WWE Smackdown 17/4/20 | A Coherent Review.

Ever since the build towards Wrestlemania 36, Smackdown got better with their stories and this episode proves that opinion to be true.  This year's Money In The Bank ladder matches are going to be different, to say the least. It's taking place in WWE's main headquarters in Stamford, Connecticut where the main objective of the match is to grab the briefcase all the way up on the roof of the main headquarters which was apparently filmed. This could either be the greatest thing of all time or the worst.  I will give them credit, it is something different. They're definitely taking a risk with not pursuing the traditional Money In The Bank formula that we're used to seeing and honestly, I appreciate that.  Also, rest easy Howard Finkel. Definitely the GOAT of ring announcing.  The Moment Of Bliss. Special Guest, Braun Strowman.  The man that just pulled out a "you being poor is your fault" speech, Braun Strowman complimented the hosts for winning...

WWE RAW 13/4/20 | A Coherent Review.

The Florida men in government announced that WWE is now " an essential business " which after reading an article about this, my anger was World War Hulk level.  So, according to that goof of a governor, WWE's storylines are on the list of important things like groceries, shelter and basic human necessities.  That is disgusting on so many f**king levels and I could write a 3000-word essay as to why that is but those fools will probably say, " it is what it is ". Anywho, how was Monday Night RAW this week? A solid episode actually. A couple of nitpicks but by far, the worst thing on this show is Jerry "The King" Lawler's commentary.  And yes, he's pretty bad the weeks that he's in but this episode highlighted his worst hits on the commentary desk that is worth a top ten list of its own. Also, why's WWE bringing him up for commentary like isn't he at risk due to his old age?  Drew McIntyre's First RAW Appearanc...

The 5 News Week: Wrestlemania 38 To Be Hosted In Tampa!?, Mauro Ranallo Doing Commentary At His Home!?

Hello, my fellow wrestling fans and welcome to the 5 news week. The post where I report 5 .major or minor news of the week that I don't have time to do it separately. Without further ado, here are the 5 news week. Wrestlemania 38 To Be Hosted In Tampa!?  This year's Wrestlemania was supposed to take place in the Tampa Bay area but they decided to nix that for obvious reasons (No sh*t, Omar). WrestleVotes has stated that the 38th edition of the biggest wrestling show of the year will take place at Raymond James stadium reading…..  Now that the weekend that “was to be” has passed, I can say that Tampa Bay will be in the running to host #Wrestlemania 38 in 2022. All the initial legwork is obviously done, with the city still very much eager to host the event. Might be a shoe in. Time will tell. — WrestleVotes (@WrestleVotes) April 6, 2020 In WWE's Wrestlemania earnings, they contained the economic impact of the particular region. For instance, last year...

The Coherent Wrestling Wednesdays: Johnny Gargano vs Tommaso Ciampa. One Final Beat, Cody Advances In The TNT Championship.

A night that is highlighted by two amazing women's matches, NXT and AEW Dynamite did a great job on delivering a superb episode. Because of how good both shows were, my favourite program out of 2 shows is a tie.  So, congrats to WWE and AEW fans, now you don't have to worry about me "shilling" on either show but what I expect from wrestling fans. A wise man once said, "like what you like, don't be a d*ck".  NXT    Highlights. Io Shirai vs Mia Yim vs Dakota Kai vs Chelsea Green vs Candice LeRae vs Tegan Nox In A Ladder Match. Winner Gets To Face Charlotte Flair For The NXT Women's Championship.  During the number one contender’s ladder match, Green delivered a double bulldog on both Io Shirai and Candice LeRae.  Nox and Kai went back and forth with straight rights and lefts to which Tegan ends this exchange with a chokeslam which is a rare move to see from a women's wrestler at least in WWE.  Green's business assoc...

WWE RAW 6/4/20 | A Coherent Review.

Wrestlemania 36 2 parts edition is now in the history books and it was a fine two nights of a fun professional wrestling show.  Wrestlemania is over but the weekend itself doesn't end there because I have the Monday Night RAW after Wrestlemania episode to talk about and it was one of the weakest RAW after Wrestlemania shows in quite some time.  A few highlights in between but for the most part, the show lacked excitement. I know there are pro wrestling episodes that can pull off without a crowd (last week's episode was a great example of that) however, this show in particular, absolutely needed an enthusiastic crowd that expresses moments like no other show of the year can.  Liv Morgan vs Asuka.  In my Wrestlemania part 2 review, I joked about how I regretted watching Liv Morgan's last match with Natalya. It's crazy how 24 hours makes a difference because she had a good opener with Asuka.  Morgan did a middle rope code-breaker of some sort on As...

WWE Wrestlemania 36 Night Two | A Coherent Review.

Wrestlemania 36 part 2 created 3 of the most memorable moments in the show's history and as a result, night numero dos is even better than the first (which you can click here to read the whole thing). Unlike yesterday's show, I actually did watch the pre-show match between Natalya and Liv Morgan and I extremely regretted watching it. Rhea Ripley vs Charlotte Flair For The NXT Women's Championship. This may be unpopular but I'm not a fan of Ripley's Vegeta inspired outfit. It's just something about it that doesn't fit her overall persona. Hell, I'm not the biggest " Dragon Ball Z " fan but at the end of the day, I'm just nitpicking. Throughout most of the match, Charlotte inflicted damage on Rhea's leg for obvious reasons like locking in the figure 8 but with further pain. I appreciate simple storytelling like this and with an empty area, it makes that spot more effective. Charlotte Flair successfully completed that task be...
