Retribution No More!?

If you've watched this week's Monday Night RAW (I don't blame you if you don't watch the show AT ALL), then you'll notice that the leader of Retribution, Mustafa Ali isn't too happy with the group's recent outcomes of their matches.

This led to an increase of talks particularly from Cagesideseats as to whether the stable are no more.

Here's what the site had to say about it:

"The early speculation after Raw is that RETRIBUTION may indeed be heading for a split sooner rather than later"

It's an obvious conclusion and to be honest, I'm all for it. It's about time that Mustafa Ali, Mia Yim, Dominic Djakovic are to quote Jason Derulo, "ridin solo".

However, take this speculation with a grain of salt.

The Young Bucks' Dad Wanted To Cut Himself For An Angle!?

Obviously, the Jackson brothers and Inner Circle's Chris Jericho and MJF are currently feuding for the AEW world tag team championship that will culminate at Revolution next Sunday.

During the rivalry, Young Bucks saw their father beat up thanks to Chris Jericho and MJF.

And, their father wanted to go the extreme route by trying to "legitimately cut himself open for this week’s angle" but fake blood was utilized. At least that's what Bryan Alvarez said on Wrestling Observer Live aka the most positive person in wrestling media.

Shout out to the pops for the dedication.

Lana On WWE Not Wanting Her To Wrestle Before Her Wrestling Debut.

The woman that like Kofi Kingston, mysteriously lost the accent, was interviewed by The Independent.

During the discussion, Lana talked about her debut match at Wrestlemania 32's pre-show and before that, she wasn't allowed to be inside the squared-circle as a competitor:

“I have been trying to get this opportunity way before [it happened]. I was training at live events or maybe working at live events but not being able to get that spot on television.

Now I’ve been given that opportunity and [I’m] trying to make the most of it and trying to run with it. I believe that luck is when opportunity meets those that are prepared. So I was constantly coming in early, training at live events and not seeing television, hoping that one day, I would get that opportunity and that, when I do, I’m as prepared as I can be.

The cool thing for me is that I can take the WWE Universe with me on my journey… it’s really wild, my very first match in my entire life happened at WrestleMania, it happened in front of you.

WWE wouldn’t allow me to have a match before WrestleMania, so [it was] in front of 101,000 people. Early on I had to accept that I was going to fail in front of you guys, and that I was going to have to fail in front of you many times.

That was really hard for me because I don’t like failing, I want to be good. As an in-ring competitor I had to accept that I’m going to learn as I go, that I’m going to fail and that’s going to be part of my journey.

I hope to encourage people that it’s okay to fail as long as we learn and don’t make that mistake twice. [I] really had to change my mindset to go on this journey and I just hope to encourage others to chase their dreams – and to know that when you fail, you’re not alone.”

Anybody at least most of us, can relate to Lana’s struggles and her chase to the top. The foundation was right there! Looking back at her arc later last year though, It actually could’ve been a LOT better than what was executed.

Damian Priest Is Reportedly "Going To Be Protected Probably After Wrestlemania".

Damian Priest must be really happy being showcased alongside the most over figure in WWE according to WWE Shop, Bad Bunny.

From Dave Meltzer and Wrestling Observer Radio, WWE officials “like” the guy and he’s “gonna be protected for sure until WrestleMania and probably after.”

He did mention that Vinne Mac could change his mind but as of this moment, Priest is in a “good spot” (thanks to Cagesideseats for the quotes).

John Morrison Dealing With An Injury?

This is a piece of unfortunate news. The aforementioned Dave Meltzer stated this time on the Wrestling Observer Newsletter (from WrestlingInc) that Johnny Mundo is dealing with a knee injury coming out of this past week’s episode of Monday Night Raw.

Morrison tweeted out how the way he landed didn’t go as “pictured”.

I’m hoping It’s not serious and I wish him the speediest of recoveries.

What do you think about the news I just reported and follow me on the tweets @omartheplayaguy? Anyways, stay safe smarks.

WWE RAW 4/3/19 | My Coherent Review.

This go home show episode of RAW was decent actually. It made me wanna watch a waste of a PPV called Fastlane with higher expectations.  Opening Segment.  The show kicked off with the Big Dog for the second week in a row. Roman Reigns cut a promo basically saying that this is the fan's yard now and calls out Seth Rollins to the ring. Seth Rollins said that he's gonna take Roman's fight with leukaemia and use it as motivation to beat Brock Lesnar for the Universal Championship.  Roman Reigns replied by telling Seth “good luck” and Roman's wants the band to get back together. Seth Rollins was conflicted at first but later accepted it. Dean Ambrose comes out and he was hit by Elias with a guitar. Decent segment and I was expecting for Drew, Lashley and Corbin to come out but I'm glad that didn't happen. Finn Balor, Braun Strowman and Kurt Angle vs Baron Corbin, Bobby Lashley and Drew McIntyre.  This match was boring three weeks ago and this ...

WWE Smackdown Live 30/10/18 | My Coherent Review.

Smackdown Live yesterday was a skippable show other than the opening segment and match in my opinion. Now usually on my RAW/Smackdown Live review, I break down what's good, what's ok and what's bad. For the first time, I'm only gonna tell you what's ok given that this show was again a skippable show and here we go.  WHAT'S OK The opening segment  This is the probably one of if not most noteworthy moment this week mainly because as you might know, there were reports going around that John Cena and Daniel Bryan were out of Crown Jewel and the reports are indeed true and it makes sense, especially for John Cena considering that he's an actor now and he needs to maintain his PR status. The segment itself was decent. Loved both guys' intensity and that segment leads to a WWE championship match and speaking of which............. Daniel Bryan vs AJ Styles  Decent match. Expected a better from these two but again, decent nevertheless but...

AEW Dynamite Blood And Guts | A Coherent Review.

Another watchable episode of AEW Dynamite but this time, it features the first-ever Blood And Guts encounter. Kenny Omega And Michael Nakazawa vs Jon Moxley And Eddie Kingston.  Don Callis announced that Michael Nakazawa is going to face Mox and Kingston all by himself only for Kenny Omega to show up and compete in the match anyway.  A weird booking choice but I'm just nitpicking.  What wasn't weird was how the match ended with a double team dragon suplex into a clothesline from the duo of Mox and Kingston to Nakazawa.  Then, a beatdown ensued from Omega's Posse to Jonny Mox and Eddie Kingston. The Young Bucks vs Jon Moxley and Eddie Kingston? I'm down.  It was revealed later in the night that a number one contenders match for the AEW championship is set up for next week's show between Orange Cassidy and Pac. I'm assuming AEW is saving the Hangman Page and Kenny Omega encounter for All Out?  Either way, AEW has the potential to tell an interesting story of ...
