WWE Smackdown 10/12/21 | A Coherent Review.

Yet another meaningless episode of Smackdown. That’s it. That’s the intro.

Brook Laser Beam Still Beats Up Arab Alan Moore.

I'm just going to have my unfunny but insightful headlines describe wrestling segments huh (at the very least, I'm hoping this made Fightful's Jeremy Lambert proud)?

All lame banter aside, this build for the universal championship is an eh so far. At least the segment featured hot nurses.

Shinsuke Nakamura And Rick Boogs vs Los Lotharios.

My man, Shinsuke Nakamura might as well be called the Intercontinental championship belt collector because he hasn't done jack with it.

The title has been defended so little, Brock Lesnar would be jealous due to the fact that he's been aiming at the wrong championship the whole damn time!

I was hoping for a Los Lotharios win but that didn't happen as Shinsuke pinned Humberto Carrillo after delivering the Kinshasa.

King Xavier Woods has unveiled his new crown looking like he's wearing a piece of Goldar's gear or something.

Brock and then later Drew McIntyre, showed their disdain towards Adam Pearce's authority. How so? Because you guys are jealous that he's HOT!?

Sonya Deville Aka The Karen Tried To Once Again Screw Over Naomi Until……..

Xia Li made her first in-ring main roster appearance by aiding Naomi into taking out the mostly white trash.

Xia looked pretty impressive here. Will see if that presence keeps on going for weeks or months to come (the answer is probably not).

RKBRO meets the cast of Jackass: Forever. What a perfect word to call Matt Riddle.

Toni Storm vs Charlotte Flair.

Ah. The classic "WWE GM Mode/Universe Mode" booking in the sense that the rivalry has to have at least one TV match before the actual match at a PPV.

Look, while this is better than shoving pies, the usual overcomplicated booking has soured me and it's a shame because I believe the idea of this feud is fantastic.

However, it does make you wonder if Charlotte Flair was the person that threw the pie at Kevin Owens 5 years ago considering that she threw the pie first at Toni a few weeks back and the fact that she was on that episode of RAW.

RKBRO vs The New Day vs The Usos.

This match was a meaningless fun tag team match, Playas!

The New Day won the match by pinning the current holder of the blue tag belts, The Usos.

Sheamus vs Drew McIntyre.

Ridge Holland wasn't there for his new Irish bestie, Sheamus and all I can say is, Sheamus shouldn't have backstabbed Drew like that earlier this year. The unfortunate lack of distractions from the outside (sarcasm of course) gave Drew the opportunity to defeat Sheamus clean as glass.

So, to recap for all of you slow mofos.

Like: RKBRO vs The New Day vs The Usos, Xia Li’s debut.

Didn’t like: The booking of the Toni Storm and Charlotte Flair match, another meaningless show.

WWE Smackdown Season Premiere | A Coherent Review.

It is the season premiere of Friday night Smackdown even though WWE doesn't have an offseason.  Nevertheless, it was a decent program and had a WAY better ending than whatever the hell of an ending last year's premiere of Friday night Smackdown showed.  There isn't a women's match this week and all of the AEW fanboys are looking at this like, "sEe, WWE dOeSn't feATuRe wOmeN'S mAtChEs aLsO."  pictures via WWE.com The Season Premiere Of Smackdown 2020.  The show started off with Triple H and Stephanie McMahon highlighting the scheduled matches for Smackdown as well as the superstars.  Chaos then ensued thanks to a huge brawl. Then, the "super freak" Lars Sullivan came out and delivered the freak accident to Shorty G.  Somehow, Jeff Hardy attacked him and that led to the opening match of the night between Lars and Jeff.  You know, I'm kind of surprised that two white people in McMahon and Hemsley knew who Rick James is.  Maybe I'm igno...

The Coherent Wrestling Wednesdays: Fyter Fest 2020 Came Back Swinging?

Last week, on this very series, I said that I enjoyed Great American Bash better than Fyter Fest.  Well, this week is the exact opposite. AEW came in swinging with night 2 Fyter Fest.  I've not liked a Dynamite episode in several weeks so it's nice to see that the show finally executed a great show since God knows how long.   NXT      Highlights (at least in my opinion because wrestling is subjective).  Mia Yim vs Candice LeRae In A Street Fight. The match went underway after Yim quickly attacked Candice LeRae during LeRae's entrance.  In the crowd area, Candice tried to nail the suplex on the table but Yim got out of that position and kicked her to which she landed through the table.  The Streetfight concluded with LeRae striking Yim with the brass knuckles followed by a swinging neck from the top of the table onto a bunch of chairs and that's how LeRae defeats the HBIC.  A fun opening match even though...

THE Coherent AEW Take: Christian Dior, Dior. Eddie Kingston up in all the stores!

Ever since AEW Dynamite was on Saturday night for a bit, I've been WAY behind on AEW content so excuse my ignorance. And It's Full Gear weekend which means another PPV that would last longer than the Snyder cut.  Sheeit, I'll bet the collar and elbow hold alone from the Hangman Page and Kenny Omega championship match, is longer than the entire Queen's Crown tournament.  As far as how I feel about both programs this week, well.  They did an okay job on building towards the final AEW PPV of the year this Saturday. Rampage.   Highlights.  Bryan Danielson vs Anthony Bowens.  And no, the highlight doesn't include Max Caster's verses. I'll rather listen to f**king Riff Raff than Max Caster's dig on anything.  The worst part, people are probably going to look at this and say, "can't wait for a Max Caster's appearance on Wild 'N Out!"  With that being said, this opening match was good. Danielson wins with the rebel lock.  Eddie Kingston (wi...
