RUMOUR: Asuka's English Is Causing Her Push?

Yes, people, this is an actual speculation. From Mike Johnston on the PWinsider elite audio show, he basically said that WWE doesn't have a storyline for her currently to which good old Dave Meltzer replied (Transcript via Ringside news):

 “Oh there’s tons for her right now, he just doesn’t want to — she doesn’t speak good English, I mean say what you want but that’s the bottom line. If she spoke good English I think she would be getting more. He wants you to be able to cut promos.”

What do I think of this? Look, when you're a WWE performer or a professional wrestler for that matter, having good or decent promo skills is a must but Asuka is one of those wrestlers who can be great just by her demeanour alone and if Asuka or Andrade "Cien" Almas for example in NXT has taught me is that you don't really need to be fluent in English in order to grab the fan's attention.

WWE RAW 4/3/19 | My Coherent Review.

This go home show episode of RAW was decent actually. It made me wanna watch a waste of a PPV called Fastlane with higher expectations.  Opening Segment.  The show kicked off with the Big Dog for the second week in a row. Roman Reigns cut a promo basically saying that this is the fan's yard now and calls out Seth Rollins to the ring. Seth Rollins said that he's gonna take Roman's fight with leukaemia and use it as motivation to beat Brock Lesnar for the Universal Championship.  Roman Reigns replied by telling Seth “good luck” and Roman's wants the band to get back together. Seth Rollins was conflicted at first but later accepted it. Dean Ambrose comes out and he was hit by Elias with a guitar. Decent segment and I was expecting for Drew, Lashley and Corbin to come out but I'm glad that didn't happen. THE Coherent AEW Take: YOU KNOW IT'S ALL ABOUT THE BOOM!

 I was about to talk about this week's AEW line of shows, were as mid as any Flo Rida song but then…………..YOU KNOW IT'S ALL ABOUT THE BOOM!  The Elite brand's flagship show literally made the save like the "babyface shows up to rescue their partner from a brawl" cliche.  Rampage.    Highlights.  Well, there is none as this week's show was pretty darn skippable. It was "multi-person matches with babyfaces making the save post-match".  Some Other Things That Happened.  Dan Lambert continues to be as annoying as an anti-smark on Reddit - This is the only time where I'm cheering for the white saviour, Cody Rhodes. Oh, and Sammy Guevara made the save for Rhodes against Lambert and his lackeys. The Elite guys lost to Orange Cassidy, Best Friends And Rocky Romero - That brainbuster into a double superkick from Cole and the Young Bucks was cool.  Tay Conti defeated Penelope Ford - Could've lasted a tiny bit longer but it was a decent encounter....

WWE RAW 28/12/20 | A Bit Late Coherent Review.

Before I start this review, I wanna say rest in peace to Jon Huber better known as the person behind the character of Luke Harper and Brodie Lee.  It was a tough, painful 3 days for the pro wrestling industry and I certainly felt that.  If there's one thing I've learned from the number of great stories being told by the people he has worked with is that Jon is a charming, funny and overall a fantastic human being that loves his family.  After reading the countless amount of fantastic tribute posts (including from the likes of Molly Belle of Wrestle Inn and Andrew Thompson of Post Wrestling ), that bit about Jon as a family man made me think of my current relationship with my father and the ways I'm trying to improve from my standpoint.  I know this is a cheese pizza saying but tell the people you cared about that you love 'em because that line might make their day.  So.
