WWE RAW 10/2/20 | My Coherent Review.

Wrestlemania goes Hollywood……….again but this is not my quick thoughts about Wrestlemania going to Los Angeles for the first time in 15 years (that logo is great) but rather, a review for this week's Monday Night RAW (wow, I didn't know that).

The red brand delivered a solid show once again. As a matter of opinion, I thought it was a great show.

Yea, there was some filler here and there but overall, this was a home run for WWE's flagship show (get it? Flagship? because this year's Wrestlemania has a pirate theme?).

Monday Night Messiah Wants To Unite Not Divide.

WWE Photo

Seth Rollins welcomes everybody to Monday Night RAW which would be a different conversation online had Stephanie McMahon said it.

One-half of the tag team champions talked about how he doesn't preach a message of divisiveness but rather oneness (if that's a real word).

Out came Kevin Owens and he thinks that Seth to quote R Truth a couple of weeks back, talks a lot and how he's a fighter and not alone in his fight so he brought in The Viking Raiders.

WWE Photo

That led to a brawl and a returning Samoa Joe snuck into the ring and applied the kokina clutch on the Monday Night messiah. A decent opening act that moved from point A to B.

We then move on to the Monday Night messiah's wife and let's observe how she performed.

Becky Lynch vs Asuka For The RAW Women's Championship.

WWE Photo

A rubber match as they say and it was pretty good. Kairi Sane distracted Becky by dancing on the ring apron that was followed by a hip attack from the empress.

Asuka hit a fishermen suplex position into a wing clipper of some sort to Becky in a near fall.

Becky Lynch caught Asuka with a disarmher on the ropes after Asuka missed in what would've been a second hip attack. Asuka ate a rock bottom from The Man and that's how the express lost the match.

After that encounter, Shayna Baszler showed up and attacked the RAW champ from behind to which she bit Becky's neck and blood was all over Baszler's mouth.

WWE Photo

Yo, she pulled a Suarez but a bit more graphic (that's a football or "soccer" reference for all of you slow mofos). I love the fact that Lawler said in commentary that he hasn't seen quite like this. Bro, you witnessed Triple H pretending to be Kane in a Katie Vick funeral segment that everybody wishes to forget.

Nevertheless, this was an odd but somehow intriguing way to start this feud. It did make Baszler a thread to Becky but again, that bite was an odd choice.

The Street Profits vs Mojo Rawley And Riddick Moss.

WWE Photo

The Street Profits won the match with a frog splash from Montez Ford. I legit totally forgot about Riddick Moss. Where the hell did Tino Sabbatelli disappear?

Oh, and Moss pinned Mojo to become the new 24/7 champion as if anyone cares. Meanwhile, Becky Lynch's injury didn't stop her from diving an ambulance truck.

The MVP Lounge. Special Guest, Drew McIntyre.

WWE Photo

It was 2009 for about 10 minutes or so which means that MVP hosted the latest edition of the MVP Lounge. The dude was acting heelish like his days as US champion as proven when he said that some people were criticising Drew McIntyre and offered him to be the Scottsmen's manager.

McIntyre said that he doesn't need anybody to kiss his ass. MVP replied by saying that he's not an ass kisser but rather an ass-kicker. The Scotsmen then head-butted the guy and a claymore kick for good measure.

I'm not surprised if a match between those two will be booked for next week's even though MVP stated that he wrestled his last WWE match and y'all know when wrestlers say something like that.

Angel Garza vs Cedric Alexander.

WWE Photo

Cedric went from pinning a former WWE champion inside Madison Square Garden to barely getting a TV entrance or being on TV for that matter.

So, before the match, Humberto Carrillo stormed to the ring and nails him with straight rights but the match was going to start as scheduled and Garza wins here with the winged clipper.

Bobby Lashley tells in an interview with Sarah Scribier that he's going to introduce Ricochet to reality. Okay.

Rhea Ripley vs Sarah Logan.

WWE Photo

This match came about after Sarah interrupted Ripley's interview criticising her for showing up to RAW like she's the boss or something. After Ripley won her match, Rhea called out Charlotte who by the way, was on the stage for an answer.

Charlotte Flair replies by saying that Ripley might not be champion next week referring to her upcoming title match with Bianca Belair at Takeover: Portland which I didn't know it was next week. A week in wrestling is like one full day huh?

