WWE NXT 27/3/19 | My Coherent Review.

This episode of NXT was a solid effort from the NXT creative team but it wasn't all that amazing besides one particular segment. Oh, and the band Disturbed’s new song is one of the theme songs for NXT Takeover New York and when was the last time a Disturbed song has been a theme song for a PPV? (Wow, that's a lot of a’s).

Adam Cole Wants to Make His Championship Match Undisputed.

The show started off with The Undisputed Era leader himself, Adam Cole. Cole cut a promo about how he outlasted 4 of the best NXT superstars.

He then called out Johnny Gargano to which Johhny Gargano came out with “Johnny Wrestling, Adam Cole” chants from the full sail crowd that lasted in what feels like forever and Cole told the crowd that he doesn't need their support while Gargano said that he loves the “Johnny Wrestling” chants. After that, Gargano said that Adam Cole is in the fight of his life at Takeover.

Adam Cole replied by calling Gargano “Johnny Participation” (which made me laugh) and asked Gargano a question “what has Johnny Takeover done to earn this championship match at Takeover New York?” Johnny answered the question by saying that he's worked really hard to get a single opportunity for 15 years and worked so hard that the crowd started to chant his name.

Gargano ended the promo by saying that he's gonna become N. X. T. Champion which led to Adam Cole telling his challenger that Triple H proclaimed that the match at Takeover will be definitive but he's wrong. The NXT championship match at Takeover New York will be Undisputed. What a great line and what a segment.

Look, I'm already excited for this match but this segment enhanced my excitement for this 2 out of 3 falls match.

Vanessa Bourne and Aliyah vs Lacy Lane and Kacy Catanzaro.

Minutes after the match started, Shayna and the gang interfered in the match. Ending the match in a DQ. Other than Kacy’s athleticism, the ending and the match itself was whatever to me.

Matt Riddle vs Kona Reeves.

The match was okay. During the match, The Velveteen Dream came out and sat on a couch in the stage area with a drink on his hand and that distracted Riddle which led to Reeves delivering the back suplex but Riddle kicked out.

The match ended with Riddle delivered the bro mission and won the match. After the match, Matt Riddle told The Velveteen Dream that he will see The Dream at Takeover.

The Forgotten Sons vs Aleister Black and Ricochet. Dusty Rhodes Tag Team Classic Tournament Finals.

That was a goooood main event. Obviously, the team of Aleister Black and Ricochet won the match with the 630 to Wesley Blake. Congratulations to those guys and this Dusty Rhodes Tag Team Classic tournament is probably my favourite one considering that we've witnessed many match of the year candidates in that tournament.

So, to recap for all of you slow mofos:

Like: The Forgotten Sons vs Aleister Black and Ricochet. Dusty Rhodes Tag Team Classic Tournament Finals, The opening segment.

Didn't like: Nothing.

AEW Dynamite Blood And Guts | A Coherent Review.

Another watchable episode of AEW Dynamite but this time, it features the first-ever Blood And Guts encounter. Kenny Omega And Michael Nakazawa vs Jon Moxley And Eddie Kingston.  Don Callis announced that Michael Nakazawa is going to face Mox and Kingston all by himself only for Kenny Omega to show up and compete in the match anyway.  A weird booking choice but I'm just nitpicking.  What wasn't weird was how the match ended with a double team dragon suplex into a clothesline from the duo of Mox and Kingston to Nakazawa.  Then, a beatdown ensued from Omega's Posse to Jonny Mox and Eddie Kingston. The Young Bucks vs Jon Moxley and Eddie Kingston? I'm down.  It was revealed later in the night that a number one contenders match for the AEW championship is set up for next week's show between Orange Cassidy and Pac. I'm assuming AEW is saving the Hangman Page and Kenny Omega encounter for All Out?  Either way, AEW has the potential to tell an interesting story of ...

WWE RAW 5/10/20 | A Coherent Review.

I have not said this in a RAW review in a very long time but the show as a whole was straight up dogsh*t awful.  It's so bad that I didn't like one ounce about this program.  pictures via wwe.com Randy Orton Remembers His Match At Clash Of Champions.  The show started off with Randy Orton recalling certain aspects about the WWE championship match at Clash Of Champions.  Orton goes on to say that Drew doesn't deserve the championship because the legends interfered in the ambulance match.  The promo ended with Orton bringing up the fact that he beat up four legends last week on RAW (again, explain the physics behind this?).  Drew showed up and he laid waste on the guy.  Randy has been quite exceptional in the dialogue department but this ain't it.  The promo actually put me to sleep and the show didn't even hit 10 minutes up until that point.  If they suddenly end the rivalry like nothing happened, while it doesn't make sense, I'm all for it be...

WWE NXT UK Takeover: Cardiff | My Coherent Review.

via WWE I don't watch or review the first NXT UK Takeover for some odd reason but I'm so glad I did because that was like the main NXT Takeovers, was absolutely great to watch. I'm just speechless and if you have watched the show then you'll know why (also, if you somehow didn't watch this show, what are you doing? Go and treat yourself with some wrestling goodness.) Noam Dar vs Travis Banks.  A very enjoyable opening match. Noam Dar proves that he's great at what he does with so many submission holes because if you don't know, I'm a technical wrestling connoisseur. Noam Dar won the match with a standing shining wizard.  Cesaro vs Ilja Dragunov. Always great to see Cesaro do what he does best and that's a fight inside the square circle. So, Ilja called out Cesaro because Cesaro's looking for an open challenge and Cesaro obviously picked his challenger.  The Swiss Cyborg started off this match by throwing Dragunov to the outside ...
