RUMOUR: Asuka's English Is Causing Her Push?

Yes, people, this is an actual speculation. From Mike Johnston on the PWinsider elite audio show, he basically said that WWE doesn't have a storyline for her currently to which good old Dave Meltzer replied (Transcript via Ringside news):

 “Oh there’s tons for her right now, he just doesn’t want to — she doesn’t speak good English, I mean say what you want but that’s the bottom line. If she spoke good English I think she would be getting more. He wants you to be able to cut promos.”

What do I think of this? Look, when you're a WWE performer or a professional wrestler for that matter, having good or decent promo skills is a must but Asuka is one of those wrestlers who can be great just by her demeanour alone and if Asuka or Andrade "Cien" Almas for example in NXT has taught me is that you don't really need to be fluent in English in order to grab the fan's attention.

WWE NXT 18/9/19 | My Coherent Review.

The first and the upcoming NXT TV episodes with an hour added to it and was it any good? Honestly, it was great. Really liked how they implemented NXT, NXT UK and 205 Live.  The only thing I could critique is that the pacing was a bit off but I'm sure that Triple H and the rest of the creative team will handle that in the near future.  There was a different intro narrated by Triple H basically putting NXT over which was great. Io Shirai vs Bianca Belair vs Mia Yim vs Candice Lerae. Winner Gets To Face Shayna Baszler For The NXT Women's Championship. Mia Yim at one point, hits the toe pay suicida (yes, I pronounced it that way sue me) Mamma Mia to most of the competitors and then, The genius of the sky does something genius in her element with a moonsault on everybody (that first line made no sense Omar, what is wrong with you?).  The match ended with a reverse hurricanrana and a springboard moonsault to become the number one contender for the NXT wome...

WWE Clash Of Champions 2019 | My Coherent Review.

This Clash of Champions show was one enormous meh. Also, AJ Styles in the pre-show? That's a first but that match was pretty decent as well as the cruiserweight championship match.  Seth Rollins And Braun Strowman vs Dolph Ziggler And Robert Roode For The RAW Tag team Championship.  During this tag team title match, Ziggler hits a devastating looking DDT to Seth Rollins outside the ring. The odd couple then delivered quick tag team moves but moments later Rollins reversed Ziggler's sleeper hold into a falcon arrow to which Rollins tagged Braun Strowman and took out Ziggler and Roode for a bit.  This match has ended with a Glorious DDT from Robert Roode to Seth Rollins after Braun accidentally knocked out Rollins and Ziggler threw the monster among men over the top rope.  A decent opener with a predictable ending that I don't mind. THE Coherent AEW Take: I Ain't Tellin' You No Lie, The Hook Brings You Back

PAGE AND BRYAN! HOOK! HOOK! HOOK! PAGE AND BRYAN! HOOK! HOOK! HOOK!  That's it. That's the intro.  Rampage.   Highlights.  HOOOOOOOOK!  I mean, I gotta support the man himself named Hook, DUHHH!  What can I say, I like a man that is built different, quick, agile and hard……..in professional wrestling, of course.  Suffice to say, Hook does something that Kalya Braxton doesn't and that is, making all biracials proud.  FTR vs Lucha Brothers for the AEW world tag team championship Two of the best tag teams I've ever witnessed as a wrestling fan (yes, they're THAT darn good) battling it out in an opening match so banging, not even your Beats headphone can replicate it, ya feel me?  The Lucha Brothers get to walk out of this episode of Rampage still as the reigning world tag champs.  Some Other Things That Happened.  Adam Cole defeated Wheeler Yuta - Adam Cole appreciation comment.  Dynamite.  Highlights.  Hangman Page...
