WWE NXT 3/4/19 | My Coherent Review.

Gotta be honest, this NXT TV episode before NXT Takeover: New York was not great but also not terrible either. I couldn't find anything positive besides one match and couldn't find the negatives. However, it was a decent effort from the NXT creative team.

The War Raiders vs Local Jobbers.

The show started off with a match which I appreciate NXT for changing how they open their shows like that. The War Raiders won the match with a pump up slam. After the match, The War Raiders was in a fighting mood so they call out any other team in NXT and here came Cezar Bononi and Adrian Jaoude. The War Raiders won that match with a double team leg drop to Bononi.

After that, Candice LeRae was interviewed outside of the full sail arena until Aliyah and Vanessa Bourne told Candice LeRae that she's not NXT Women's championship worthy. LeRae then wanted a match between herself and Aliyah. The more I see Aliyah, the more I think that she could potentially be a great adversary in the NXT women's division.

Oney Lorcan vs Jaxson Ryker.

This was a decent match. Jaxson Ryker won the match with a sitout spinebuster to Oney Lorcan.

From one outside interview to another. This time it was Keith Lee and he wanted a conclusion between himself and Dominic Djakovic. The match between Keith Lee and Dominic Djakovic is happening in two weeks on NXT TV and I'm very much looking forward to it.

Bianca Belair vs Kairi Sane.

A very good main event in my humble opinion of course but with a decent ending. Shayna and the gang interfered in the match and just like that, the match ended in a DQ. Then, a big brawl happened which led to the entire NXT women's division trying their best to separate all of the women in the fatal four-way match. Out came Io Shirai and she delivered a picture perfect moonsault to the entire women's division. The show ended with Io Shirai holding the title high.

So, to recap for all of you slow mofos:

Like: The main event.

Didn't like: nothing really.

Since this review is pretty short, I thought this was a good way to put my quick NXT Takeover: New York predictions so follow the blog if you wanna read my NXT Takeover: New York review. Without further ado, here we go.

Pete Dunne vs Walter For The NXT UK Championship.

My Pick: New champion crowned aka Walter wins.

Velveteen Dream Vs Matt Riddle for The NXT North American Championship.

My Pick: Matt Riddle takes home the gold.

War Raiders vs Aleister Black and Ricochet for the NXT Tag Team Championship.

My Pick: Pretty much every Dusty Rhodes Tag Team Classic winner went on to win the tag team titles but not this time. War Raiders retains the titles.

Shayna Baszler vs Kairi Sane vs Bianca Belair vs Io Shirai for the NXT Women's Championship.

My Pick: Bianca Belair wins the championship. kicking off a feud between her and Io Shirai after Takeover.

Adam Cole vs Johnny Gargano 2 Out of 3 Falls Match for The NXT Championship.

My Pick: Adam Cole wins the championship BAY BAY.

WWE RAW 9/5/22 | A Coherent Review.

Yes, I didn't review Wrestlemania Backlash because one, I knocked out after a long day and two, why not? I did watch the show and it's like an episode of a Telltale game in that it's short and sweet.  How was the red brand this week?  Even though Wrestlemania Backlash is over, it still feels like I'm watching a build toward that show. It's like eating yesterday's leftovers with some fresh salad on the side, ya know. I'm hoping Hell In A Cell concludes everything.  The Street Profits vs RKBRO For The RAW Tag Team Championship.  Hey, look. A good tag team match, playas! Yes, they've fought each other more times than Call Of Duty sequels but like I said, I enjoyed it. RKBRO retained the championship with an RKO from Riddle to Montez Ford.  Rhea Ripley Is Now An Evil Goth Girl.  She said, "f**k them, kids". Also, why's Edge rocking the "I believe in white genocide" look? Ripley had a match with Liv Morgan and of course, she won the w...

AEW Dynamite Blood And Guts | A Coherent Review.

Another watchable episode of AEW Dynamite but this time, it features the first-ever Blood And Guts encounter. Kenny Omega And Michael Nakazawa vs Jon Moxley And Eddie Kingston.  Don Callis announced that Michael Nakazawa is going to face Mox and Kingston all by himself only for Kenny Omega to show up and compete in the match anyway.  A weird booking choice but I'm just nitpicking.  What wasn't weird was how the match ended with a double team dragon suplex into a clothesline from the duo of Mox and Kingston to Nakazawa.  Then, a beatdown ensued from Omega's Posse to Jonny Mox and Eddie Kingston. The Young Bucks vs Jon Moxley and Eddie Kingston? I'm down.  It was revealed later in the night that a number one contenders match for the AEW championship is set up for next week's show between Orange Cassidy and Pac. I'm assuming AEW is saving the Hangman Page and Kenny Omega encounter for All Out?  Either way, AEW has the potential to tell an interesting story of ...

WWE Smackdown Season Premiere | A Coherent Review.

It is the season premiere of Friday night Smackdown even though WWE doesn't have an offseason.  Nevertheless, it was a decent program and had a WAY better ending than whatever the hell of an ending last year's premiere of Friday night Smackdown showed.  There isn't a women's match this week and all of the AEW fanboys are looking at this like, "sEe, WWE dOeSn't feATuRe wOmeN'S mAtChEs aLsO."  pictures via WWE.com The Season Premiere Of Smackdown 2020.  The show started off with Triple H and Stephanie McMahon highlighting the scheduled matches for Smackdown as well as the superstars.  Chaos then ensued thanks to a huge brawl. Then, the "super freak" Lars Sullivan came out and delivered the freak accident to Shorty G.  Somehow, Jeff Hardy attacked him and that led to the opening match of the night between Lars and Jeff.  You know, I'm kind of surprised that two white people in McMahon and Hemsley knew who Rick James is.  Maybe I'm igno...
