WWE RAW 9/7/18 | My Coherent Review.

Strowman has been unstoppable over the last one year.

The go home show for RAW was surprisingly ok considering that the past few RAWs has been terrible. Why you ask? Well, i'm gonna give you what's good, what's ok and what's bad. Let's talk wrestling shall we?

WHAT'S GOOD

The main event

WWE Photo

This was a great match with countless near falls and it had an unpredictable finish. What do i mean by this? Well matches like "if X wrestler beats Y wrestler then he's banned from ringside at Wrestlemania" or something and the babyface using wins but not this match and i really appreciate that even though WWE hasn't impressed me that much overall. Drew wins with the claymore. Again, great stuff by both men.

Mojo rawley as of late

WWE Photo

Yes i put his segments with no way jose on what's bad. However, he has showed intensity and seriousness to his character and if he keeps on winning matches and gaining some momentum like becky over on Smackdown Live then we might see a great side of mojo rawley. And mojo wins with a devastating Alabama slam.

WHAT'S OK

Nia jax and Natalya vs Alexa bliss and Micke james

WWE Photo

The match was ok. Nia wins with a leg drop to mickie james. I honestly again, don't give a shit about this feud. Just ended it and have ronda face alexa bliss at summerslam please?

Woken matt hardy vs Bo dallas

WWE Photo

Bo dallas and cutris axel's impression as their opponents this sunday is getting old and boring. The match was fine, nothing groundbreaking or anything like that. Bo wins with a swinging neckbreaker.

Baron corbin and elias vs Bobby roode and Finn Balor

By the way, what's going on with finn balor? Why is he smiling all the time? That's the questions i asked to myself ever single week for the past few months now. Anyways, the match was fine (that's WWE creative looking at the horrendous segment last week with finn balor and baron corbin. "Oh it's fine"). Baron corbins with with the end of days. Hoping finn balor moves on from this.

Kevin owens hiding from Braun strowman

This feud in my humble opinion, makes kevin owens sympathetic and makes braun look like a dick at that's the problem with this feud. The match itself should be interesting.

WHAT'S BAD

Ember moon vs Liv morgan

WWE Photo

Why am i seeing this match AGAIN? WHY? WHY? WHY? Anyways, i'm loving ember moon so far but wouldn't be better if she faced sarah logan instead? That's what i called it a BOOKING HOLE similar to a plot hole in movies/television shows.

Roman reigns brawls with Bobby lashley

Instead, Reigns and Lashley start throwing haymakers!

Look, i'm not putting this on what's bad because "i hate roman therefore i shit whenever he's on a segment/match". It's because it feels like i've seen this before. It's feels so similar to his brawl with Triple H a couple of years ago and both brawls ended with roman delivering a suicide dive to half of the RAW roster including lashley himself. But hey, at least the video of the opening brawl got 1.5 million views as of writing this. Meaning that, at least somebody enjoys it but that doesn't mean that i have to enjoy this.

What do you think about RAW's go home show this week? And yes i'm working on a predictions blog post of extreme rules so subscribed to this blog to get honest pro wrestling opinions. Follow me on twitter @omar_playa and stay safe smarks.

WWE RAW 7/1/19 | My Coherent Review

My first RAW review of 2019 and surprisingly, this show was decent. Now, would RAW put on decent shows in the coming weeks or months? Probably not but I hope that's the case. Now, usually on my RAW and Smackdown Live reviews, I give my thoughts on what's good, what's ok and what bad ( click here if you curious as to how the format looks like). However, since this is the new year, I'm gonna get rid of that and instead just put my in-depth thoughts just like my PPV reviews. Without further ado, on with the review.  Opening Segment The show itself started off with a brawl between Seth Rollins and Bobby Lashley that lasted for a very short period of time. After that’s done, the opening segment started with John Cena and cuts a promo on how he’s gonna earn his golden ticket to Wrestlemania by entering in this year’s Royal Rumble match.  Out came Drew McIntyre and he said that Cena’s accomplishments is what Drew cares about. He then went on how he’s b...

The 5 News Week: The Current Plan For Eva Marie According To Reports.

Hello, my fellow wrestling fans and welcome to the 5 news week. The post where I report 5 major or minor pro wrestling news, rumours and spoilers of the week that I don't have time to do it separately.  Without further ado, here are the 5 news week.  What’s Going On With The ShowBuzz Daily Website!? Dave Meltzer on the Wrestling Observer has expressed concern regarding Showbuzz Daily not posting the daily TV rating due to technical issues stating (from Cagesideseats ) "all wrestling companies, TV companies, sports stations, etc. looked to that site for numbers.” The owner of the Showbuzz Daily entity, Mitch Metcalf, took to the blue hell that is Twitter and said that they can't add content to the site anymore over a shutdown that isn't clear as to what caused the shutdown itself.  Metcalf went on to highlight that due to operating the site without generating revenue, the cost and time to bring back the site has made him think about the future of ShowBuzz Daily.  Is...

WWE Super Showdown 2020 | My Coherent Review.

Super showdown 2020 was dull, boring and even frustrating at times. The two previous Saudi shows from last year were surprisingly okay but this was just a flavourless taste in my mouth and this is coming from the resident WWE shill. By far, the worst PPV of 2020 so far.  PRESHOW: The Viking Raiders vs The O.C. In Luke Gallows And Karl Anderson.  A skippable match that we've seen for the gazillionth time. Yay for unwanted repetition! The O.C wins. Cool.  MAIN-SHOW: AJ Styles vs. Andrade vs. Bobby Lashley vs. Erick Rowan vs. R-Truth vs. Rey Mysterio. Gauntlet Match for the Tuwaiq Trophy.  R Truth and Bobby Lashley started off this match and Truth wins via a roll-up. Lashley then attacks R Truth (like we've not seen that spot before) to which out came the second opponent of the night, the returning Andrade and the way that encounter ended was odd yet somehow not horrible.  Both men hit each other with their heads and Truth pins the guy to keep fight...
