WWE RAW 10/6/19 | My Coherent Review.

For a show after a PPV, this wasn't bad but not by much. To put in simple plain English, It was an okay episode.

Opening segment.

Universal Champion Seth Rollins is fired up after Super ShowDown!
Seth Rollins came out with a steel chair to start off this week's episode of Monday Night RAW. Seth cut a promo about his actions at Super showdown last Friday (which you can click here to read my full review of super showdown) even saying that nobody has got a beating quite like Brock since 02 which is a blatant lie.

Corbin claims the official cost him his last match against Rollins.Out came Baron Corbin with thunderous of boos that lasted for a long time and he mentioned that he's getting a rematch for the Universal championship with a special guest referee. Seth replied by saying that nobody likes Baron Corbin which is true. The Critic Of The Critics in Sami Zayn showed up in support of Baron Corbin saying that RAW would be better if Baron Corbin is Universal champion.

Kevin Owens came out basically agreed on what Sami Zayn said to which Seth Rollins offered Owens to fight the Universal Championship and Owens accepted. Decent segment but the booing from the crowd to Corbin was fantastic.

Lars Sullivan vs Lucha House Party. Handicap Elimination Match.

WWE Photo
This was a much better squash match than their match last Friday. Lars Sullivan eliminated Kalisto with the freak accident before he eliminated Lince Dorado with the running powerbomb.

The match ended with Lars throwing Kalisto onto the steel steps, threw Dorado onto the ring post, hits Metalik with a top rope headbutt and won the match.

This made Lars Sullivan look greater than ever and if they put Lars Sullivan in squash matches that are not one dimensional, they might have a big star in their hands.

After that, R Truth, the ref, Carmella, Cedric Alexander, EC3, Heath Slater and Drake Maverick were stuck in an elevator which had the same various segments played out during the show.

Lacey Evans and Becky Lynch exclusive interview.

Image result for Becky Lynch and Lacey Evans interview
Hosted by Micheal Cole, RAW's main play by play commentator was about to ask a question to Becky until Lacey Evans interrupted and both of those women were arguing how they are gonna beat each other at Stomping Ground.

This compared to the other sit down interview with Becky herself and Charlotte, was okay.

Miz TV. Special Guest, Samoa Joe.

The Samoan Submission Machine takes issue with Miz calling him the “new” U.S. Champion because he says Mysterio “stole” it from him.
I'm noticing a pattern here about whenever Miz is on RAW, he always hosts Miz TV except when he's competing. Anyways, Samoa Joe said that he was robbed at the title and he "won it back". After Miz showed him the footage from Samoa Joe’s attack to Rey Mysterio, Joe brought up Miz's kids which obviously made Miz angry.

Out came Strowman, Lashley and Ricochet and they brought up reasons as to why they deserve a US title opportunity and Cesaro came out to sucker punch Ricochet which led to a 6 man tag. Started off decently and ended in a predictable yet tiresome note.

The Miz, Ricochet and Braun Strowman vs Bobby Lashley, Samoa Joe and Cesaro.

WWE Photo
Ricochet doing his high flying moves will never bore me. By the end of the match, Strowman was chasing Samoa Joe and Strowman ate a spear from Bobby Lashley to which Cesaro took a skull crushing finale, a 630 splash from Ricochet onto Cesaro's thighs and the babyface team won. Ouch. Hope Cesaro is okay from this. That was a solid match surprisingly.

After Baron Corbin was interviewed backstage by Chary Caruso, Sami Zayn came to discuss something to Corbin.

Bayley and Becky Lynch vs Lacey Evans and Alexa Bliss.

WWE Photo
Basically, we got two women's title matches in a tag match on free TV.  The heel team won the match with the women's right to Bayley. What's with WWE and their champions losing to somebody with no endgame or purpose?

Sami Zayn visited Shane McMahon's office and Sami asked McMahon about him refereeing the main event match as an outside referee.

