RUMOUR: Asuka's English Is Causing Her Push?

Yes, people, this is an actual speculation. From Mike Johnston on the PWinsider elite audio show, he basically said that WWE doesn't have a storyline for her currently to which good old Dave Meltzer replied (Transcript via Ringside news):

Oh there’s tons for her right now, he just doesn’t want to — she doesn’t speak good English, I mean say what you want but that’s the bottom line. If she spoke good English I think she would be getting more. He wants you to be able to cut promos.”

What do I think of this? Look, when you're a WWE performer or a professional wrestler for that matter, having good or decent promo skills is a must but Asuka is one of those wrestlers who can be great just by her demeanour alone and if Asuka or Andrade "Cien" Almas for example in NXT has taught me is that you don't really need to be fluent in English in order to grab the fan's attention.

WWE Smackdown 25/10/19 | My Coherent Review.

Another disappointing episode of Friday night Smackdown but it was a bit better this week. Still, a meh episode.  Miz TV. Special Guest, Team Hulk Hogan And Team Ric Flair.  Both team Hulk Hogan and team Flair were guests on the latest edition of Miz TV or at least most of it due to a brand split. Hulk Hogan mentioned in his promo that he's put out the greatest team Hulkamania of all time (are the mega powers and Brutus Beefcake a joke to you brother?)  Ric Flair replied by basically saying that his team will beat Hogan's team at Crown Jewel. Sami Zayn made a short joke and Gable tells Zayn that he embraces who he is.  Roman Reigns called King Corbin stupid to which Hogan proposed a match in the main event of this episode between most of team Hogan vs most of team Flair in a 6 man tag team match.  Sami on behalf of the team, refused to accept that but after Hogan said something to Nakamura in Japanese, Sami told Hogan that the 6 man tag ma...

An Update On My Podcast.

I was supposed to start recording my first ever podcast yesterday.  Exciting, right? Unfortunately, my anxiety got the best of me and I feel really sh*tty about it.  As of yesterday, my panic attack was so bad that I built up a stomach ache that led to some vomiting.  I've never felt this emotionally wrecked in weeks.  Why am I writing about this? Well, it's time for me to open up on what's going with me personally and it's way for me to connect with you guys on that level.  For now, I'm sticking to the written word and the podcast will be delayed indefinitely until I get the confidence enough to speak.  So, see you guys maybe on The 5 News Week?  Take care of yourselves, people because to quote Spiderman in Avengers: Infinity War, "I don't feel so good".

The 5 News Week: The State Of Monday Night RAW.

Hello, my fellow wrestling fans and welcome to the 5 news week. The post where I report 5 major or minor pro wrestling news, rumours and spoilers of the week that I don't have time to do it separately.   Without further ado, here are the 5 news week.   Images via WWE.com The State Of Monday Night RAW.  To all of the viewers who were curious as to why I haven't reviewed Monday Night RAW this past week (by viewers, I mean the only two viewers I get each post) it is because the show is really f**king insufferable to get through.  It is so bad in fact that I dedicated this section of the news week talking about the state of Monday Night Raw and why the 3-hour program just simply doesn't work (by the way, some of these tropes have been used on WWE TV in general but unlike the red brand, Smackdown and NXT are actually enjoyable to watch as a whole).  #1. Dumb babyface cliche. (this clip of Damian Priest facing off The Miz and John Morrison should explain the...
