RUMOUR: Asuka's English Is Causing Her Push?

Yes, people, this is an actual speculation. From Mike Johnston on the PWinsider elite audio show, he basically said that WWE doesn't have a storyline for her currently to which good old Dave Meltzer replied (Transcript via Ringside news):

 “Oh there’s tons for her right now, he just doesn’t want to — she doesn’t speak good English, I mean say what you want but that’s the bottom line. If she spoke good English I think she would be getting more. He wants you to be able to cut promos.”

What do I think of this? Look, when you're a WWE performer or a professional wrestler for that matter, having good or decent promo skills is a must but Asuka is one of those wrestlers who can be great just by her demeanour alone and if Asuka or Andrade "Cien" Almas for example in NXT has taught me is that you don't really need to be fluent in English in order to grab the fan's attention.

AEW Thursday Night Dynamite | A Bit Late Coherent Review.

Fridays are my day off and while this is my hobby, I treat this site as work given the articles I put out and the amount of research that goes into those articles.  With that being said, what do I think about AEW Dynamite Thursday edition?  It wasn't as good as the Saturday episode however, it was at least somewhat tolerable to watch.  In other words, it was okay.  A Tag Team Gauntlet Match To Determine The Number One Contenders For The AEW World Tag Team Championship.  Look, I see the fans not practising social distancing despite wearing masks.  However, I would be lying if I didn't get a kick out of the fans singing Chris Jericho's theme song again.  Anywho, the entire thing was solid.  The Young Bucks got rid of Dusty Rhodes and QT Marshall but they can't get rid of Best Friends due to one man, Hangman Adam Page.  The possible falling out of the elite is something I gotta keep an eye on.  I'm c...

WWE RAW 17/6/19 | My Coherent Review.

Gotta be honest, I wasn't looking forward to Stomping Ground this coming Sunday but this episode actually did its job to build a bit of excitement for this PPV. I mean, I'm gonna watch that PPV regardless but it's really a good feeling when you get a pretty good RAW episode going into a PPV that I don't care for all that much. Elias Concert.  As you can tell from reading the title, this show started off with an Elias concert. The quote "greatest musical act in history" was crapping on Los Angeles and revealed that he's the special guest referee for the Universal Championship at Stomping Ground.  Seth Rollins came out and hits Elias with a steel chair. Rollins ended the segment by cutting a promo saying that he's warning anybody that wants to be a special guest referee that he's gonna get a steel chair shot on the back. This was okay. WWE RAW 18/2/19 | My Coherent Review.

The NXT calls up made this show a bit better but overall, this show was not only forgettable but as well as it was a visual Nyquil.   Opening segment.  This show started off with Triple H and cut a promo basically saying that history was made last night and also talked about DX being inducted into the WWE hall of fame (congrats to them).  After that, Triple H announced two things. One, 5 NXT talents will be in action tonight and showed a great video package highlighting those men. They are Ricochet, Aleister Black, Johnny Gargano and Tommaso Ciampa. Two, a tables match between Braun Strowman and Baron Corbin (sigh).  I don't know if that's an official call up but considering that WWE hasn't done pretty anything with the other NXT call ups, I'm not optimistic about how WWE creative books them in the near future.  Braun Strowman vs Baron Corbin in a tables match.  Braun Strowman won the match with a running powerslam through...
