WWE RAW Go Home Show 13/8/18 | My Coherent Review.

The go home show for RAW was surprisingly good that did it's job to make you or in this case make me excited for summerslam next week. Before i talk about this show, i what to give my thoughts to Nattie Neidhart aka Natalya and the entire hart family and friends who's been affected by the death of Jim The Anvil Neidhart. Now, i'm gonna give what's good, what's ok and what's bad. Let do this.

WHAT'S GOOD

The opening segment and the alexa bliss vs ember moon match.

WWE Photo
The promo from ronda starts by giving thoughts to her friend natalya on Jim The Anvil Neidhart passing which was classy and great. For some reason the camera guy was zooming on ronda's face way too much and i don't get it why. The promo ends by saying that she's gonna beat alexa to become the RAW women's champion.

Outcomes alexa bliss with alicia fox by her side and basically saying that ronda's an "overhyped, overrated rookie" and she brought security guards to protect her from ronda which spoilers, that didn't go so well. The match with ember moon and alexa bliss was decent and the crowd were hot for most of this match. During the match, ember delivered a gutbuster to bliss which looked sick and devastating at the same time. Ember wins via DQ.  A great way to start RAW.

Tag Team Title Match

WWE Photo
Solid tag team title match. It was a bit short but sweet. One of the high points of this match was matt hardy delivering a superplex to scott dawson on the entire participants of this match. The B teams retains the championship by axel throwing dawson on the outside and pinning an unconscious bray wyatt. Now they just announced that the B team will defend the titles against the revival at the summerslam preshow which it should be a decent match.

The intercontinental championship contract signing

I thought this entire segment was great and not only because of dean amborse returning which by the way, welcome back dean but it's because of the promo which was cut by dolph ziggler. I love the fact that the intercontinental championship is given in a higher pedestal. Kudos to creative on that one.

WHAT'S OK

Baron corbin vs Tyler breeze and Braun and Finn vs Mahal and Owens

WWE Photo
By the way, Baron cobin's theme song and entrance is great to watch. As far as the match itself, it was longer that it supposed to be. Baron wins with the great looking deep six. Now the tag match after this was surprisingly decent and one of the reasons why again, is because of the crowd. The team of braun strowman and finn balor wins with braun's running bodyslam to jinder mahal.

Elias's biggest fan does a favour for Elias

For like a few seconds, i thought that the local competitor looked like fandango for a split second. Then Elias comes out and basically promoted his concert on summerslam weekend and told him that if you are fan then face bobby lashley. Bobby Lashley came out and cut a tolerateable (if that's a real word) promo and the match hasn't started yet? Meh segment but better than the duet a couple of weeks ago.

Paul heyman's swerve

Now, the segment was decent surprisingly because it's Monday Night RAW for God sake.
Some people and understandably so, thought that the twist or the swerve didn't make sense and i somewhat disagree with that.

Paul heyman has been loyal to brock for years with the exception of paul's heel turn in survivor series 2002. The thing is, if WWE puts a turn on brock then WWE are getting rid of brock's one if not his greatest asset.

However, the backstage segment of brock and paul heyman a couple of weeks ago makes this sudden turn of events meaningless but that's just me.

WHAT'S BAD

Meaningless matches

Speaking of the word meaningless, those matches are examples of filler and i don't like filler and that's my thoughts on that. Ruby wins with a school boy roll up and The team of Titus worldwide and bobby roode wins with roode hitting the glorious DDT to Mojo rawley.

WWE Smackdown Season Premiere | A Coherent Review.

It is the season premiere of Friday night Smackdown even though WWE doesn't have an offseason.  Nevertheless, it was a decent program and had a WAY better ending than whatever the hell of an ending last year's premiere of Friday night Smackdown showed.  There isn't a women's match this week and all of the AEW fanboys are looking at this like, "sEe, WWE dOeSn't feATuRe wOmeN'S mAtChEs aLsO."  pictures via WWE.com The Season Premiere Of Smackdown 2020.  The show started off with Triple H and Stephanie McMahon highlighting the scheduled matches for Smackdown as well as the superstars.  Chaos then ensued thanks to a huge brawl. Then, the "super freak" Lars Sullivan came out and delivered the freak accident to Shorty G.  Somehow, Jeff Hardy attacked him and that led to the opening match of the night between Lars and Jeff.  You know, I'm kind of surprised that two white people in McMahon and Hemsley knew who Rick James is.  Maybe I'm igno...

The Coherent Wrestling Wednesdays: Fyter Fest 2020 Came Back Swinging?

Last week, on this very series, I said that I enjoyed Great American Bash better than Fyter Fest.  Well, this week is the exact opposite. AEW came in swinging with night 2 Fyter Fest.  I've not liked a Dynamite episode in several weeks so it's nice to see that the show finally executed a great show since God knows how long.   NXT      Highlights (at least in my opinion because wrestling is subjective).  Mia Yim vs Candice LeRae In A Street Fight. The match went underway after Yim quickly attacked Candice LeRae during LeRae's entrance.  In the crowd area, Candice tried to nail the suplex on the table but Yim got out of that position and kicked her to which she landed through the table.  The Streetfight concluded with LeRae striking Yim with the brass knuckles followed by a swinging neck from the top of the table onto a bunch of chairs and that's how LeRae defeats the HBIC.  A fun opening match even though...

THE Coherent AEW Take: Christian Dior, Dior. Eddie Kingston up in all the stores!

Ever since AEW Dynamite was on Saturday night for a bit, I've been WAY behind on AEW content so excuse my ignorance. And It's Full Gear weekend which means another PPV that would last longer than the Snyder cut.  Sheeit, I'll bet the collar and elbow hold alone from the Hangman Page and Kenny Omega championship match, is longer than the entire Queen's Crown tournament.  As far as how I feel about both programs this week, well.  They did an okay job on building towards the final AEW PPV of the year this Saturday. Rampage.   Highlights.  Bryan Danielson vs Anthony Bowens.  And no, the highlight doesn't include Max Caster's verses. I'll rather listen to f**king Riff Raff than Max Caster's dig on anything.  The worst part, people are probably going to look at this and say, "can't wait for a Max Caster's appearance on Wild 'N Out!"  With that being said, this opening match was good. Danielson wins with the rebel lock.  Eddie Kingston (wi...
