hell of an ending last year's premiere of Friday night Smackdown showed.  There isn't a women's match this week and all of the AEW fanboys are looking at this like, "sEe, WWE dOeSn't feATuRe wOmeN'S mAtChEs aLsO."  pictures via WWE.com The Season Premiere Of Smackdown 2020.  The show started off with Triple H and Stephanie McMahon highlighting the scheduled matches for Smackdown as well as the superstars.  Chaos then ensued thanks to a huge brawl. Then, the "super freak" Lars Sullivan came out and delivered the freak accident to Shorty G.  Somehow, Jeff Hardy attacked him and that led to the opening match of the night between Lars and Jeff.  You know, I'm kind of surprised that two white people in McMahon and Hemsley knew who Rick James is.  Maybe I'm igno...

AEW Dynamite Blood And Guts | A Coherent Review.

Another watchable episode of AEW Dynamite but this time, it features the first-ever Blood And Guts encounter. Kenny Omega And Michael Nakazawa vs Jon Moxley And Eddie Kingston.  Don Callis announced that Michael Nakazawa is going to face Mox and Kingston all by himself only for Kenny Omega to show up and compete in the match anyway.  A weird booking choice but I'm just nitpicking.  What wasn't weird was how the match ended with a double team dragon suplex into a clothesline from the duo of Mox and Kingston to Nakazawa.  Then, a beatdown ensued from Omega's Posse to Jonny Mox and Eddie Kingston. The Young Bucks vs Jon Moxley and Eddie Kingston? I'm down.  It was revealed later in the night that a number one contenders match for the AEW championship is set up for next week's show between Orange Cassidy and Pac. I'm assuming AEW is saving the Hangman Page and Kenny Omega encounter for All Out?  Either way, AEW has the potential to tell an interesting story of ...
