WWE RAW 14/10/19 | My Coherent Review.

The draft aspect of this show like last Friday was underwhelming and the show itself was pretty good. Two fun matches and a very confusing plot twist in the third hour.

Also, I wanna give Impact Wrestling a big shout out because their big PPV in Bound For Glory was sold out.

That promotion has its ups and its downs that it's worth a Netflix like documentary series. And it's nice to see some positive news from them. Now, on with the review.

Becky Lynch Talks About Sasha Banks' Replacement.

WWE Photo
The RAW women's champion started off this show by telling the audience that she was disappointed that The Man can't give Sasha Banks a beating tonight like Hell In A Cell.

Charlotte Flair came out not to counter what Lynch said but rather she wanted to be Becky's friend (that's nice). There's a saying that "don't trust a Flair" or at least a version of that saying and Charlotte immediately gave The Man the forearm which led to a brawl.

WWE Photo

This is not the usual main roster segment in terms of how simple this segment was to follow. Becky wants to fight, Charlotte Flair wants to be besties with Lynch but because Charlotte's a bad guy, she sucker-punched the man. See, not that hard to execute a wrestling feud WWE.

Becky Lynch vs Charlotte Flair.

WWE Photo
This was aight. Becky Lynch won the match with a crucifix pin. That's pretty rare.

Seth Rollins was interviewed by Charly Caruso and she asked him about Bray Wyatt. Seth simply said that he's on a Fiend hunting.

I didn't know that Seth likes hunting like a redneck or something. In all seriousness, the "Fiend hunting" line was so cheesy that it gave people with lactose intolerant a night in the bathroom (sorry for the visuals).

Let's talk about the meat of this buffet and that's the draft.

Seth Rollins is back on RAW.

Brock Lesnar is on Smackdown.

Charlotte Flair is on RAW.

The New Day is on Smackdown.

Andrade is on RAW (is he going back to Smackdown like the last time?)

As you can see, the first round was not mind-blowing. However, the fact that Andrade is drafted in the same round as the former 6-time tag team champions and the current WWE champion is pretty cool.

Andrade vs Ali.

WWE Photo
Speaking of which. Andrade won the match with the hammerlock DDT thanks to Zelina Vega.

Is round 2 better than 1? Well, let's see.

Asuka and Kairi Sane are on RAW.

Daniel Bryan is on Smackdown.

Rusev is on RAW.

Bayley is on Smackdown.

Aleister Black is on RAW.

I mean, I would prefer Bryan to be drafted to RAW because it's a fresh new scenery for the guy. Overall, a meh second round.

There's a duo I haven't seen in several months and that's Colin Jost and Micheal Che and Jost reflected on his "friend" in Braun Strowman but Che said that Jost was making fun of him after Wrestlemania calling Strowman "if Jason Mamoa ate his feelings". *sarcastically smiling* nice.

The Viking Raiders vs Robert Roode and Dolph Ziggler For The RAW Tag Team Championship.

WWE Photo
Roode threw Erick on the ring post and pinned Erick but he kicked out. Ziggler then hits the famouser to Erick but he, you guessed it, kicked out.

Ivar broke up the pin from Roode after Ziggler hits the superkick and Roode delivers the Glorious DDT to Erick.

Ziggler goes up and then down with the Viking Experience and The Viking Raiders just became the RAW tag team champions. One of the highlights of this episode of RAW. A very fun match.

The Viking Raiders then cut a promo saying that they're the first undefeated tag team to become the IWGP, The Ring Of Honour, the NXT and now, the RAW tag team champions.

Round 3 is now in the books and let's take a look.

Cedric Alexander is on RAW.

Shinsuke Nakamura is on Smackdown.

205 Live's own Humberto Carrillo is on RAW.

Ali is on Smackdown.

Erick Rowan is on RAW.

Nice to see Humberto Carrillo coming to the main roster but other than that, meh.

Aleister Black vs Eric Young.

WWE Photo
This match was completely one-sided. Aleister Black won the match with the black ritual. Also, this the first RAW match from Eric Young so that's interesting but also sad at the same time.

The 4th round is now out there and I feel sorry for one duo.

Buddy Murphy is on RAW.

Dolph Ziggler and Robert Roode are on Smackdown.

Jinder Mahal is on RAW.

Carmella is on Smackdown.

R Truth is on RAW.

Really like Buddy Murphy moving to the red brand and I cannot take this seriously when The USA executives were excited that R Truth is on RAW.

The Street Profits were talking about how they're officially on RAW and The O.C didn't like the duo so they beat those guys up. I'm very much intrigued.

Ricochet vs Shelton Benjamin.

