WWE Smackdown Live 5/2/19 | My Coherent Review.

Smackdown Live was a good show that did a good job to build the Elimination Chamber PPV and here's why.

Opening Segment.

WWE Photo
The show started off with the queen, Charlotte Flair and she basically said that Becky is arrogant and how she needs to get healthy in her match at Wrestlemania. Charlotte also said that she's good to go and the queen would love to face Ronda Rousey. Then, Becky Lynch came out from the crowd, approaches to the ring and out came Triple H.

Minutes after Triple H verbally puts her down, Becky slaps Triple H and walked off. I really like this segment but I also loved Charlotte's character change considering that last year, she portrayed was a completely different character. A bland one at that. Like I said on my RAW review (which you can click here), I really like what they're going with this storyline and I hope this has a satisfying conclusion.

Rusev and Nakamura vs Gallows and Anderson.

 WWE Photo
This was a decent match actually. the unholy alliance of Rusev and Shinsuke Nakamura won the match with Rusev delivered the matcha kick to Anderson.

After that, The Usos cut a promo backstage basically saying that they are a different but great tag team and the best tag team should go to the Usos penitentiary. It was okay.

Mustafa Ali vs Randy Orton.

WWE Photo
A very entertaining match overall. During the match, Ali delivered the tornado DDT but Orton kicked out. Minutes after that, Randy Orton hit an RKO to Ali and won the match. After the match, Samoa Joe took out both Mustafa Ali and Randy Orton.

Then Samoa Joe cut a promo basically confident that he will win the WWE championship inside the chamber (Bullshit).

Daniel Bryan And His Great Educational Promo About The Environment.

WWE Photo
Obviously, since this episode took place in his home state, you would think that he'll cut a babyface promo right? The answer is yes (no pun intended). He did talk about how the state of Washington are intelligent and they need change. Bryan also said that people and the planet needs him as WWE champion. The fact that he didn't crap on his home state was a nice change of scenery. Overall a very good segment.

Naomi and Carmella vs The IIconics vs Mandy Rose and Sonya Deville.

WWE Photo
This was okay I guess? The team of Mandy Rose and Sonya Deville won the match with Mandy delivered an underhook slam to Naomi.

Then, Andrade and Zelina Vega cut a promo backstage basically stating that Rey Mysterio is old news and Andrade is the future.

Jeff Hardy vs Daniel Bryan.

WWE Photo
Decent main event. Jeff Hardy was going for the Swanton bomb however Rowan pulled Hardy's legs, ending that match into a DQ. After that, the participants in this match came out to the ring and brawled each other but Styles stood tall to end this episode of Smackdown Live. I feel like this ending should've happened on the go home show but I'm just nitpicking.

So, to recap for all of you slow mofos:

Like: Daniel Bryan usual great promo, Mustafa Ali vs Randy Orton, Opening Segment.

Didn't like: Nitpick but where's the US champion in R Truth?

WWE Extreme Rules 2019 | My Coherent Review.

Man, I'm impressed with WWE in terms of PPVs as of late because overall, this was a fantastic show in my opinion with great matches but the crowd was dead for most of the show so that sucks.  I finally watched the pre-show match between Finn Balor and Shinsuke Nakamura before I went to bed because the show aired at 2 am where I live and it was okay.  By the way, how interesting is it when on last year’s Extreme Rules show, Shinsuke Nakamura won the United States championship and now this year’s show, he won the intercontinental title. Also, it's funny that the intercontinental championship was the main event on last's year show and on this year's Extreme Rules PPV, it's on the preshow.  Shane McMahon and Drew McIntyre vs Roman Reigns and The Undertaker.  Mike Rome did better in announcing "The Best In the world" this time than on RAW. Mike Rome's announcement a few weeks ago sounded like that one friend that thinks he/she knows how to ...

NXT Takeover: In Your House 2020 | A Coherent Review.

NXT Takeover: In Your House is like the rest of the Takeover shows, a fantastic 2 hours of professional wrestling.  What makes this show special is the additional nostalgia like how the show started with the NXT WWF inspired intro, the ice cream commercial narrated by William Regal doing his best Lord Alferd Hayes impression, icopro commercial and last but not least, Todd Pettengill.  This is a show that I'm definitely rewatching in years to come.  Mia Yim, Tegan Nox And Shotzi Blackheart vs Raquel Gonzalez, Candice LeRae And Dakota Kai.  A decent opening match. During the match, Nox did a Molly Holly top rope on to every competitor in the match.  Yim tried to give LeRae some Seoul Food but LeRae reversed that into a suplex. Several minutes later, Shotzi did a Salida Del Sol of some sort on Gonzalez to which Nox delivered the shiniest wizard on Kai and won the match.  Finn Balor vs Damian Priest. I actually thought that the closing mo...

The Coherent Wrestling Wednesdays: Holy Sh*t, The Revival Are All Elite, Matt Riddle vs Timothy Thatcher In A Unique Steel Cage Match.

Both shows had its weak points but overall, that was an enjoyable 4 hours of professional wrestling television. I personally liked AEW Dynamite this week.  From an awesome women's match with Shida and Christi Jaynes to The Revival showing up, AEW managed to give me a solid episode and successfully furthered their storylines to next week's exciting show.  NXT   Highlights (at least in my opinion because wrestling is subjective).  Kushida vs Drake Maverick vs Jake Atlas. Triple Threat Match Interim Cruiserweight Championship Tournament.  What a way to kick off this episode of NXT, am I right? Atlas delivered the rainbow DDT but Kushida broke Jake's pin.  Speaking of Kushida, he nailed the armbar submission, however, Drake pinned Atlas because Atlas' shoulders were on the mat and will meet El Hijo Del Fantasma for the finals next week.  I don't know if Drake is rehired or he's going to be rehired but Maverick has a big ta...
