WWE RAW 29/7/19 | My Coherent Review.

There were decisions being made on this show that I would've done it differently if I was on their spot but as a whole, this show was decent and unlike last week's episode, it actually made some progress going into Summerslam.

Drake Maverick and Renee Michelle vs R Truth and Carmella. 24/7 championship. Lumberjack Match.

WWE Photo
First off, that intro about the 24/7 title was great. Shout out to the production guys for that. Also, mosh pit? Isn't this a lumberjack match? Anyways, the match ends quickly with a reverse suplex from Truth and then, The rest of the roster (yes, all of them) pinned R Truth to which Mike Kanellis of all people won the match.

WWE Photo

He then went inside the WWE officials' room and Maria Kanellis knocked on that door. Maria Kanellis said that if he doesn't open that door then she'll kick him in his "vagina". That line was random yet funny. As far as the 24/7 championship shenanigans are concerned, it was not offensive but it wasn't as good as I hoped it would be.

A Gauntlet Match To Determine The Number One Contender For The United States Championship.

WWE Photo
Rey Mysterio and Cesaro kicked off that match and I wonder if Cesaro actually hits a 619 of his own? No, he didn't but Cesaro did deliver something I'll never get tired of seeing and that's the European uppercut.

Rey Mysterio eliminated Cesaro with the 619 and also eliminated a fresh Sami Zayn quickly with a small package. Out came the third opponent of this decent gauntlet match so far and that's Andrade.

WWE Photo

Andrade got his victory with the hammerlock DDT and ripped off Rey's mask. Ricochet rushed to the ring and hits Andrade with a springboard clothesline before the match started.

WWE Photo
Ricochet at one point, delivered a reverse hurricanrana after he ate an elbow strike from "The Idol". The match ends with a 630 splash from Ricochet and he's going to Summerslam. That was an enjoyable gauntlet. Happy that we're getting a rematch between Ricochet and AJ Styles.

Mike Kanellis let his wife Maria pin him for the 24/7 championship and the rest of the RAW roster doesn't want to defeat her for the championship for obvious reasons. The question is, who has the audacity to actually pin a pregnant woman?

A Moment Of Bliss. No Special Guest This Time.

Nikki Cross was inspired by Raw Reunion.
Alexa Bliss showed a video earlier that night in which Natalya was training someone and Becky came out to delivered a disarmher.  Becky Lynch on the Titantron, basically said she's gonna beat Bliss and also told Nikki Cross that where's Nikki's Celtic pride? Whatever.

The Revival vs The Usos vs The O.C For The RAW Tag team championship.

WWE Photo
Which tag team name that starts with "the" wins the titles? This match was very slow overall. I say overall because the last several minutes was very decent to watch.

Jimmy Uso delivered the superplex into a sea of humans as Micheal Cole would like to put it. The O.C won the titles with the magical killer. I thought the win was way too early and I would've had The Usos win the titles as transitional champions and save that win for Summerslam but considering what happened to Jimmy Uso, I don't think that's going to happen nor it shouldn't. In other words, did I contradict myself? Yes, I did.

The Viking Raiders vs Local Jobbers.

WWE Photo
I'm not gonna say anything because you know what happens when I put the word "jobber" or "jobbers" in this case.

Becky Lynch vs Alexa Bliss.

WWE Photo
Before this, Becky's boyfriend in Seth Rollins had a verbal interaction with the Street Profits which was aight. Becky Lynch won the match because Becky delivered the t bone suplex and Alexa hit her ankle which led to the match ending in I'm assuming a forfeit?

WWE Photo
After the match, Becky accepted Nikki's challenge and the champ won the match with the Rock Bottom of some sort. Alexa Bliss injury was all a lie and assaulted Lynch. Out came Natalya and immediately hooked on the sharpshooter to Becky Lynch.

The short "injury" angle was an unnecessary tactic to increase RAW's airtime. Maybe they could add more time in the Becky vs Alexa match instead of what we actually got? Just a suggestion. Also, we're getting a submission match between the champ and the challengers which is odd if they want to extend the feud.

Seth Rollins vs Dolph Ziggler.

WWE Photo

After Braun Strowman looked at the new 24/7 champion with no consideration whatsoever, Seth Rollins had a short encounter with Ziggler and I say short because Brock Lesnar came out and destroyed his Summerslam ending the match in a DQ.

