The 5 News Week: Samoa Joe Is Injured According to Reports, A Wyatt Family Reunion?, Alicia Fox Replacing Bliss At Evolution.

Hello, my fellow wrestling fans and welcome to the 5 news week. The post where I report 5 major or minor news of the week that I don't have time to do it separately. Without further ado, here are the 5 news week.

Samoa Joe Is Injured According to Reports

Unfortunately, Samoa Joe is reportedly injured according to the Wrestling Observer Newsletter with an unspecified injury. It could be a minor injury but given how he has been injured at the right time of his big break before, it could also be a major injury. This is a developing story as of right now and I wish him nothing but a speedy recovery.

A Wyatt Family Reunion?

Wow, another story reported by the Wrestling Observer. Who knew? Anyways according to them, WWE creative pitched an idea for Bray Wyatt and Luke Harper to reunite on TV. They haven't specified on which brand they're going to reunite on but it is interesting.

Alicia Fox To Replace Alexa Bliss At Evolution Tomorrow

As you know, a tag match was announced between Alexa Bliss and Mickie James vs Trish Stratus and Lita at evolution. However, Bliss will, unfortunately, miss that match due to a concussion at a live event which was first reported by Wrestlingnews.co but it was later confirmed by WWE.com and will be replaced by Alicia Fox instead. Like Samoa Joe's story, I wish Bliss nothing but a speedy recovery.

Matt Hardy On Being A Successful Pro Wrestler

Matt recently did an interview with culturacolectiva.com over at Mexico and talked about a variety of topics but the most interesting about that interview is on being a successful professional wrestler and here's what he had to say:

“I think in this day and age it’s really important to evolve and to change—now more than ever. Simply because the fans have such powerful voices today, and they are more relevant, since everyone can have their say. People also have a short attention span in 2018, things move so fast. As a wrestling character or persona, I think it’s your responsibility to constantly change. That’s the only way you can become “hot” or do something good. That’s where I’m at now: I’m getting ready to evolve and get to the next stage.”

I mean this is how guys like the Undertaker and Chris Jericho became relevant today simply by evolving their personas on WWE TV and to that I completely agree with him.

Jim Ross To Undergo Surgery On Skin Cancer

And finally, Jim Ross has revealed on his Ross Report podcast (which I love by the way) that he's going to have surgery on his shoulder to remove some skin cancer on Thursday. Here's the full quote from him:

"I'm getting a little cancer surgery on Thursday. I'm having some more skin cancer removed from my shoulder. There's just a little of it left, but you want to get all of it. I'm getting that cut out on Thursday."

That really sucks that he has skin cancer on his shoulder and I hope he gets rid of it once and for all.

Well, I hope you're caught up with the news and let me know your thoughts on the news I just reported and follow the blog for honest pro wrestling opinions. Anyways, stay safe smarks.

WWE Wrestlemania 26 | A Coherent Review.

I've teased a mystery review on my Facebook page (which you can click here to follow us) and that mystery has now been unveiled. It's Wrestlemania 26. This review was delayed and was supposed to be up last Monday but at least is now up. Also, The first draft of this review was 7 pages long so strap in. By far, the longest review on this very website.  I thought it would be fitting to review a Wrestlemania from a decade back and how do I feel about it? It was a show that if you watched it, you're most likely going to have a good time. It was a mix of great things but terrible things at the same time as most shows.  The 26th edition of Wrestlemania took place in the University of Phoenix Stadium in the Phoenix suburb of Glendale, Arizona on March 28th, 2010.  The commentators were Micheal Cole, Jerry Lawler and Matt Striker. Honestly, Striker was pretty good and a far better colour commentator than Lawler was on this show (even today, Lawler is still bleh on commen...

My Coherent Wrestling Wednesdays: Three Big Returns, A Great Inaugural Women's Championship Match.

If you have been a fan of this site since January, then you'll know that I've completely rebooted my review process and now, I'm doing that again.  Don't worry, the format for my RAW, Smackdown and PPV reviews will still be the same but not on Wednesdays. So, here it is, My Coherent Wrestling Wednesdays.  NXT The Highlights. Adam Cole vs Matt Riddle For The NXT Championship.  A match that opened this episode of the yellow brand, the original bro and the leader of The Undisputed Era tore the house down.  Whether it's Cole reversing the fireman's carry from Riddle into a backstabber, Cole hitting a Panama sunrise twice, a floating bro or the crowd chanting "Adam Cole, bro", it was a visual statement by NXT that the yellow brand is THE brand to watch.  Unfortunately,  Riddle felt short and ate the last shot but there was another highlight I wanna talk about….. Finn Balor Returns To N. X. T.  It's not a typo my friends, Finn ...