Shane accepted the idea by saying the same idea that Sami Zayn proposed which is confusing as it sounds.

Paul Heyman Address Brock Lesnar’s Beating From Seth Rollins.

Paul Heyman addresses what happened at WWE Super ShowDown.
Paul Heyman cut a promo about how they are not gonna tell people when Brock is gonna show up to cash in the contract and how Brock is going to take the championship away from a "thug" in Seth Rollins. I know I kept it short with this summary but Heyman cut a great promo as usual if given the right material to work with of course.

The IIconics vs Local jobbers.

WWE Photo
Look, I understand that The IIconics are heels and they are trying to keep the title as long as possible but if this tag team match is an indication that they need a solid women's tag team division then I don't know what else to tell ya.

This is probably not gonna happen but I feel like a women's tournament that is similar to a Mae young classic but with women's tag team wrestling is a solution I could possibly think of to fix the tag team division. Now, you know what happens in the match when I put "jobber" in the title above already.

Shane McMahon's Appreciation Night.

WWE Photo
It feels like Shane McMahon gets appreciation nights anytime he wins a big match or that's just me? Shane talked about Roman as an athlete and gave Drew McIntyre some compliments.

Drew said that he's gonna hurt and humiliate the big dog. Shane McMahon then pores his wine into the best in the world cup and started to drink his beverage which was a highlight. The Revival was introduced by McMahon and he mentioned their tag team match. A boring segment that didn't do anything for me.

The Revival vs The Usos vs Zack Ryder and Curt Hawkins for The RAW Tag Team Championship.

WWE Photo
At one point, Zack and Curt did a double team neckbreaker move which looked great to look at. The match ended with Jey Uso hitting a splash to which Scott Dawson tagged Jey and pinned Ryder to become tag team champion with Dash Wilder for the second time. Hoping that the build is actually better.

The hunt for the 24/7 championship continues as R Truth and Carmella ran back to the same elevator they got stuck in the first place. I'm not gonna lie even though it makes the superstar shake up look meaningless, those 24/7 segments got entertaining week by week and it was a breath of great creative fresh air that I didn't know I wanted but now I do.

On the latest edition of the firefly fun house, Bray Wyatt actually hits the rabbit repeatedly a hammer and tasted the rabbit's blood. A firefly funhouse segment ever Monday is something that I look forward to and this instalment is the reason why.

Seth Rollins vs Kevin Owens.

WWE Photo
After Seth delivered the stomp to Owens, the Sami pulled the ref down to the outside. Seth then put his hands onto Sami which made Zayn call for the disqualification.

After that, Baron Corbin seek attacked Seth, left the ring and Seth delivered Sami with the stomp to close out this episode of RAW. This was okay. Didn't do anything for ya boy.

So, to recap for all of you slow mofos:

Like: Lars Sullivan vs The Lucha House Party, Paul Heyman promo, the 24/7 championship elevator segments.

Didn't like: Shane McMahon Appreciation Night (except when he drank wine with the best in the world cup), Bayley taking a pinfall going into her title defence, the ending of that Miz TV segment.

The 5 News Week: What's With The Story Of WWE Will Possibly Put Their Content On A Different OTT?

Hello, my fellow wrestling fans and welcome to the 5 news week. The post where I report 5 major or minor news of the week that I don't have time to do it separately.  This past week was filled with news so  fasten your virtual seat belts because this is gonna be a long one. Without further ado, here are The 5 News Week.  What's With The Story That WWE Will Possibly Put Their Content On A Different OTT?  This confusion all started when some fans (including myself) saw the headline from a well-respected publication "WWE In Talks Talks to Sell PPV Rights to Another ‘Major’ Streaming Service." That publication is The Wrap and the article pretty much talked about what Vinne Mac said in the Q4 2019 earnings report about the possibility of putting their content to a major streaming service or enhance the prize point to a tiered payment but the deal to quote The Wrap " if made — would be announced by next month.". Did the old man say this? Let...