WWE Photo
A decent match that I would've preferred to be a bit longer. Ricochet won the match with the recoil.

Lana was getting a massage from someone and Bobby Lashley did it better than Rusev according to Lana. This was uncomfortable to watch, to say the least.

Braun Strowman vs Tyson Fury Contract Signing.

WWE Photo
Jerry Lawler moderates this signing and you would think that it's any different like any other contract signing ever right? Actually, it kinda wasn't.

I will say this, Braun's motivation as to why he did what he did two weeks ago actually made sense given that outside personalities do take some of the spotlights.

Tyson Fury's motivation in that he and his kids came as fans also made sense. No brawling was involved which is surprising. I didn't like how the show ended last week but this was a step up.

The 5th round is going to be awesome?

Samoa Joe is on RAW.

The Miz is on Smackdown.

Akira Tozawa is on RAW.

King Corbin is on Smackdown.

Shelton Benjamin is on RAW.

It obviously wasn't but I like the Akira Tozawa move and given that The Miz has a reality show on the USA Network, I'm really surprised that he's now on Friday Nights.

Buddy Murphy vs Cedric Alexander.

WWE Photo
Murphy going back to his roots in this match. Murphy kicked Alexander's head off with a knee strike then a beautiful suicide dive. Cedric then delivers a suicide dive of his own. Murphy delivered a sitout powerbomb followed immediately by Murphy's Law to win his match.

Didn't like that Cedric is eating a lot of Ls but that was a great showcase of who Buddy Murphy is as a performer. However, that match was awesome.

Did they nail the final round of the 2019 draft? Let's see.

Rey Mysterio is on RAW.

*sigh* "Shorty" Chad Gable is on Smackdown.

Titus O'Neil is on RAW.

Elias is on Smackdown.

Liv Morgan is on RAW.

Not a great final round gotta be honest.

Natalya And A Mystery Partner Vs The Kabuki Warriors.

WWE Photo
Natalya picked Lacey Evans as her mystery. This is to quote Chris Jericho, a stupid idiot move.

They just became partners because? WWE once again tore a page out of the X-Men franchise and pretended that the past was nothing more than a dream to the audience. The champions won the match with the roll-up from Asuka to Lacey Evans.

Firefly Funhouse Time.

WWE Photo
So, Seth Rollins started to beat up Bray Wyatt and burn his firefly Funhouse down literally.

Meh. By the way, Seth vs Bray in a falls count anywhere match for the Universal championship and all I can say is I hope they book this story right.

So, to recap for all of you slow mofos.

Like: The O.C beating The Street Profits, The RAW tag team championship match, Buddy Murphy vs Cedric Alexander, Andrade being in the first round draft was nice, The Tyson Fury Braun Strowman contract signing, opening segment.

Didn't like: The Draft other than a couple of picks were underwhelming, Natalya teaming up with Lacey Evans.

A Brief Guide To Pro Wrestling Websites.

So. You just become a fan of pro wrestling and have dabbled into the fandom for a bit (it's a mess ain't it?) You've just followed some news sites' social media platforms but aren't sure whether the articles they put out are accurate or not.  Well, you got the right guy to solve that problem if it's from a blog that barely gets any traction (that would be me in case you were confused).  The news we get from the medium that is pro wrestling is an integral part of the online space.  The reason being is that it's not only a great conversation starter but you could also learn something new today about the industry you love.  That doesn't mean that all of the news you see on the timeline is reliable.  I'm here to hopefully give you a guide to wrestling sites.  There are many wrestling websites out there but I wanna highlight some of the notable ones.  Okay? Here we go.  #1: Wrestling Observer Newsletter aka F4WOnline.  I can't talk about a guide t...

Money In The Bank 2020 | A Coherent Review.

The Money In The Bank show has a special in my heart because the 2018 edition was my first PPV review. The 2019 Money In The Bank PPV was enjoyable based on my review last year.  Like 2019, this year's show was fun overall but way shorter in airtime (it was 2 hours and 25 minutes in case you were curious).  The NXT Takeover shows were a lot longer. I hope WWE keeps that pace up because I don't want to fall asleep during the PPV only to rewatch most of the show again.  Quick thoughts on the Jeff Hardy vs Cesaro match on the pre-show. It was * Booker T's voice* guuud.  The New Day vs Lucha House Party vs Forgotten Sons vs The Miz And John Morrison For The SmackDown Tag Team Championship.  Gran Metalik was in my opinion, the highlight in this championship match whether it's his Spanish fly to John Morrison onto the recent of the participants or the amazing looking elbow drop from the top rope on Big E.  Unfortunately, Metalik is ...