Ricochet vs Bobby Lashley.

WWE Photo

That match was sponsored by the Sonic the Hedgehog movie so the question is, will Otis' date with Mandy Rose include a theatre showing for that movie?

Will have to watch Smackdown this coming week but first the match itself. It was actually good. Ricochet wins this match with a 630 splash. A move I'll never get tired of seeing.

Did Randy Orton Address His Attack To Edge Two Weeks Back?

WWE Photo

Well, he was about to explain the whole thing until Edge's old rival, Matt Hardy interrupted Orton and he like everybody else wanna know why Randy did what he did?

Hardy explained his hatred for Edge back in 2005 but also mentioned his friendship before that feud took place and how he stitched that broken bond Matt had with a then retired Edge.

Matt blamed Randy Orton for that attack to which Orton tried to hit the RKO on Hardy but wasn't successful at first. Randy then successfully delivered the RKO that unfortunately led to the viper hitting Matt with the same double chairs spot that Randy hit on Edge.

WWE Photo

That was a fantastic segment thanks in large part to Matt Hardy bringing up the history between himself and the Rated R Superstar. Excellent stuff.

Ruby Riott in an interview with Sarah Schreiber, gave little to no explanations as to why she attacked Liv Morgan.

WWE Photo

Then, Aleister Black after a quick encounter with Akira Tozawa, cut a promo about how he's an animal inside a cage and he'll put somebody on that cage. Cool.

Becky Lynch Calls Out Her Attacker.

WWE Photo

The title above describes exactly how it sounds but she went on to threaten Shayna by breaking her week by week and little by little. Hoping that Baszler doesn't turn into a God damn vampire with that spot earlier.

Kevin Owens, Samoa Joe And The Viking Raiders vs Seth Rollins, Murphy And AOP.

WWE Photo

WWE took out the Buddy in Buddy Murphy and he's now referred to as Murphy and honestly, Buddy Murphy is a lame-ass name so I ain't mad. That was a decent main event tag match.

Owens hits a beautiful Senton from the ring post on to everybody in this match except for Murphy and Rollins. Back in the ring, Joe locked in the kokina clutch on Murphy and Rollins stomps Joe for the heel team to win this match. Not the best way to end an episode but it wasn't offensive to watch.

So, to recap for all of you slow mofos.

Like: Asuka vs Becky, Ricochet vs Bobby Lashley, Matt Hardy and Randy Orton segment.

Didn't like: Ruby Riott Promo.

NXT Takeover: In Your House 2020 | A Coherent Review.

NXT Takeover: In Your House is like the rest of the Takeover shows, a fantastic 2 hours of professional wrestling.  What makes this show special is the additional nostalgia like how the show started with the NXT WWF inspired intro, the ice cream commercial narrated by William Regal doing his best Lord Alferd Hayes impression, icopro commercial and last but not least, Todd Pettengill.  This is a show that I'm definitely rewatching in years to come.  Mia Yim, Tegan Nox And Shotzi Blackheart vs Raquel Gonzalez, Candice LeRae And Dakota Kai.  A decent opening match. During the match, Nox did a Molly Holly top rope on to every competitor in the match.  Yim tried to give LeRae some Seoul Food but LeRae reversed that into a suplex. Several minutes later, Shotzi did a Salida Del Sol of some sort on Gonzalez to which Nox delivered the shiniest wizard on Kai and won the match.  Finn Balor vs Damian Priest. I actually thought that the closing mo...

WWE Extreme Rules 2019 | My Coherent Review.

Man, I'm impressed with WWE in terms of PPVs as of late because overall, this was a fantastic show in my opinion with great matches but the crowd was dead for most of the show so that sucks.  I finally watched the pre-show match between Finn Balor and Shinsuke Nakamura before I went to bed because the show aired at 2 am where I live and it was okay.  By the way, how interesting is it when on last year’s Extreme Rules show, Shinsuke Nakamura won the United States championship and now this year’s show, he won the intercontinental title. Also, it's funny that the intercontinental championship was the main event on last's year show and on this year's Extreme Rules PPV, it's on the preshow.  Shane McMahon and Drew McIntyre vs Roman Reigns and The Undertaker.  Mike Rome did better in announcing "The Best In the world" this time than on RAW. Mike Rome's announcement a few weeks ago sounded like that one friend that thinks he/she knows how to ...