WWE Photo
I will say this, Brock Lesnar looked great in this and I gotta give kudos to Seth for selling Brock's vicious beating like that.

The Samoan Summit.

WWE Photo
Well, there wasn't any summit because Samoa Joe wanted a fight with Roman and that's exactly what happened until Drew McIntyre came out and turned into a 2 on 1 assault. Cedric Alexander made the save but he got a beating from Drew.

WWE Photo
McIntyre and Joe wanted to do something with Roman on that announce table to which The Usos came to the rescue and outta nowhere, The O.C came in assistance for Drew and Samoa Joe.

WWE Photo
Minutes later, Roman Reigns finally got some payback by delivering the spear to Samoa Joe. Cedric Alexander and The Usos coming out made sense because The Usos are Roman's cousin and Cedric has his issues with Drew McIntyre but The O.C showing up made no sense like didn't you guys pin The Usos for the gold? Like the same guys you have quote "bad blood" with?

I'll give a pass in Drew showing up because I'm going to assume that Samoa asked Drew a favour on beating the big dog up. The only good thing about this was that Cedric got some time to shine. In conclusion, the brawl from a logically perspective was a mess.

So, to recap for all of you slow mofos:

Like: Gauntlet Match, Brock's beatdown on Seth Rollins, Cedric Alexander in the end segment.

Didn't Like: The Logic gap of who did or didn't show up in the end segment, the short "injury" angle.

AEW Dynamite Blood And Guts | A Coherent Review.

Another watchable episode of AEW Dynamite but this time, it features the first-ever Blood And Guts encounter. Kenny Omega And Michael Nakazawa vs Jon Moxley And Eddie Kingston.  Don Callis announced that Michael Nakazawa is going to face Mox and Kingston all by himself only for Kenny Omega to show up and compete in the match anyway.  A weird booking choice but I'm just nitpicking.  What wasn't weird was how the match ended with a double team dragon suplex into a clothesline from the duo of Mox and Kingston to Nakazawa.  Then, a beatdown ensued from Omega's Posse to Jonny Mox and Eddie Kingston. The Young Bucks vs Jon Moxley and Eddie Kingston? I'm down.  It was revealed later in the night that a number one contenders match for the AEW championship is set up for next week's show between Orange Cassidy and Pac. I'm assuming AEW is saving the Hangman Page and Kenny Omega encounter for All Out?  Either way, AEW has the potential to tell an interesting story of ...

WWE RAW 5/10/20 | A Coherent Review.

I have not said this in a RAW review in a very long time but the show as a whole was straight up dogsh*t awful.  It's so bad that I didn't like one ounce about this program.  pictures via wwe.com Randy Orton Remembers His Match At Clash Of Champions.  The show started off with Randy Orton recalling certain aspects about the WWE championship match at Clash Of Champions.  Orton goes on to say that Drew doesn't deserve the championship because the legends interfered in the ambulance match.  The promo ended with Orton bringing up the fact that he beat up four legends last week on RAW (again, explain the physics behind this?).  Drew showed up and he laid waste on the guy.  Randy has been quite exceptional in the dialogue department but this ain't it.  The promo actually put me to sleep and the show didn't even hit 10 minutes up until that point.  If they suddenly end the rivalry like nothing happened, while it doesn't make sense, I'm all for it be...

WWE NXT UK Takeover: Cardiff | My Coherent Review.

via WWE I don't watch or review the first NXT UK Takeover for some odd reason but I'm so glad I did because that was like the main NXT Takeovers, was absolutely great to watch. I'm just speechless and if you have watched the show then you'll know why (also, if you somehow didn't watch this show, what are you doing? Go and treat yourself with some wrestling goodness.) Noam Dar vs Travis Banks.  A very enjoyable opening match. Noam Dar proves that he's great at what he does with so many submission holes because if you don't know, I'm a technical wrestling connoisseur. Noam Dar won the match with a standing shining wizard.  Cesaro vs Ilja Dragunov. Always great to see Cesaro do what he does best and that's a fight inside the square circle. So, Ilja called out Cesaro because Cesaro's looking for an open challenge and Cesaro obviously picked his challenger.  The Swiss Cyborg started off this match by throwing Dragunov to the outside ...
