Wrestlemania 36 part 2 created 3 of the most memorable moments in the show's history and as a result, night numero dos is even better than the first (which you can click here to read the whole thing).
Unlike yesterday's show, I actually did watch the pre-show match between Natalya and Liv Morgan and I extremely regretted watching it.
This may be unpopular but I'm not a fan of Ripley's Vegeta inspired outfit. It's just something about it that doesn't fit her overall persona. Hell, I'm not the biggest "Dragon Ball Z" fan but at the end of the day, I'm just nitpicking. Throughout most of the match, Charlotte inflicted damage on Rhea's leg for obvious reasons like locking in the figure 8 but with further pain.
I appreciate simple storytelling like this and with an empty area, it makes that spot more effective. Charlotte Flair successfully completed that task because she won the match with the figure 8. I actually don't mind this finish.
While yes, having Ripley win will be huge for her, Charlotte winning and staying in NXT to face the likes of Io Shirai, Mia Yim, Candice LeRae, Dakota Kai, Tegan Nox, Bianca Belair (she lost to Charlotte on an episode of NXT, unfortunately but you get the idea) benefits three things. The brand, the performers she's working with and the championship.
What I'm hoping is that Charlotte's reign is sorta like John Cena's run as US champion. Full of great matches and memorable feuds. Oh, and the match was great.
This feud literally had no story going into it so it's pretty much a Monday Night RAW episode match on PPV. Aleister wins with Black mass.
By the way, Money In The Bank 2020 is happening based on the commercial being aired throughout the night and since Smackdown is reportedly filming their shows in a secret location, that PPV may tape the show there in Kane's hometown of parts unknown.
Forget Drew McIntyre vs Brock Lesnar or even when Steve Austin vs The Rock main evented two Wrestlemanias, this is the main event that defines generations.
At the end of the match, Mandy Rose showed up, slapped Sonya Deville's face and low blown Ziggler which led to Otis hitting the caterpillar to win the match.
But then, Rose and Otis looked at each other and they kissed. HELL F**KING YES! If there's one thing we've learned from this is that it is possible to conquer your dreams (no f'ing sh*t, Omar). I've seen a crap ton of romantic movies in my lifetime and this storyline tops all of them.
WWE should produce lower midcard stories like this and for a long time, WWE has avoided that for the most part. The resources are there and if their upcoming stories in that division top this entire plot then we're in for a treat.
This bout was basically WWE giving us the tour inside the performance centre but the last man standing match edition and I've seen people say the exact same thing. The difference is that I enjoyed this but first the highlights.
During Orton's entrance, Randy attacked Edge from behind which led to further damage onto Edge. Minutes after that inside the gym, Edge somehow came back up and nails Orton with straight rights. They eventually fought in the garage with red lighting in the background which for some reason, reminded me of Edge's vignette back in 1998.
In the garage, Edge puts Randy on the table, sets up the ladder, climbs the ladder and hits the elbow drop on Randy through the table.
Edge and Orton were on top of the production truck and when Orton was laying on the chair, Edge used another chair to strike on Randy's head. The ref then counted all the way to the number 10 and Edge wins this match.
Like I mentioned earlier, this was a good match. Was it slow? Yea. Did the commentary help in progressing the match faster? No, but that's how a brawl between two former friends now turned foes, should be but in a few years, I may watch this match again and hate it because I'm a wrestling fan, what do you think?
The host of Wrestlemania, Rob Gronkowski wins the 24/7 championship after jumping himself from the top of the area onto the rest of the roster to which Titus O'Neil replaced Rob as the host. Cool.
This was meh. The Street Profits retained the titles with the frog splash to which Theory, Garza and Zelina Vega attacked the winners of the match but Vega was taken out by Montez's wife, Bianca Belair.
If this indeed leads to Belair becoming a permanent member of the RAW roster, then I certainly do not mind this besides that women's division needs some star power you know what I'm saying?
The entire participants of the match eliminated Tamina. Bayley and Sasha did the smart thing and worked together to eliminate Naomi.
Evans eliminated Banks but that spot will bite her later because Banks delivered the backstabber and Bayley hits the facebuster to still be called "Smackdown women's champion". Another meh match of the night.
This match, like the Boneyard match, was wild but in a great way. So many references to John Cena's career like his 2002 debut attire, Doctor of thuganomics.
Hell, there were even some references of WWE golden era aka Saturday Night's main event and the NWO where they mentioned John's heel turn while the "John Cena sucks" chants were repeated in the background.
The match concluded with the sister Abigail that Bray wanted to hit for 6 long years and then a mandible claw for good measure.
This was everything that a match like this needed to be portrayed on screen. It was a nice shout out to not only the history but the people who know said history.
This is the first time that a WWE championship was the main event at Wrestlemania since 2016. It's crazy that it's been 4 years but to be fair, the match wasn't great so I don't blame them. Drew ate 3 F5s however, that didn't stop McIntyre to nail the claymore kick on Brock to win the championship.
Finally, after many moons, Drew McIntyre is now your WWE champion and I rarely use the word "deserve" when talking about a fictional piece of content but well deserved to McIntyre.
He worked his a** off to be where he's at today and it's inspiring. It proves that hard work, consistency and dedication does lead to success in whatever field you're entering into.
His career had his ups and downs but right now I as a lifelong wrestling fan, will celebrate his big up in winning his first WWE world championship. A toast to the Scotsmen.
So, to recap for all of you slow mofos.
Like: Drew McIntyre winning the championship, firefly funhouse match, Rhea Ripley vs Charlotte Flair, Edge vs Randy Orton, the ending to the Otis vs Dolph Ziggler match.
Didn't like: I guess the 24/7 championship shenanigans?
The question is, what do you think about Wrestlemania 36 night two? Put any of your thoughts in the comments below and follow me on twitter @omartheplayaguy. Anyways, stay home and take care of yourselves.

Rhea Ripley vs Charlotte Flair For The NXT Women's Championship.

John Cena vs Bray Wyatt In A Firefly Funhouse Match.
This match, like the Boneyard match, was wild but in a great way. So many references to John Cena's career like his 2002 debut attire, Doctor of thuganomics.
