NXT Halloween Havoc 2021 | A Coherent Review.

The 2021 edition of NXT's Halloween Havoc event didn't live up to last year's show which is why the show felt like an episode of Smackdown back in 2013/2014 with Halloween decorations.

This ain't a Halloween Havoc show without the presence of Chucky (aka Chunky if you're grammarly.com) and pretty much, he just gave the rundown for the show's match card.

Toxic Attraction vs Io Shirai And Zoey Stark vs Persia Pirotta And Indi Hartwell For The NXT Women's Tag Team Championship In A Ladder Match.

An enjoyable opening match although Io Shirai took a nasty fall on the ladder that was set up between the announce table and the ring. Hoping she's fine and well.

NXT continues to build the so-called "momentum" for the Toxic Attraction as Gigi Dolin climbed up the ladder to win the tag belts for the very first time.

I mean, considering the division has no tag teams, why not give them the belts besides Zoey Stark and Io Shirai are better off being solo acts anyways.

Another women's championship that happened in the show was an NXT women's championship between Raquel Gonzalez and Mandy Rose which ended with a title victory for Rose. Post-match saw the surprise return of Dakota Kai. That woman been ready for the main roster. Now, it begs the question, why keep her off TV for months?

Joe Gacy vs Malik Blade.

Joe Gacy (aka if an anarchist found inner peace) defeated his opponent of the night in Malik Blade thanks to some assistance from the formerly known, Parker Bordeaux.

I don't know if that's Parker Bordeaux or a f**king extra in Blade Trinity. Either way, the gimmick is a no for me, dawg.

In a video promo, Kay Lee Ray was like, "GIMME SOME OF THE RESPECT THING, PEOPLE!" Okay?

A Diamond Mine Open Challenge Which Was Answered By…….

2021's NXT Breakout tournament competitor, Odyssey Jones aka a rematch from 205 Live according to my research because ya boy doesn't watch NXT's version of Main Event.

Of course, Roderick Strong won the match due to a bit of that "distraction finish" you know?

YOU GET TO BECOME A VAMPIRE, YOU GET TO BECOME A VAMPIRE, EVERYONE GETS TO BECOME A VAMPIRE.

After LA Knight and Grayson Waller were arguing on some car problems to which NXT's newest addition, Solo Sikoa took out Waller while Knight was like, "I got no problem with you, big man because I'm out".

First impressions? The dude is really, really, really impressive but for some reason, Roman Reigns would look at Solo and say, "I'm disappointed. He doesn't take a lot of Ls for me".

Msk vs Imperium For The NXT Tag Team Championship In A Lumberjack Match.

Because of the spinning wheel, this title match is, of course, a lumberjack match aka the worst wrestling match stipulation ever right behind the San Francisco 49ers match and the blindfold match although a blindfold would be beneficial for viewers of Monday Night RAW or the Venom movies.

I will say this, that was probably the best lumberjack match I've ever seen because the bout was fun to watch.

Imperium is the new NXT tag team championship and I don't hate this choice. It's a long time coming, honestly.

There were multi scenes that showcased the Halloween party which is so 1990s even with the pickup lines from Cameron Grimes and Grayson Waller. Lame!

Speaking of the Halloween spookiness, Carmelo Hayes and Trick Williams (for I sec, I called him "Trick Daddy". Please don't judge) went to a haunted house with the intention of getting Carmelo Hayes' NXT North American championship belt.

This entire segment might as well be a sequel to " Escape The Undertaker" because the idea of two white dudes haunting two black people is f**king offensive bruh.

But, at least Carmelo Hayes got the title back.

Tommaso Ciampa vs Bron Breakker For The NXT Championship.

A solid main event encounter. However, since we're in a new era of NXT, I think giving the title to Bron is a wise idea but unfortunately, that didn't happen.

Bron did look decent in defeat though as he legit went balls to balls with Ciampa. Don't know where Bron goes from here but I'm hoping that NXT has bigger things for the young lad.

So, to recap for all of you slow mofos.

Like: NXT women's championship triple threat ladder match, Imperium vs Msk for the NXT tag team championship.

Didn't like: The Halloween party segments were lame and uninteresting, Joe f**king Gacy.

WWE Wrestlemania 26 | A Coherent Review.

I've teased a mystery review on my Facebook page (which you can click here to follow us) and that mystery has now been unveiled. It's Wrestlemania 26. This review was delayed and was supposed to be up last Monday but at least is now up. Also, The first draft of this review was 7 pages long so strap in. By far, the longest review on this very website.  I thought it would be fitting to review a Wrestlemania from a decade back and how do I feel about it? It was a show that if you watched it, you're most likely going to have a good time. It was a mix of great things but terrible things at the same time as most shows.  The 26th edition of Wrestlemania took place in the University of Phoenix Stadium in the Phoenix suburb of Glendale, Arizona on March 28th, 2010.  The commentators were Micheal Cole, Jerry Lawler and Matt Striker. Honestly, Striker was pretty good and a far better colour commentator than Lawler was on this show (even today, Lawler is still bleh on commen...

My Coherent Wrestling Wednesdays: Three Big Returns, A Great Inaugural Women's Championship Match.

If you have been a fan of this site since January, then you'll know that I've completely rebooted my review process and now, I'm doing that again.  Don't worry, the format for my RAW, Smackdown and PPV reviews will still be the same but not on Wednesdays. So, here it is, My Coherent Wrestling Wednesdays.  NXT The Highlights. Adam Cole vs Matt Riddle For The NXT Championship.  A match that opened this episode of the yellow brand, the original bro and the leader of The Undisputed Era tore the house down.  Whether it's Cole reversing the fireman's carry from Riddle into a backstabber, Cole hitting a Panama sunrise twice, a floating bro or the crowd chanting "Adam Cole, bro", it was a visual statement by NXT that the yellow brand is THE brand to watch.  Unfortunately,  Riddle felt short and ate the last shot but there was another highlight I wanna talk about….. Finn Balor Returns To N. X. T.  It's not a typo my friends, Finn ...
