WWE Elimination Chamber 2019 | My Coherent Review.

Overall, this is the best WWE main roster PPV of the year with some bad booking decisions and here's why. By the way, I can't talk about the preshow match because I haven't seen it.

Sasha Banks and Bayley vs Nia Jax and Tamina vs The Riott Squad vs Naomi and Carmella vs Fire and Desire vs The IIconics. Elimination Chamber match for the WWE Women's Tag Team Championship.

WWE Photo

This was a good match. The IIconics eliminated the team of Naomi and Carmella with a double roll up pin by the IIconics to Naomi.

The Iconics then got eliminated by Nia Jax and Tamina with a double Samoan drop and eliminated The Riott Squad with a top rope Samoan Drop from Nia Jax to Liv Morgan and a Samoan Splash from Tamina to Sarah Logan.

Nia Jax and Tamina were eliminated by Sasha banks and Bayley with an elbow drop to Tamina.

The match ended with Sasha used her thigh instead of her arm to apply the bank statement to Sonya Deville and just like that, the boss n’ hug connection are the new WWE Women's Tag Team Championship.

This was much better than the last year's women's Elimination Chamber match I'll tell you that much. Again, a good match. After the match, Sasha Bank cut a promo that was pretty emotional and overall just a feel good moment.

The Miz and Shane McMahon vs The Usos for the SmackDown Live Tag Team Championship.

First thing first, congratulations to the it couple. Secondly, the match itself was decent actually. The Usos won the match here and are the new WWE Smackdown live tag team champions. This is where we’re going see some dissension between Shane and Miz. I didn't predict that Shane and Miz would lose the tag titles like that but we shall see what WWE has in store for this build.

Bobby Lashley and Lio Rush vs Finn Balor. Two on one handicap match for the Intercontinental championship.

For a handicap match, this was an okay match. Finn Balor won the match with the Coup de grace to Lio Rush. In other words, Finn is the new Intercontinental championship. After the match, Bobby assaulted his hype man, Lio Rush. Considering that Finn pinned Rush, a rematch between Bobby Lashley and Finn Balor is inevitable.

Ronda Rousey vs Ruby Riott for the RAW Women's championship.

Before the match, Charlotte Flair came out and cut a promo basically saying that she beat up the man, Becky Lynch. This match was a total squash. I mean, why can't Ruby deliver some offence at least? A booking decision I don't understand. After the match, Charlotte Flair and Ronda Rousey had a staredown to which Becky Lynch came out through the crowd. Becky then hits both Flair and Rousey with a crutch. That ending was great but the match should've gone a bit longer considering that Ruby Riott is a talented performer.

Braun Strowman vs Baron Corbin in a No DQ match.

WWE Photo

By the end of the match, Braun Strowman slammed Corbin through a table. Out came Drew McIntyre with a steel chair in hand and out of nowhere Bobby Lashley came out also with a steel chair in hand.

Bobby Lashley, Drew McIntyre and Baron Corbin beat up Braun Strowman with steel chairs, then puts Braun through two tables on top of one another, pinned Strowman and won the watch.

One question, where's Kurt Angle in this? Why’s Angle not gonna help Braun Strowman? I mean he does have a history with both Baron Corbin and Drew McIntyre right? This was a Monday Night RAW like match with no commercial breaks in between. Oh, and the match was quite boring too.

Daniel Bryan vs Samoa Joe vs Randy Orton vs Kofi Kingston vs Jeff Hardy vs AJ Styles. Elimination Chamber match for the WWE championship.

WWE Photo

This entire bout was fantastic. AJ eliminated Samoa Joe with the phenomenal forearm. Then, Daniel Bryan Eliminated Hardy with the running knee. After that, Styles was eliminated by Randy Orton with the RKO which led to Orton’s elimination from Kofi with the trouble in paradise.

After a great back and forth between Bryan and Kingston, Daniel Bryan delivered a second running knee to Kofi and retained his championship.

Minutes after the match ended, Xavier Woods and Big E came out in support of Kofi and the crowd chanted “Thank you Kofi”. Seriously, give this man a run for the championship because, with that performance, he certainly deserves it.

So, to recap for all of you slow mofos:

Like: Two Elimination Chamber matches.

Didn't like: Braun Strowman vs Baron Corbin, the Ronda Rousey vs Ruby Riott match.

WWE Smackdown 21/1/22 | A Coherent Review.

Another week, another time Pat McAfee shows me why he's better than Corey Graves. Both in the ring AND on the commentary table.  As far as how I feel about this week's episode, it ain't good, people. It ain't good.  An Image via WWE.com   Sethy Mane Wanted A Tag Partner So….………. That he faces The Usos later in the show and if drippy Jesus wins, 2 out of 3 members of the Bloodline are barred off ringside in the blue title encounter (in case you were wondering, Kevin Owens was Seth's tag partner).  BUTTTTTTTTTTTT! The tribal chief had other ideas. He proposed a pitch where if the "burn it down" man loses the tag match, the Rumble match is gone, FINITO!  Bully Ray probably saw Seth Rollins' uttering Jox Moxley's name and reacted, "HOW DARE YOU!! BLASPHEMY!"  Fortunately for SR The Drip Mane, he got what he wanted via a DQ finish thanks to a superman punch from Roman Reigns. While the ending did protect the tag champs, the consequences of i...

WWE Smackdown 17/7/20 | A Coherent Review.

This recent instalment of Smackdown was decent.  The women, for the most part, was the standout in this program and it honestly carried the show from a meh to a decent watch.  The show started off with Jeff Hardy and Sheamus talking about the upcoming bar fight which you can scroll down to read my thoughts on it.  Sasha Banks and Bayley Gives Us A New Perspective Of The Word "Greatness".  The so-called "golden role models" were praising their greatness to which Nikki Cross was furious about the way she lost at Extreme Rules.  So, Nikki wanted a rematch for the SmackDown women's championship and Bayley accepted that bout if Nikki faces her best friend, Alexa Bliss to determine the number one contender.  That match started immediately after this segment and it was a good opener.  Bayley and Sasha Banks were entertaining in the commentary as per usual.  When Corey Graves brought the fact that Bayley didn't want t...

A Few Thoughts On RAW And Smackdown: RAW wasn't GREAT!?

Since this blog will be less of a priority now considering I'm focusing on my podcast now (hit the 5 stars on Apple Podcast you sons of b*tches), I decided to share my few thoughts on RAW, Smackdown, I guess?  Smackdown.  The blue brand delivered yet another good episode this week and it's probably due to the fact that Braun Strowman taking out the Maximum Model is high-key funny as f**k.  The folks over at Titan Towers are bringing back the essence of their characters whether it's Kevin Owens, Shayna Baszler or in this case, Big Braun himself.   As a fan, you gotta love it, especially since in the case of Strowman, the dude hasn't been the same since he turned heel 4 years ago when feuding with Roman Reigns for the universal title.   Other noteworthy segments include Logan Paul challenging Roman Reigns for the big world universal multiverse galactic cinematic championship.  Imagine they pulled that match off 7 years ago back when Logan was on V...
