The Coherent Wrestling Wednesdays: The BatSh*t Crazy That Is The Park Lot Brawl.

The Coherent Wrestling Wednesdays is back and the last time I posted a "Coherent Wrestling Wednesdays" article was a few weeks before Takeover: 30.  Yikes. That's a long time. But, in any case, this has been quite a notable night for both programmings.  We get to see 2 great tag team matches but the one from AEW definitely stood out amongst the rest.  With that being said, AEW was a better show than NXT not just because of that parking lot brawl.  But rather it was a show that had a big emphasis on characters serving the story if that makes any sense?  Also, is it just me or is it that the gauntlet eliminator match for next week's NXT show sounds a lot like the Aztec warfare match from Lucha Underground?  some pictures via WWE.com NXT  Highlights.  Tommaso Ciampa Shows Us Why He Is Known As The Psycho Killer.  Ciampa won the match against Desmond Troy to which Jake Atlas came out to tell Ciampa that he will show him how dangerous Atlas can be...

The 5 News Week: What's With The Reports Of AEW "Kicking Journalists Out Of The Post Media Scrum"?, More WWE Releases Are Coming!?

Hello, my fellow wrestling fans and welcome to the 5 news week. The post where I report 5 major or minor news of the week that I don't have time to do it separately. Without further ado, here are the 5 news week. What's With The Reports Of AEW "Kicking Journalists Out Of The Post Media Scrum"?  Let's talk about this news because that is an example of how interpreting a narrative through one lens is extremely dangerous.  Last week, AEW All Out happened (click here to read my review for it) and so did the post-show scrum.  The aftermath of it saw a few publications running a story of All Elite Wrestling "removing scrum access to journalists that ask challenging questions". In the article itself, they quoted a now-deleted tweet from a Bleacher Report writer, Jonathan Snowden saying:  'They are actively removing access from people who ask any challenging questions to them.' Snowden then got hate for it and people were claimi...

WWE Smackdown 11/9/20 | A Coherent Review.

Smackdown is decent this week.  But, I will say, they (Smackdown) have been by far the interesting show going into Clash Of Champions, unlike Monday Night RAW.  pictures via WWE.com Roman Reigns' Wrecking Everyone Is Paul Heyman's Spoiler (no sh*t, Omar). Heyman started the show saying that Roman Reigns accomplished his goal to not only beat up people but as well as taking the championship that Reigns never lost.  Heyman called out Jey Uso and Uso brought up the history between Jey's family and Paul Heyman.  The history he was referring to was the fact that Paul Heyman managed The Usos' father, Rikishi back when Rikishi was part of the Head Skrinkers aka The Samoan Swat Team.  King Corbin and Sheamus came out pretty much talking smack (see what just I did there?) about Jey Uso as number one contender.  Uce then challenged the bad guys to a tag team match against himself and the big dog later in the night.  T...

AEW Dynamite 2/9/20 | A Coherent Review.

AEW Dynamite aka the exact opposite of Monday Night RAW in the sense that it was eventful.  What an episode. This was a damn good pro wrestling television.  Before the intro was queued, Chris Jericho and MJF were complimenting each other and once both men left, they said "what a loser".  That was creative and funny.  Jurassic Express In Jungle Boy And Luchasaurus vs The Lucha Brothers.  What a way to kick off the program. That was a fun tag team match.  The good guys won the match with a roll up by Jungle Boy.  The Jurassic Express are on a roll as of late with a great match against The Young Bucks and now a win against a notable team.  It is a matter of time whether they get a tag team title opportunity or not. Eddie Kingston saw The Lucha Brothers having a disagreement to which Eddie brought the brothers together on the same side.  Jake Roberts says in a filmed promo that Lance Archer is not here t...

WWE NXT Super Tuesday 2 | A Coherent Review

Apologies for missing NXT Super Tuesday numbra Uno. I had a bad anxiety attack. But, don't worry, I'm doing well now.  How was NXT Super Tuesday 2? I enjoyed it. It is that simple.  pictures via WWE.com Finn Balor vs Adam Cole For The Vacant NXT Championship.  Yes, the big main event encounter like this NXT championship match just opened the show.  Nevertheless, it was a fun match. Cole at point, did a quick but impressive shining wizard.  The match concluded with 1916 from the top rope and the prince is the third ever superstar to win the NXT title twice.  Balor was the right person to win the championship simply because Adam Cole had a 300+ day reign as champ.  I think it's time for someone else to be known as THE NXT champion.  After the match, Adam Cole congratulated Finn with the two sweet hand gesture.  Babyface Adam Cole? Thumbs up.  Shotzi Blackheart And Io Shirai Beat up Both Ro...
