WWE RAW 3/9/18 | My Coherent Review.

RAW last night was bad, boring and for the most part unbearable to watch. Why you ask? Well, I'm gonna tell you what's good, what's ok and what's bad. Here we go.

WHAT'S GOOD

Shawn Michaels gives his prediction between Triple H and the Undertaker

Shawn Michaels comes out with a standing ovation because he's Shawn freaking Michaels. He predicts that his boy triple h wins that match and the reason being is because he has a lot left in the tank compared to the undertaker which sadly I agree with him. After that the Undertaker's music hit and comes out to the ring and that's when the segment got a lot better mainly because their match at WrestleMania 26 was fantastic. If you're telling me that two legends of that industry had the segment of the night then WWE needs to really get their priorities straight.

WHAT'S OK

The opening segment

The promo starts with him replaying the events of that awful ending last week via a promo via a promo package. The reason for his beat down was because he wanted to give him the taste of his own medicine pretty much and with Drew and Dolph by his side, they're unstoppable. The shield then comes out and wasted no time to attack them and all the male wrestlers on RAW were trying to separate all 6 men. This feels like I've seen this before but I didn't really hate it all that much unlike the ending last week.

The Bella twins vs the riott squad

Their first match as a team in three but was it decent? I would say yes. At one point in commentary, when brie was hitting the yes kicks to Sarah Logan, Corey Graves said that it's nice of her for shouting out the miz with her yes kicks which made me laugh. The match was fine, the Bella twins win with Nikki delivering the rack attack 2.0 to Liv Morgan.

Bobby Roode and Chad Gable vs The Ascension

Meh match. The team of Chad Gable and Bobby Roode wins with Chad's modified German suplex.

Elias Concert but with an interruption AGAIN!

Elias was you know, doing his thing but then Alexa Bliss of all people comes out and does a face/heel promo swerve cliché and then she's flirting with him. That segment leads to a Natalya vs Alexa bliss match and it was like RAW last night was meh. Bliss wins with the armbar finish to Natalya that normally Ronda uses with her finish. Whatever.

The B team vs the revival

Before the match, the revival got their ass kicked by Dolph and Drew. So now the match is the B team vs Dolph and Drew for the RAW tag team championship. Match was decent. The match ends with Dolph hitting the superkick and then did their double team manoeuvre to axel and wins the match and the championship and all I can say is FINALLY!

WHAT'S BAD

Authors of pain vs local jobbers
A picture is worth a thousand words and this one is no exception. Anyways with jobbers involved, this is an obvious squash match. They win with the last chapter.

Sasha and Bayley vs Dana Brooke and Ember Moon.

If most of the match the commentary were talking about the Undertaker/ Shawn Michaels segment then you can pretty much tell that this match was a waste. A short waste because the team of Sasha and Bayley wins the match.

Why Would You Put Me To This WWE?

This segment was laughably AWFUL. What a waste of time. It's so bad that I don't wanna go over with this segment and what a lame way to bring back Owens like all this intrigue for nothing.

At this point, the show was so frustratingly boring that I didn't watch the entire Braun Strowman vs Finn Balor match. I watched it on YouTube and what happened after the match and what I’ve seen, It was pretty much similar to last week's beatdown.

Sound off in the comments on what do you think about RAW last week and follow the blog for honest pro wrestling opinions. Anyways, stay safe smarks.

AEW Dynamite Blood And Guts | A Coherent Review.

Another watchable episode of AEW Dynamite but this time, it features the first-ever Blood And Guts encounter. Kenny Omega And Michael Nakazawa vs Jon Moxley And Eddie Kingston.  Don Callis announced that Michael Nakazawa is going to face Mox and Kingston all by himself only for Kenny Omega to show up and compete in the match anyway.  A weird booking choice but I'm just nitpicking.  What wasn't weird was how the match ended with a double team dragon suplex into a clothesline from the duo of Mox and Kingston to Nakazawa.  Then, a beatdown ensued from Omega's Posse to Jonny Mox and Eddie Kingston. The Young Bucks vs Jon Moxley and Eddie Kingston? I'm down.  It was revealed later in the night that a number one contenders match for the AEW championship is set up for next week's show between Orange Cassidy and Pac. I'm assuming AEW is saving the Hangman Page and Kenny Omega encounter for All Out?  Either way, AEW has the potential to tell an interesting story of ...

The Coherent Wrestling Wednesdays: Did NXT Just Delivered Their Best Go Home Show!?, A Fantastic AEW Dynamite Main Event.

Did I just witness the best NXT go home show ever?  The answer my friends is yes.  While I prefer NXT this week, AEW Dynamite wasn't bad either and a big step up compared to the series of bore-fest shows they produced.  NXT   Highlights.  Msk vs Legado De La Fantasma. Dusty Rhodes Tag Team Classic Tournament SemiFinals.  God damn. What a way to start off the NXT before Vengeance Day.  Unique offensives from Msk is why that tag team is growing on me pretty quickly.  And luckily for them, they advance to the finals which will be conducted at Takeover: Vengeance Day with a double team manoeuvre.  Xia Li Continues To Dominate.  I've been a fan of whatever NXT is doing with this angle and it's mainly because they're embracing the cinematic scripted nature of the business which is what some consider "unrealistic" for some reason.  And yet, they don't mind The Undertaker shooting lightning-like Static Shock at Royal Rumble 2006 but he...

WWE RAW 5/10/20 | A Coherent Review.

I have not said this in a RAW review in a very long time but the show as a whole was straight up dogsh*t awful.  It's so bad that I didn't like one ounce about this program.  pictures via wwe.com Randy Orton Remembers His Match At Clash Of Champions.  The show started off with Randy Orton recalling certain aspects about the WWE championship match at Clash Of Champions.  Orton goes on to say that Drew doesn't deserve the championship because the legends interfered in the ambulance match.  The promo ended with Orton bringing up the fact that he beat up four legends last week on RAW (again, explain the physics behind this?).  Drew showed up and he laid waste on the guy.  Randy has been quite exceptional in the dialogue department but this ain't it.  The promo actually put me to sleep and the show didn't even hit 10 minutes up until that point.  If they suddenly end the rivalry like nothing happened, while it doesn't make sense, I'm all for it be...
