WWE Smackdown Live 28/8/18 | My Coherent Review.

Overall, Smackdown Live was better than RAW in terms of having a somewhat good ending. Why you ask? Well, I'm gonna give you what's good, what's ok and the bad parts about this show were none in my opinion. Without further ado, this is my coherent, honest review of this week's Smackdown Live. 

WHAT'S GOOD  

New day's celebration

You have the new day celebration with their interaction with booker T and the addition of the spinaroonie or the spinaroonie, in this case, was entertaining and an odd but amusing opening segment. 

Daniel Bryan vs Andrade "Cien" almas

 Daniel Bryan's promo with Brie Bella by his side was like the Naomi vs Billie Kay match, it was there. However, the match itself was pretty good in my opinion. That chop by almas looked brutal bro like damn. Daniel Bryan wins Via DQ by miz beating him, almas hitting the hammerlock DDT, Maryse hitting a brutal looking DDT to brie bella and then miz hitting the skull crushing finale to Bryan and I noticed that his miz's t-shirt reminds me of that shirt he wore in 2011ish. Either way, this is guud *Booker T voice*. 

Samoa joe's psychological warfare part III

Instead, The Samoan Submission Machine appears on the TitanTron and wonders who’s looking after AJ's kids.
My goodness, WWE are doing a fantastic job of making Samoa joe a prick in this storyline. The way he said Wendy in a calm matter unlike last week made me laugh so hard. MAN! Samoa joe is SO good. 


WHAT'S OK

A Number One Contender's Match

That opening segment let to a tag team 3-way dance match to determine the number one contender for the tag team championship and where the hell was the colóns all this time? The match was ok. The bar wins the match and will face the new day for the championship at hell in a cell pay per view and if their match a couple of weeks ago tell us anything, it's tell that they are gonna steal the show no pun intended. 

Jeff hardy calls out randy

The Charismatic Enigma calls Orton to the ring and vows to finish what The Viper started.
The promo was pretty much hardy having a great feeling when he put randy through the table. Jeff calls out randy and he actually came out which was different. Randy then makes fun of the Toronto crowd and jeff makes this match official by them facing each other inside hell in a cell. So my prediction came true and I'm hella excited for this match. 

Naomi vs Billie Kay

I don't know what the Toronto crowd was chanting but the match was there. Billie Kay with the school boy roll up via a distraction.

Charlotte vs Carmella

I feel Iike carmella has improved just a bit in her in ring skills. Charlotte of course wins with the figure 8 and then becky outta nowhere, beat the crap out of charlotte with a thunderous ovation from the crowd and cut an promo basically saying that she's taking back her smackdown women's championship.

Smackdown live was overall a good show. Why you ask? Well, I'm gonna tell you what's good, what's ok and what's bad. Here we go.  WHAT'S GOOD Jeff Hardy vs Shinsuke Nakamura The promo before this was okay however that was a goooood match. Better than their in counter at SummerSlam. Jeff was about to beat Nakamura, however, randy outta nowhere pushes hardy on the outside hence Nakamura retains the championship and Jeff wins via DQ. They had a brawl that was better than the brawl last night on RAW I'll tell you that much.  Samoa Joe telling a bedtime story in a good not boring way.   I thought from the editing to the design of the book to the way Samoa Joe express the story was fantastic. The thing I LOVE about this is that it's a outside in the box type of promo package that worked. Man, I can't wait for this match. On Sunday night when the PPV airs, I think I'm gonna call my local "WENDYYYS" (My goodness that was awfu...

A Few News I Guess: NXT Japan Ain't Happening?, Thoughts On Apollo Crews' "Injury".

For those wondering, yes, a new instalment of The 5 News Week will be up next week (if you're new, basically every Sunday, I report on the 5 major or minor news of the week hence the name "5 News Week").  It's just something I'm releasing given that I haven't reviewed RAW yesterday. But for now, here are a few news I guess?  NXT Japan Ain't Happening?  The Japanese wrestling scene is something I'm not all too familiar with (I mean, you're the resident WWE shill, Omar, what do you think?).  But, I've been keeping an eye on news regarding NXT's latest expansion in the land of the rising sun for several months now and trust me, there are so many reports dating back several months about this topic that will easily fill 2,000 words. WWE RAW 10/8/20 | A Coherent Review.

This episode when it's good, it is REALLY good but when it's awful, it is REALLY awful. A mixed bag of a show, to be honest. pictures via WWE.com Two Contract Signings? For the first time at least in my lifetime, there are two contract signing for the same one match. Anywho, it's for the Seth Rollins and Dominik Mysterio match and Samoa Joe is the moderator which by the way, he's the best one yet. Based on Seth's promo telling Mysterio's Hijo that he can use a kendo stick or anything in the toolbox, it sounds like it's a no DQ match. The best part about this engaging segment by far is Joe's promo about how Seth Rollins was a different man ever since the fans booed him. Dominik's line quote, "Seth Rollins' actions change the lives of good men for the worst" pretty much describes Seth's heel run so far and I love it.
