WWE Smackdown 18/10/19 | My Coherent Review.

If you like filler episodes, this show is for you. The rest of us? Well, it's skippable, to say the least.

Roman Reigns vs Shinsuke Nakamura.

WWE Photo
This match was okay with a generic ending to set up a match. Thanks to Corbin's sceptre, Shinsuke Nakamura retains the intercontinental championship and the bad guys stopped a returning Daniel Bryan from evening the odds for the big dog.

The New Day was disturbed when Otis drank a pancake batter with protein powder in a backstage segment. Kofi might tease a possible heel turn based on his "happy" face but that could completely not mean anything.

Also, something that happened backstage, Kalya Braxton asked Corbin why he has attacked Roman Reigns and Corbin with a smile on his face, walked off.

Chad Gable vs Curtis Axel.

WWE Photo
After Gable's win, he was asked by Kayla about his height. Gable says that he has embraced his height and decides to *sigh* shorted his last name to G.

Hence, his new name is Shorty G. Shorty G sounds like a terrible rapper spamming in world star hip hop's comment section back in the late 2000s.

I will say this, if there's one person that can make this work is *sigh* Shorty G given that he has very good comedic timing but that could also crash and burn his momentum.

The New Day in Xavier Woods and Big E and Heavy Machinery vs Dolph Ziggler, Robert Roode and The Revival.

The match ends with a midnight hour from The New Day and the babyface team won the match. An okay match.

Kalya is working hard by doing all the interviews herself and her next interview is Daniel Bryan about his tag team match. Daniel simply said that he's going to put Corbin and Shinsuke in their places.

Miz TV. Special Guest, Bayley.

WWE Photo
Sasha Banks was by her side in this entire segment and The Miz was curious as to Bayley's new attitude and why she has made all the kids cry?

Bayley doesn't owe anyone an explanation. Miz then called among other things, someone that destroys the Bayley buddies to gain relevancy.

Bayley replied by saying "F everybody" and pulled a Vince McMahon line from the early 2000s "life sucks and then you die".

That led to some of the competitors in the six-pack challenge number one contenders match for the Smackdown women's championship coming out because that match was next.

Good stuff from Bayley and I especially liked how she brought a great Vince McMahon promo ironically from an episode of Smackdown.

Carmella vs Sonya Deville vs Mandy Rose vs Dana Brooke vs Nikki Cross vs Lacey Evans. Number One Contenders Match For The Smackdown Women's Championship.

WWE Photo
Dana Brooke at one point, hits a beautiful senton from the top rope to Lacey Evans.

The match ended with a swinging neckbreaker from Nikki Cross to Mandy Rose and Cross is the number one contender for the Smackdown women's championship.

After Bayley's feud with Nikki Cross and Alexa Bliss this past summer, I'm honestly tired of that match.

I would much prefer Carmella winning this match considering that Bayley and Carmella were once friends and they could play out their history but that's just me.

Braun Strowman vs Drew Gulak.

WWE Photo
Drew Gulak introduces himself before his debut match and he warns Braun Strowman that Fury might beat him by showing him a PowerPoint presentation.

Braun wasn't having it and he destroys the former cruiserweight champion. The Big man won the match with a running powerslam. This is probably the first time I've seen Gulak brought up a PowerPoint presentation in a serious which is odd to see.

Roman Reigns and Daniel Bryan vs Shinsuke Nakamura and King Baron Corbin.

WWE Photo
King Corbin broke up a rebel lock from Daniel Bryan. Roman then speared the hell out of Corbin through a barricade.

Daniel Bryan hits the running knee to Shinsuke Nakamura to win this tag team bout. A Daniel Bryan Shinsuke Nakamura match? Sign me up.

So, to recap for all of you slow mofos.

Like: The Miz TV segment.

Didn't like: All the matches were underwhelming to watch.

AEW Dynamite Blood And Guts | A Coherent Review.

Another watchable episode of AEW Dynamite but this time, it features the first-ever Blood And Guts encounter. Kenny Omega And Michael Nakazawa vs Jon Moxley And Eddie Kingston.  Don Callis announced that Michael Nakazawa is going to face Mox and Kingston all by himself only for Kenny Omega to show up and compete in the match anyway.  A weird booking choice but I'm just nitpicking.  What wasn't weird was how the match ended with a double team dragon suplex into a clothesline from the duo of Mox and Kingston to Nakazawa.  Then, a beatdown ensued from Omega's Posse to Jonny Mox and Eddie Kingston. The Young Bucks vs Jon Moxley and Eddie Kingston? I'm down.  It was revealed later in the night that a number one contenders match for the AEW championship is set up for next week's show between Orange Cassidy and Pac. I'm assuming AEW is saving the Hangman Page and Kenny Omega encounter for All Out?  Either way, AEW has the potential to tell an interesting story of ...

WWE RAW 5/10/20 | A Coherent Review.

I have not said this in a RAW review in a very long time but the show as a whole was straight up dogsh*t awful.  It's so bad that I didn't like one ounce about this program.  pictures via wwe.com Randy Orton Remembers His Match At Clash Of Champions.  The show started off with Randy Orton recalling certain aspects about the WWE championship match at Clash Of Champions.  Orton goes on to say that Drew doesn't deserve the championship because the legends interfered in the ambulance match.  The promo ended with Orton bringing up the fact that he beat up four legends last week on RAW (again, explain the physics behind this?).  Drew showed up and he laid waste on the guy.  Randy has been quite exceptional in the dialogue department but this ain't it.  The promo actually put me to sleep and the show didn't even hit 10 minutes up until that point.  If they suddenly end the rivalry like nothing happened, while it doesn't make sense, I'm all for it be...

WWE NXT UK Takeover: Cardiff | My Coherent Review.

via WWE I don't watch or review the first NXT UK Takeover for some odd reason but I'm so glad I did because that was like the main NXT Takeovers, was absolutely great to watch. I'm just speechless and if you have watched the show then you'll know why (also, if you somehow didn't watch this show, what are you doing? Go and treat yourself with some wrestling goodness.) Noam Dar vs Travis Banks.  A very enjoyable opening match. Noam Dar proves that he's great at what he does with so many submission holes because if you don't know, I'm a technical wrestling connoisseur. Noam Dar won the match with a standing shining wizard.  Cesaro vs Ilja Dragunov. Always great to see Cesaro do what he does best and that's a fight inside the square circle. So, Ilja called out Cesaro because Cesaro's looking for an open challenge and Cesaro obviously picked his challenger.  The Swiss Cyborg started off this match by throwing Dragunov to the outside ...
